I have read so many books by Leslie North that I have lost count of them all. Some are better than others, but they all are good. The Billionaire's Christmas Son is another excellent second chance romance by Ms. North and she does this trope very well. Very enjoyable holiday read. Thank you NetGalley for an advance copy! 4 stars
Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained.
The Billionaire's Christmas Son by Leslie North was engaging exciting and a cozy romance to read. Having read the previous two books in the series I was pretty interested to know Jonas's Story who is the eldest brother and also the CEO of the Elk lodge
Jonas Elkin is surprised by when he meets the photographer he has hired for taking the family pictures during Christmas. She is Rachel Alexander, a one night stand three years back who has not left his mind and heart but he had no way to connect with her. The always in control eldest sibling among the Elkin brothers is no more in control of his heart and the events around him when he realizes that the baby with Rachel is his son.
The entire story about the bonding between Rachel, Jonas and their son is a sweet little romantic story that will warm your heart. The play of circumstances, the secrecy and the love of family is all well portrayed.
I loved the third book in the series. I would recommend this story to all the romantic fiction lovers.
I thank the author, Relay publishing and Netgalley for providing me an e ARC of the book and the opinions expressed are my own.
This wasn't for me for one main reason. I could not stand Rachel. Everything about her irritated me and so I found it incredibly difficult to finish this when basically every other chapter is written from her perspectives and the ones that aren't are solely focused on her from Jonas's perspective.
She is ungrateful, rude, and untrusting. She never takes responsibility for anything. Throws hissy fits on multiple occasions throughout and then despite nothing having changed she comes to her senses and takes Jonas up on his offer. Now, I think she should have always been accepting of Jonas and none of her anger towards him is valid in any way, but I would have at least gained a little respect for her character if she had stuck to her guns on her opinions rather than just changing because that's what the plot dictated.
As for Jonas, his plot was slightly more interesting but still generally kind of dull. There was no chemistry between them other than the occasional sentence describing their instant attraction to each other 3 years prior which we don't get to experience as the reader. The only thing that connects them in any way is their son and it's not fun to read, if anything it's slightly uncomfortable because of how forced it feels. And it's very ironic considering Rachel's hatred for toxic relationships.
This was a disappointing conclusion to what had been a decent series by Leslie North. I obviously don't recommend this, but the others in the series weren't bad if you wanted a sexy Christmas pick me up with A LOT more chemistry than this.

This is the third book in the Elkin brothers series. It can be read as a stand alone book, but I read the first two and it seems to make this book more enjoyable knowing the backstories on everyone else in the family.
Jonas and Rachel had a one night stand three years ago and didn't even get each other's names that night. Fast forward to today when Jonas has a photographer arriving at the ski resort to take family portraits - something he desperately wants since his Grandmother has a terminal illness. Jonas arranged for the photographer to spend a week at the resort taking all sorts of photos of the family and Jonas intends to give this as his gift to each family member. But he especially wants many shots of his Grandmother. The photographer had to cancel at the last minute and recommended someone else, Rachel. Imagine Jonas' surprise when Rachel shows up and he recognizes her? Imagine Rachel's surprise when she realizes Jonas' family actually owns the resort where she and Jonas had their one night together? And imagine Jonas' surprise when he realizes the 2 year old child she brought with her is actually his son?
This book is cute - typical Leslie North fashion. Easy to read; can read it all in a day; maybe all the loose ends tie up a bit too easily to be realistic; and not much drama. Leslie North is an author that I frequently turn to in order to get out of my reading rut.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.
The Billionaire's Christmas Son by Leslie North is a twist on your typical story...gorgeous, wealthy man has one night stand with poor, lonely girl who was at a resort after she dumped her fiance right before her wedding, but this one has a twist...she winds up pregnant. When she is asked to step in as a photographer for the family that owns the inn that it happened at, she is dismayed to find out it's HIS family that owns the inn, of course she had no idea. Eventually he finds out that her son is his and you can figure out what happens next.
A nice Christmas story, a good escape from what has been going on over the past 10 months and an enjoyable read, predictable but pleasant. Where were all these good looking, rich guys when I was in my early 20s???
Thank you to the author, Relay Publishing and Netgalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.
Cute Christmas romance with a second chance romance and a son that the billionaire never knew was his.
Title: The Billionaire’s Christmas Son
Author: Leslie North
Rating: 5-stars
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!!
Our hero Jonas and heroine Rachel had a one-night stand 3-years ago at a resort. Rachel ended up pregnant but had no idea who Jonas was or how to contact him. Fast forward and Rachel has been hired as a last minute fill in photographer for Jonas and his family. His Grandmother has cancer, and he wants photos of the holiday season in case she is not around for festivities next year. They realize they already know each other, but Rachel does not fill Jonas in (yet) about her son, who is also his son.
From there you experience a few twists and turns in the story, just the right amount of angst in my opinion (don’t you hate it when authors just TORTURE their characters before giving them a happily every after?! Fear not, Ms. North doesn’t do that to you here!). And of course, you get your happily ever after at the end of the story (not to mention a sweet epilogue with another baby and engagement!).
