This was a fun read but I feel like the patternes weren’t that detailed and explained how to do it but I liked all the pictures and figures a lot

This is a good book for beginners or children. The basics of crochet are easy to follow and the photo illustrations clear. The projects remind me of the 1970’s and are a bit old fashioned. That’s okay for a learner but I wouldn’t rush out to buy materials to make anything in the book. But I would recommend it for a complete beginner.

Creative crochet projects is a fun crochet book with 12 lovely crochet craft projects to play around with and have fun. I loved the children's crafts and thought they were fantastic fun ideas. I really want to have a go at the scarf and the kitchen play mat idea!
The instructions seem clear, simple and easy to follow.
I'm fairly new to crochet so I will update my review once I have attempted to make one of the projects in the book.

This book had a great introduction of tools/supplies needed, basic stitches, and then included many fun projects! From little toys, to hats, to scarves, I think anyone could find at least one project they would enjoy. A great hobby to learn and pick up during quarantine!

This is a book I requested from NetGalley and the review is voluntary. This book is made for beginners but I would suggest it would not be for beginners who have never picked up a hook or yarn before or those that have never read crochet directions before. It might be confusing. I would suggest a beginner with several completed articles under their belt or intermediate users.
The 12 projects are perfect to make for the young ones in your life either as a gift or just because! They are bright and unique! The costume of an owl wrap is adorable. The roll up stove and sink complete with soap, and bubbles, burners for the stove is so cute! Much cheaper than a big, plastic stove. The food is stitched together so the hamburger doesn't loose all the extras! Very clever indeed!
Kids will certainly enjoy this soft, colorful world!

A super fun how to crotchet book. Not your ordinary projects. Lots of fun ideas and inspiration, plus good pictures.

Fantastic. Although the instructions are in America there is enough detail for the English crochet-er to get through. I love the Owl hoodie with wings and am definitely going to try my hand at the hotdog!

Honestly, the book delivers exactly what it says it does. Can not wait to crochet the burger bunting, though I really just want it as a scarf.

These are really fun crochet patterns that make items very different from the baby blankets that are what I always thought of as crochet (although crocheted afghans are great in their own way). It will appeal to anyone who wants to try something a little different!

This book has a dozen creative crochet projects and good color instructions. I can't say I really feel a need to have a crocheted hot dog or hamburger, so it's of limited value to me personally, though there were a couple of projects that appealed to me. It could be a great fit for younger crafters.

This cute crochet book gives clear instructions, simple descriptions, and has adorable patterns that I look forward to trying out.

This book has a good selection of crochet patterns for beginners to intermediate crocheters, including clothing accessories and play items. Also included are basic stitches and equipment needed. I haven’t tried any of the patterns yet so can’t comment on them, but a quick look tells me they are understandable.

In addition to the basics, like stitch types and equipment needed, this book has some fun patterns. If used in conjunction with video ‘how to’s for a visual on the different stitches, if needed, I think a beginner might be successful I’m creating the projects.

Cute book. I would definitely recommend the paper edition. It would be very beneficial to be able to put a magnetic board behind the page you are on with a flat magnet to mark your place. In my opinion this book is a little more advanced. It does give really good instructions.

I have to say I love this one! Most crochet books are all the same, but this has a lot of very unique patterns. I can't wait to pull out the yarn and try some of these.

I haven’t thought to crochet in more than a year. However, after this book I am ready to try a couple of new projects.
