Sometimes one needs to step out of their reading comfort zone and dip their toe into uncharted waters. For me, it was dipping my toe into the erotica pond.

Come Together is the third installment of the Club Silken series and my very first novel from the erotica genre. I must say that all of my perceptions about erotica novels went out the door. I was pleasantly surprised that the erotica genre is so much more — with actual plots, not just hot steamy scenes.

Being the third installment of the Club Silken series, I probably missed out on some details that were introduced in the prior novels. Nevertheless, you can probably deduce, by way of inference, what occurred in the past between Taylor and Chelsea.

In Come Together, Taylor and Chelsea have reconnected and their relationship blossoms. Taylor, who has experienced the club scenes in Europe, slowly introduces Chelsea to the world of BDSM. But their relationship is more than just lust. Taylor and Chelsea find that they have a unique chemistry between them. And that chemistry is what will take their relationship to the next level.

I’ve rated Come Together three stars. I liked it, but I don’t think that I will continue my exploration into the erotica genre.

I received a digital copy of the book from Jerrie Alexander through NetGalley. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

I loved the first two books in the Club Silken series. The alphas, the women, the connection, the dirty, gritty, BDSM club sex. That’s actually the best part. Watching, reading, picturing these “hard” alpha men but getting to see their softer, romantic, lovingly jealous sides at the same time. This third book, Come Together, fell a little short for me. Taylor wasn’t an alpha in the way I love my possessive men. Now, that may be my own warped inner messed up mind. (No judgements, right?!?) Taylor was too soft, he was awkward, and their sex seemed...I don’t know...just off. Chelsea seemed even more awkward. Their conversations were forced and random. I just didn’t feel their connection like I did with the other couples.

I loved the glimpses of Morgan and Kayla and we also got to see a little of Zach and Nick. The story had a good mix of past characters and a glimpse into(what I hope to be) a few new ones.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I finished the book and finished it quickly. I am a series reader. I get very invested in side characters, well let's face it, all characters. Once I meet them, I NEED to know what happens to them. So, I will keep reading this series as long as it continues. My curiosity is already peaked about Slider and Gabriel.

Jerrie Alexander's Come Together is the 3rd book in the series. We read about Chelsea Coffman, one of the 3 gal pals from the recent books and the limo driver, Taylor Horne, who has just returned after a year in Europe. When they meet each other again after Taylor's year away, they are totally smitten by each other and we do not go through chapters of a slow burn: they do it. Right. Away. Thank you Jerrie! Thank you very much!

Though Taylor is the guy who educates Chelsea on the ways of BDSM, she's not taught as much as her friends were taught in the previous book; we get the sense that Chelsea learned through them already. The story is actually "cuter" than the previous books and you'll just have to read it to see for yourself. I found that they talked more, got to know each other, and daaaaang Taylor takes care of Chelsea in such an endearing way that I was left swooning for him!

I thought the first book was my favourite, especially with the meet cute in that one, but I have to say that this one just might be my new favourite one in the series.

Taylor and Chelsea literally bump into each other at a return party for Taylor. He received his Masters degree and took a year off to tour Europe.
They had met prior to him leaving and both were Interested in each other. After the party, they hook up and neither are sure where it will lead.
I love the story, Chelsea discovers a new lifestyle of dom and sub, her past experiences were negative.
Not to mention the hot and steamy sex scenes, Jerrie never disappoints in that department!

Thank you to the Publisher and Netgalley for a free advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Come Together by Jerrie Alexander is the third book in the Club Silken Series and it definitely came together in the hottest way possible! With Taylor, the club’s driver back in town after being away for a little bit, Chelsea runs into him again at a welcome back party for him. What follows is a sexy, steamy, romantic and hot love story! This book had more of the story of how they actually fell in love versus The prior book for Nick and Kayla’s story. I appreciated that but still had just as intense scenes that make your imagination go wild! I can’t express enough how excited I was to get this through NetGalley from the publisher and am definitely looking forward to Slider’s story next after that little snippet and tease at the end...

This is my third book by Jerrie Alexander, so I knew what to expect. Even so, it is fascinating how she find new angles and new questions to explore. Chelsea is the most down-to-earth of the three friends. She is also the most committed to staying 'vanilla'. Can gorgeous Taylor, who used to be Zak's driver, persuade her open herself to new experiences, while still retaining her freedom of choice at all times? Chelsea is to discover that there are some thingsin her career that she doesn't have full control of and she can either get frustrated with it or think hard about what she values and what brings her most happiness.

Now it's Chelsea's turn of the three BFFs to find her Dom. I was expecting it to be Slider, but no Taylor is perfect for her. Even though Chelsea is newbie there was not the overload of beginner BDSM information. I loved how their relationship developed into the basics and love.

Now this girl for Slider...idk she seems very, very green for him. I hope there will be a book 5 with Gabriel.
