It's a nice and informative book about how parents can prevent kids from having allergies, asthma and eczema. I'm ttc and I'll be using it as a companion. It talks about a friendly bacteria, and then about antibiotics. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

Thank you for eARC. I found this book to be very well-researched and interesting. As an asthmatic who suffered from eczema as a child I have a person connection to this topic. I do find it fascinating that the authors were able to make some changes to their lifestyle, diet, products they use etc. to help their daughter reduce her risk of developing asthma, eczema and allergies. I think as humans a lot of the time we feel helpless to change our health outcomes, but this book really shows how much what we eat and expose ourselves to daily affects our gut microbiomes, our skin, our immune systems, our brains, and ultimately our future children. I would recommend this book to all expectant parents, but also anyone who is just trying to learn more about improving their own health.
