If, like me, you haven't read the other books in the series you may feel lost about some background information, but overall the story can still be enjoyed. I wasn't expecting the brother/adopted sister angle and while I Wasn't thrilled about that part of the storyline, I kept reading :) Overall, a quick read with some like D/s and a hot military MC hero.

First time reading this author but not last. She makes the romance so hot you need ice water to put out the flames. The suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat, there’s humor as well. Hollywood is the man of her dreams. The problem his, he’s her brother or is he? When one wild and strong minded woman meets up with a dominant male, it’s hard to tell, whose topping who!

Royally Chosen Christmas is seventh in Elle Boon's Royal Sons MC series. I enjoyed seeing Hollywood accept just what brotherhood means as he fights to protect Talena. However first he needs to accept both his and her feelings and if a brother has to ram that point into a motherfu**er than so be it. I loved seeing the brotherhood in action. Hollywood has a few hangups but his brot hgt er are there to help he see the error in his ways. I love that they show Hollywood they are there for him just as he was t hff were for them. For a longer even within the MC Hollywood's hard head will learn just what it means to have your brothers at your back.
And Talena has hidden her love or so she thinks. When her little hobby brings danger to her front door she knows Hollywood will help but at what cost? I love that Ms. Boon showed both Hollywood and Talena that their past relationship does not define them. As they learn to trust in themselves, their changing relationship and their friendships Hollywood and Talena grow even as danger surrounds them.

I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to Ms. Boon's Royal Sons series. She showed us a growing and changing relationship. She showed us bonds of friendship that are titanium strong. She made me laugh even as I fell in love all over again with the characters she created for us in this world.

Royally Chosen Christmas is the seventh book in the Royal Sons MC series. It was a short book and easy to read in one sitting. The characters were interesting.

While I enjoyed this steamy book, I found the story telling a bit choppy and disjointed.

The prologue tells of Scott/Hollywood as a Delta operative and Talena as a teenager living at home with her mother. Then it jumps to Scott being a MC member. But nothing in between. So many questions! If you are a newbie like me, you might wonder how Scott/Hollywood and Talena got involved with the Royal Bastards MC as this history was not told. Maybe it came up in previous books since this is book 7 in the Royal Sons MC series?

I had hoped for more development of Talena’s character. As it was, it seemed she was only a pining, younger step sister. But she was also a successful street racer. But how did she get into street racing? Did she work on her own cars? That would be badass!

I liked the camaraderie between the MC characters especially the brotherly sniping.

Not sure about the title reference to Christmas. The only scene in the book regarding Christmas was in the epilogue.

What a great addition to the Royal Sons MC. This story is packed with lots of action, suspense, twist and turns galore and of course steamy romance.

Hollywood is a special forces hero who lives for his brothers (both his team in the service and those in the Royal Sons MC). He is also close and very protective of his mother, little sister and step sister. While home on a quick leave he is hit with his step-sisters suicide and learns some shocking truths about his loving family.

This is a heartfelt gripping storyline that held me engrossed from start to finish with the suspenseful action as well as the lean towards BDSM steamy romantic storyline.

Grab this one up ASAP, you regret it.

Once I started this book it took me a little bit to get into it with the characters, for not having read the previous ones. I was approved for the one before this but had a problem with the download. Anyway, the story once I was able to get into it somewhat was able to hold my attention and I was able to follow along with the premise.
Hollywood is a former Delta Force operative but the author at times had him sounding like he regretted his time serving, at least to me. He has inherited his family’s company and with his friends also has protection. He is still dealing with the loss of his stepsister who killed herself after coming to him while he was still assigned to Delta. She was pregnant and needed his help when he turns her away, she did what she felt she had to do and then said protect their other sister. Meaning from the step farther. He also finds out that Talena is his adopted sister. He is later having to protect her. He does more after she tells him that she has always been in love with him. This is where the book or story takes a turn and becomes first a little BDSM and then a thriller in who is trying to kill her? A good fast read and full of action. With plenty of different characters.

A good MC Christmas story. This story had military, drama, suspense, angst and taboo with a little BDSM and plenty of steam. Overall great read that kept me entertained.

Alpha protective Hollywood/Scott faced danger on sniper missions in the military, now faces an even bigger challenge dealing with his growing attraction to his 23 year old adopted sister Talena.
Talena has always had feelings for her "big brother" and now those feelings are being reluctantly returned.

I really liked this steamy, dark and gritty MC romance. What a sexy read. It has just the hint of forbidden with also an age gap thrown in for good measure. You fall for the sexy Hollywood almost as soon as you open the book. There are plenty of smexy scenes in this book to keep you fanning yourself and a love story to make your heart swoon while the requisite danger and action in MC romances abounds.

Overall this was an enjoyable quick MC read that had me completely engaged.

