A book about butts - what is there not to love (for kids) about butts? They love butts, noisy butts, silly butts, flatulence and giggles. My 6-year-old found the book to be goofy and funny but she wished there were more girls because "girls think farts are funny too!". Overall this book was decent and silly, we would look for other books in the series to check out from the library and share some laughs over.
If you find butts funny, you will love this book. If you read this book to a group of kindergartners, you will be their giggling hero.
A fun book for a particular age group that finds bodily noises extremely amusing. This will be a good addition to my library to get some reluctant readers checking out.
Thank you to the publisher and to Net Galley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Sometimes books just need to be fun, and this one is very fun. Kids will love it, as will adults who aren’t afraid of getting silly. Lots of giggles to go around!
This was a cute little book about kids and how our bodies make noises sometimes. I really love the artwork in this book and it was really adorable!
A young boy has a butt that is very loud at very inconvenient times. The boy shares his experiences with his butt hooting and tooting, humming and strumming, clanging and banging. While reading this book, I laughed out loud as it is hilarious. The illustrations are terrific. While I wouldn’t want to have the experiences that the boy had, it was fun to see his reactions. It’s a great story that can show what not to do.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.
This book is a definite rootin' tootin' good time! What happens when your bum is noisy and no one understand you? Find out in this hilarious book! I can't wait to read it to my kids!
This was a cute book about flatulence. I’ve always wanted to read books by this author but haven’t had the opportunity. The main character and story were nicely developed. I liked the message with the parents. I think my students would enjoy this book.
The first book was too cute for words and I loved sharing it with my Bookmobile students. Dawn McMillan has done it again with her witty writing! This book is just amazing and I know many students will be laughing on my Bookmobile! The humor is perfect for kids and I know that the girls will say eww and the boys will be yelling YES! LOVE!!! ***Note this was an honest review of an ARC copy from NetGalley.
My kids and I died laughing over this book. My daughter said, “this little tooting boy is just like my brother” and my son said, “it was so funny, silly, and just like me.” I would venture to say they liked it and most kids would too! It’s funny, silly, and honestly tootin’ hilarious! This is the book for all the gas passin’ kids in your life!
