I always love the Buzz Books guide. I spent the afternoon going through each new upcoming book and read several of the excerpts. There’s a lot of great books coming out!!
A preview of the best of the new books for the season and it's FREE!
Fiction is broken down into categories such as Notables (Kazuo Ishiguro's KLARA AND THE SUN, Jhumpa Lahiri's WHEREABOUTS, and Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeny's GOOD COMPANY); Highly Anticipated (Marie Benedict, Victoria Christopher Murray's THE PERSONAL LIBRARIAN, Joshua Henkin's MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, and Imbolo Mbue's HOW BEAUTIFUL WE WERE); Emerging Voices; (Will Dean's THE LAST THING TO BURN, Charles Martin's THE LETTER KEEPER, and Flynn Berry's NORTHERN SPY); a very long list of Debut authors; and Commercial Fiction including Linwood Barclay, David Baldacci, Alafair Burke, Harlan Coben, Jean Hanff Korelitz, and Nora Roberts. A whole range of non-fiction categories are included as well as several Young Adult titles.
There are so many enticing new titles and authors in the Spring/Summer edition, that although I tried to be selective, it remains to be seen whether I was successful. I've requested a number of titles already!
First introduced for the 2012 Book Expo America, the FREE digital Publishers Lunch Buzz Books has become the place for both industry professionals and book lovers in general to discover and read about the books expected to spark high demand BEFORE they are published!
What's really great is that after many selections, you have the option to follow a link and request the complete galley copy from Net Galley if you qualify as a 'professional' reader.
Check out Buzz Books on Amazon. Did I mention it's FREE!
I look forward to every Buzz Books’ edition and this one is a treasure trove, filled with enticing new releases. Ah, my TBR pile is growing!

Thanks to the author, Publishers Lunch BUZZ BOOKS, and NetGalley for the ARC, in exchange for my honest review.
I absolutely LOVE it when these previews come out! There are so many good books coming out soon that I had to take notes and write dates on my calendar so I don't request too many at the same time.
I look forward to seeing this every time it is released. I love reading about books that will be soon released, because it helps me stay informed for our customers. Even if they aren't always books I'd personally read, it's nice to have the information to share with others.
Loved this! Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the sneak preview of 2021 Spring/Summer Buzz Books.
I always love reading excerpts of all the upcoming books. Thank you Buzz Books and NetGalley! Can’t wait to dive in!

I've been wondering when the next Buzz Books advert collection would come out, and I am so happy it is here. I love the chance to preview so many of the new and exciting titles on Netgalley.
This is a wonderful compilation of upcoming releases along with previews of a number of the books. Thank you for my copy!! I can't write more because I need to start requesting some books! LOL.
I always look forward to this (free!) publication. It lists so many books that will be coming out over the coming months. Everything is here from debut fiction to literary titles to commercial fiction, non-fiction and more. Plus, there are generous excerpts from a number of upcoming titles. One that I am really looking forward to is Marie Benedict’s novel about the librarian for the Morgan Library.
Read this one with a pad of paper or device close by so that you can jot down the titles that you want to remember.. I guarantee that there will be quite a few.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.
So many great books coming out in 2021! I'm looking forward to reading many of them. Thanks for an opportunity to look through all these previews.

I loved these Buzz Books samplers! They offer the perfect snippets into a few of the new books being released this year!
Thank you for the opportunity to preview these books. I always look forward to the buzz book releases.
I love these Buzz Books previews! This one was as excellent as usual. These previews are so informative, and I always end up putting way too many of the books listed on my ever-growing to-read list. I also especially like the snippets from the actual forthcoming books, and this time I especially enjoyed those from The Paper Palace, Northern Spy (I have loved Berry's previous novels), The Night Always Comes, and The Personal Librarian -- all of which (and many more) have been added to my to-read list. I look forward to the next issue!
The Buzz Books by Publishers Lunch is the best way to learn about upcoming publications, whether it's returning authors, debut novels, nonfiction writing, or whatever. As a contributor to a newspaper and blog, I look forward to Buzz Books to help me plan out a review calendar. Thank you, Publishers Lunch, for always being up to date with the latest in the literary world.
Even if BEA is gone it's nice to still be able to get samples of the new season's buzz books in one place! Thanks to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for the download.