ROYALLY CHOSEN CHRISTMAS is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and love. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the romance is spicy and hot; the characters are charismatic and captivating but saying that I did have a few issues. Firstly, as this is my first Royal Sons/Royal B*stards story line I felt a little lost having gone in unaware of the history or backstory of the members of the MC, including our story line hero therefore I strongly recommend reading the series in order. Secondly, the story felt disjointed in parts, jumping between scenes without build up. Thirdly, as this is promoted and titled a ‘Christmas’ story line, the holiday was never referenced until the very end-if it hadn’t been for the final chapter or two, I would have never known it was a Christmas story.

Ok so on a whole I really liked this story! Hollywood and Talena compliment each other and definitely have a chemistry that is there. I really loved Hollywood's character-he was definitely that alpha male with the protective streak a mile wide. Talena is this headstrong woman who is trying to find her way. I liked how she got her adrenaline rush and kinda wish there had been more done with that story line or just added on slightly. Who knows, maybe something with that will come later. My drawback with it-the whole brother sister thing. It threw me off that they still called each other that and then moved on to having a relationship. I can't say that even if I ever found out that my brother wasn't really my brother that I would be able to think of him as anything other than that. That could be just me though. If you completely disregard that though, on a whole it was a good read and I did enjoy their interactions with each other. I definitely would read it again and can't wait to read more in this series!

Royally Chosen is a holiday MC story. Scott, aka Hollywood, is on leave from the military when he finds out his sister is pregnant. He goes on to uncover serious family drama that end in tragedy. After dealing with his family, he has to leave to finish his time with the service.

Upon returning he joins an MC and reconnects with his other sister Talena. He has feelings for her that he has had for a long time and now that he is back he is ready to explore those.

Talena has looked up to him and loved him for a long time and when she finds herself in trouble, it is Hollywood who comes to the rescue.

Talena has gotten mixed up with street racing gangsters who intend to harm her for always winning races and taking their money.

After some serious drama, we find out some family mysteries and Scott and Talena can explore what they can be together.

I didn’t really enjoy that Scott had been with both his sisters, there was some time gaps in the book that I thought didn’t work, and mostly I didn’t think this was a christmas story at all.

It did have military, MC, hot and dirty sex scenes, and drama in a quick read.

This is an MC romance with a hint of taboo and forbidden that I couldn't get enough of. Hollywood and Talena are perfect together and the suspense, danger, and mystery had me unable to blink or put this down.

A love story with an edge. Hollywood is one of my favorite alpha men in this series. Talena was a refreshing change of pace from the usual female character. The chemistry is intense and the sex scenes are steamy. There is light BDSM but it isn't overpowering. When trouble comes, the brotherhood steps up. I am becoming very attached to these characters and I can't wait for Roq's story.

This is book seven in The Royal Sons C A series and it is Scott (Hollywood) and Talena's story. Scott was in the army and a delta force operative and also owns Haven Corp which he inherited from his father after he passed away but he has now retired and joined an MC but his ultimate goal is to keep him mum and step sister safe. Talena has been in love with Scott for a few years but she knows that as she is his step sister but not by blood he wouldn't see her as anything else other than her brother and protector but when Talena gets herself into danger it is Scott and his M C Brother's that help to protect her. Scott and Talena have such a strong connection and chemistry between them that you could feel it sizzling of the pages of the book but will they act on it. There are so many twists and turns and I couldn't put this book down as I loved the characters and storyline as it pulled you into the story right from the first and and it is so addictive. This is the first book that I have read by Elle Book but definitely not the last as it was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future.

Hollywood is Talena older brother but has strong feelings for her. Talena has crushed on Hollywood even more so finding out he's not related.
When a threat to Talena becomes apparent he takes the necessary steps to keep her safe.
Great story

I really don’t know how I feel about this story. I don’t want to give anything away. There’s fighting, sex, and surprises. Two people falling in love and some humor, and BDSM. I loved the characters and most of the storyline.

Scott/Hollywood joins the military and becomes a sniper with the Delta Force. On leave, his step sister commits suicide and his stepfather is killed in an airplane crash. Angela, the step sister, left a letter and pictures for Scott. He also found out his half sister, Talena, wasn’t his sister at all. Now years later he’s back and Talena has gotten herself into some trouble. Scott is a member of a motorcycle club and takes Talena to his place for safety reasons. She has a psycho after her and only Scott and his “brothers” are able to keep her safe.

Ok now about the brother/sister but not really sister situation. I think it was weird when Scott would refer to Talena as his sister. And they both would call their mother mom. I know technically she wasn’t his real sister but he thought she was until years later. Maybe it’s just me.

Hot Christmas MC

Scott/Hollywood was in Special Ops and is now a member of the Royal Sons MC. He was beyond sexy, loved his family with everything he had in him and was deadly. It’s a story of a family who has seen their fair share of tragedy and there are many secrets that are now coming out allowing Scott and his adoptive sister, Taleen, being able to share their true feelings for one another.

This is a dark, alpha biker story that takes you to the limits. It is full of some very, very hot chemistry. It was a great Christmas story with a loving family.
