I am so happy to have found this publication. I love that it affords me the opportunity to preview so many of the upcoming releases for Spring & Summer of 2021. I’ve added quite a few to my wish list and TBR’s. It looks like this season will be filled with good reads. Thank you Netgalley and Buzz Books.

The anthology collecting a massive surfeit of books being published this Spring/Summer is also massively helpful to choose what new books to look for. I myself am looking forward to After Francesco by Brian Malloy and Yes, Daddy by Jonathan Parks-Ramage.

Buzz Books always reveals the upcoming books to look out for. I’m particularly intrigued by what looks to a very funny "Seven Years in June" by Tia Williams. (Who doesn’t need funny in COVID times?) I also want to read "After Francesco" by Brian Malloy and "When the Stars Rain Down" by Angela Jackson-Brown. And I’m having to admit publicly that I’ve never read anything by the queen of the legal thriller, Lisa Scottoline, but I’m going to fix that with her upcoming "Eternal".

Three debuts look very promising: "The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot" by Marianne Cronin, "The Lamplighters" by Emma Stonex, and especially "The Very Nice Box" by Eva Gleichman and Laura Blackett. And while I don’t read much YA, I will be reading "The Last Fallen Star" by Graci Kim.

Thank you, Buzz Books, for keeping us sane in the time of a pandemic.

The Buzz Books by Publishers Lunch is a fantastic resource to keep track of upcoming publications, and to discover debut authors/new releases that I might otherwise never have heard of! My TBR is certain to grow exponentially thanks to resources like this.

Very informative and lots of new books to look forward to, including ones from Juliana Marguiles as well as literary greats like Murakami and Ishiguro!

This is the first edition of Buzz Books I have read, and I loved it! I had not heard of them before, but now that I have, I will read every one. I love that I have the opportunity to read a preview of a book so that I can determine whether I want to read the full galley. Additionally, since I can only read so many books, this gives me the opportunity to get a feel for a book to help with recommendations for our library's patrons.

Thank you, NetGalley for making Buzz Books available!

Great to have as usual. It’s great to be able to read snippets of books that are coming out so I can preview them before I order them for our library. I so appreciate the creation of these books.

As I've come to expect, this is an excellent compilation of book summaries to give the reader a head's up about what to read next. My only regret is I missed it earlier in the year, so some of the books I would have requested for review are already published. No worries, that simply means I'll need to pick them up at my local bookstore or library. Thanks again for an excellent book on books and thanks to Publisher's Lunch and NetGalley for making it available.

I always look forward to this publication! I like the summaries and the excerpts, as I see what books to put on my TBR list, or not. I appreciate the effort it takes to compile this. This reader thanks you!

Always a super helpful tool in building out my 2021 must read lists! I always end up finding so much info on great titles coming - and it is fantastic to get eyes on incredible debut authors that weren't yet on my radar.

It's not you, it is me. The problem is me.
I'm a rare person compared to others who have reviewed Buzz Books 2021:Spring/Summer.
I read chapters from a few books in Buzz Books; some I liked. I requested a few or put on a wish list if I couldn't request it. My requests weren't fulfilled ..... now the problem with me is my age and my impatience. When I want to read something, I want to read it NOW.
The best books ever come straight from Netgalley!

I really enjoy reading every issue of Buzz Books because every time I find many interesting books to add to my TBR. In this edition of Buzz Books 2021 : Spring/Summer I discovered books that had heard and after reading an excerpt from it I added it immediately to my TBR. I also found books that I didn't know but I look forward to learn more about them and read them.

I love love LOVE YA books but I always find it hard to find new ones that still resonate with me...even though I'm no longer a YA lol. This sampler gave such a good sneak peek of some new YA books.

Each quarter, publishing houses release a catalogue of forthcoming releases. Publisher’s Lunch combs through each of these and finds the best of the best for debut authors, the most anticipated releases, hot commercial fiction, and more. What comes out of that effort is Buzz Books: a superbly well-crafted compendium of titles. I look forward to the release of the newest Buzz Books because, while I also comb through my favorite publishing house’s catalogues for titles, I consider Buzz Books to be a supplemental catalogue all its own. I use Buzz Books to confirm my own suspicions about which books should be highly anticipated, which debut authors are worthy of a read, and which titles I had suspected could be best-sellers. I also use it to help me discover authors or titles from publishing houses I don’t normally follow closely. Buzz Books helps me find what could be my next great read. It is well worth even a small perusal, even if you only explore it for the book excerpts.

As always, a great collection of upcoming books. I did enjoy the old format of the collection, one for adult books, one for young adult books a little bit more, so I can't help but hope that in the future the two age groups would be separated. All in all my TBR just got bigger.
