We were ecstatic to get access to this title because my early reader is obsessed with Mo Willems. Pigeon, Elephant, & PIggie are daily beacons in our reading piles.

Elephant & Piggie bring a delightful playfulness to the story in their signature fashion. It's bright, colorful, fun, simple but rewarding. The story of Goat and Frog is a nice read about opposites (on, off, over, under, etc.). The book says target age group is 5-8 but I would place it more around 4-6 due to it's basic simplistic style (not an insult). The average 7/8 year would likely find this a bit juvenile for their liking. Overall, it was a fun and visually silly book.

That being said, the story doesn't standalone (for us) as something that would be memorable. When asking for my child's reaction, she asked, "what book was that again? The one with Elephant & Piggie? I like them!". This is notable to me because we just read it about 2 days ago and she has a voracious book appetite. If one catches her attention, she reads it over and over again. She has not asked to re-read this one since our first read through. She did immediately go get her Elephant & Piggie anthologies though.

It's hard to say whether the Mo Willems' endorsement helped or hurt the book excitement for my nearly-5 year old. Certainly, it increased her giddiness and desire to read it. But, I can't help but wonder if she would've been more long-lasting interested if it had been on its own - not tied to her all-time favorite collection of stories. Unfortunately, this was forgettable when held up to the expectation that Gerald & PIggie bring to the plate.

I have really enjoyed the different easy readers coming out of the Mo Willems' imprint. This one is fun and funny. I appreciate easy books that talk about directions, a hard concept for many children. The illustrations are cute and fun. I think young readers will enjoy the silliness as well.

Another hit in a great series! This time it’s all about prepositions and a competitiveness between friends. Very cute.

Yes! A joy to read. Goat constantly tries to outdo himself and friend frog plays along—until it’s too much for frog. A fun story about friendship and play.

Cute story incorporating the lovable characters Elephant and Piggie. I read this book with my two daughters ages 5 and 8. We all think that the story is cute and the illustrations go very well with the story. Goat and Frog keep trying to outdo each other until they can't anymore. This is a great book for teaching position words.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book for my honest opinion.

I love anything from Mo Willems, so thanks to NetGalley I was able to read this book in advance for an honest review.

This was such a fun story! I am a HUGE fan of Mo Willems’ Elephant and Piggy series, so when I saw this was an Elephant and Piggy recommendation, I just had to read it! It can be used at home or at school to teach children directional words (on, over, far, near, etc.). Goat and Frog’s antics will make kids laugh and giggle! Can’t wait to see this translated in French so I can acquire it for our library collection!

I had never heard of Andrea Tsurumi before, will definitely look up her other books now!

I’m On It! will be published on May 11th, 2021.

This is a cute, fun, and engaging book for early readers. It's sure to be loved by those who like Elephant and Piggy, though this book involves two different but equally funny animal characters.
Many thanks to Hyperion Books for Children and NetGalley for the advance copy.

An amazing and perfect addition to the Elephant & Piggie Like Reading! Fantastic and just right for beginning readers, especially those gaining confidence. My first grader and I read this with smiles on our face the entire time. Prepositions, repetition, and humor will easily make this a favorite to read and reread.

Another winner from Elephant & Piggie Presents teaching concepts such as near, far, close, on,etc. Andrea Tsurumi’s illustrations are expressive and capture the ever increasing alarm & delight of both characters.

A funny tale that will be great at teaching children directional words. On, over, under, through, far, near, etc. I think this will be a story kids read and laugh at again and again.

Read this book to my 4 year old today and enjoyed it very much. A couple chuckles came out while reading about the adventures of goat & frog. Think it was a bit difficult to follow all the directional adjectives in the book, but it was comical nonetheless.

What a fun, giggle inducing book for toddlers and preschoolers. Goat and frog have fun demonstrating over, under, in, on, above, below, etc., with an ever growing stack of playful objects. (Thx to publisher and netgalley for preview.)

This book was received as an ARC from Disney Publishing Worldwide - Hyperion Books for Children in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved this book! I am a huge fan of Elephant and Piggy and most of our young community is too and I know this will be a great book for kindergarten and preschoolers to learn all about opposites. The illustrations as always were brilliantly done and the children will love them! This should be a book in every kindergarten classroom, library children's section and every bookshelf of families with young readers. I can see this book being featured on a future storytime and the young readers will be smiling ear to ear.

We will consider adding this title to our JReader collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

I'm On It! is a fun book teaching kids spacial awareness. Of course having Piggy and Gerald intro the book is always fun. My 5 yr old son loved the book as I read it to him and he giggled along with the craziness that goat and frog got into.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. All spelling and grammar errors are totally my own.