This is the third story in a series, and I did not (yet!) read the other two books, but had no trouble following the plot. I enjoyed this so much I intend to purchase the other two books and add them to my TBR pile. I read around New Years, but they story kept me in the festive spirit and was an engaging read. It is light-hearted, fun, and romantic. If you want an easy read that is like a steamy Hallmark movie, this is a book for you.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Jonas discovers his son that he didn't know he had. Jonas is dealing with his grandmother's illness and worrying that finding out he has a son will hurt her. He asks Rachel to keep his secret, but with all secrets things have a way of coming out. Love wins in the end
The Billionaire's Christmas Son was a charming read that I enjoyed. Rachel is a single mom to her son Scott who was the product of a one night stand. Turns out that one night stand was with billionaire Jonas Elkin who owns and runs the lodge and they both still have feelings for each other. When the two reconnect while Rachel is shooting family photographs for the Elkin family, drama from both Jonas and Rachel's family ensues as does the old and very much not forgotten feelings between the 2 main characters.
I love a good second chance relatioinship and the rekindling of Jonas and Rachel's relationship is a sweet, slow burn romance. I also appreciated the relationship between Rachel and her mother, as it helped me understand why Rachel was so hesitant to allow herself the opportunity to find love. The best scenes were the ones between Scott and Jonas. You could feel the love that Jonas has for his son and the way Ms. North described those interactions made Jonas' emotions leap out of the pages.
I was disappointed in the way Jonas' family treated Rachel and Jonas when they found about Scott. I felt that as head of the family, Jonas deserved more respect than that. That goes to show you however how invested I was in these characters and that is a testament to the author's story. Overall I enjoyed The Billionaire's Christmas Son and I loved the happily ever after that Jonas and Rachel were given.
A quick and easy Christmas read. Three brothers, each finding their true loves. This one is Jonas's story. He is the solid one, who runs the ski resort. When he hired a photographer he never expected it to be Rachel, his one night stand from several years ago. Guess what? She has a 2 year old son who looks just like him. Predictable story, but did keep my interest to the end. Would recommend.
The Billionaire's Christmas Son is the third book in North's Elkin Brothers series. We get to see Jonas' HEA. This is a really quick read and sucks you right in the story. I liked the positive response Jonas had when he found out he had a son and how he learned there is more to life than running the Elin Lodge. Rachel also had a nice story arc where she learned to trust and stand up for herself. I would recommend reading the first two books just because it will add more to the story but it isn't totally necessary.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. All spelling and grammar errors are totally my own.
This is the second book I've read by this author and I'm definitely going to read more. Excellent job done here. I absolutely loved it.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the third in a series. This is Jonas's story. He is the oldest son. He hires a photographer Rachel. Hmmm drama ensues. I must say Rachel's mom is crazy!! More drama! Rachel runs away, more drama. Then happy ever after lol. I actually enjoyed this one. I liked the characters of Jonas and Rachel. Plus it's a quick read as always. 4 stars
What a delightful pre Christmas read this was. Full of love, hope, family and commitment, this book made me smile.
I have read many books by this author and have found the easy reading style of hers fabulous to sit back and snuggle on the lounge with.
This book was no different. Rachel has a one night stand and falls pregnant. She brings her two year old son back to the hotel where it all began only to meet up with the father of Scott.
The rest of the book is definitely smile worthy. And like other Leslie North books; there is a happy ending
Beautiful read

This was way better than the previous ones and thank god it was because Jonas was my favorite brother since book 1.
I really liked that this wasn't so insta lovey like the rest of the previous books and that Rachel had a life apart from Jonas. Scott was so adorable!!! I could read about him forever.
Over-all an absolutely adorable read.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review
The Billionaire’s Christmas Son
Elkin Brothers Christmas Book Two by Leslie North
Billionaire Jonas Elkin is the golden boy CEO of Elkin Lodge winter playground for the rich and privileged. He decides to fulfill the dying wish of his grandmother and to create a family album and hires a photographer to carry out the task of creating it but she has to work during the Christmas holidays. When Rachel arrives Jonas get the biggest surprise as he discovers she is someone from his past and they have a son he knows nothing about and then the story starts to get interesting.
A well written book taking place over the festive period with beautiful scenery and feisty characters all rolled into the mix to make a lovely story for the holidays.
The third and best of this series. This book centers around Jonas, who is the oldest and most reserved of the clan and Rachel, who’s one night stand with a stranger, turns into a family addition. This has story drama, angst, romance, steam and a cute kiddo. Add this to your HEA list.
This was the third book in the series i have read, thoroughly enjoyed as much if not more than the past 2 books. Loved the character development of not only the main characters but also the characters of the previous books
I received an ARC via netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
That was boring to say the least.
The characters were so devoid of emotions, the dialogues were so basic and monotonous, the storyline was so forced and so bad developed.
The book felt like the author just wrote it out of obligation.
I didn't enjoy it one bit.
