The low rating on this book is due to the title and promotional materials. If the book was marketed as a book of mindfulness practices, or a guide to Buddhism - I would have rated it much higher. But because of the ties to 'mindful moments in the garden,' I had to rate it lower. It just does not have enough connection to gardening to justify the title and promotional direction. It is a lovely book about mindfulness. It provides great direction on how to strive towards mindfulness. It has fabulous quotes. It has good explanations of Buddhist philosophies. But in the end, it doesn't have a whole lot to do with gardening or incorporating these mindful practices into your day-to-day gardening efforts.
