I requested this for Melissa Ferguson's novella, and it was just as enjoyable as I thought it would be!

A huge thanks to Thomas Nelson for my e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This Time Around is three novellas if I must say myself by three great authors about second chance romance and yes they may have changed my mind regarding second chance romance.

The first book in the story A Summer Detour by Denise Hunter. This book tells the story of free-spirited Allie Adams who voluntarily signs up to go on a road trip to surprise her grandparents with a newly restored Chevy ahead of the party. She enlists the help of the guy that broke her heart. It was the sweetest second-chance romance.

Pining for Youby Melissa Ferguson is a cozy novella set in a mountain town and Theo who has the best job ever (he is a Christmas tree farm owner *read it and call me out*). He goes on a mission that only he can do that is to win the heart of his childhood sweetheart.

The last novella is He Loves Me; He loves me not by Kathleen Fuller is a never too late to find love type of novella about thirty-five-year-old Sophie Morgan who decides it's now time to find love. Cue the confetti because she ends up with more than one suitor.

All the novellas are swoon-worthy and totally ideal for a summer night or rainy day

I'd like to thank Netgalley and Thomas Nelson for providing this ARC for an honest review.

This was a set of three short romance novella's. The first two short stories are a second chance at love and the third is sort of a friends to lover. If you like clean romances then you are in for a real treat. Each story can be read in just a couple hours which I enjoyed. All three authors were new to me so this was a perfect way to get to know them. Denise Hunter's story was probably my favorite just because there was some lol moments and I love romcom books. Great to add to your summer reading list.

This Time Around by Denise Hunter; Melissa Ferguson; Kathleen Fuller is a delightful collection of stories by three popular authors that will keep you turning pages to the end. In each story, love finds a way to conquer every obstacle which enters its path and there are happy endings all around. Although predictable, they are fun stories which would make great vacation or beach reads.

Thank you to Thomas Nelson--FICTION, the authors and NetGalley for an ARC of this collection in exchange for my honest review. No hearts will be broken here! :)

This is a sweet collection of second chance romances. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. In 'A Summer Detour', the story is about neighbors that had a secret romance when they were young. They have avoided each other until Allie reaches out for help to Luke to help deliver a surprise for her grandparents’ 50th anniversary. I didn't care much for this story. I found most of the characters were immature and the romance at times was a little too sweet. In 'Pining for You' Skye hasn't seen Theo in fourteen years since they broke up. With her father unable to take care of Theo's family tree farm, Theo tries to help Skye to take care of the farm and reconnect with Skye. I enjoyed the humor in this sweet romance. The last story ' He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not' is my favorite. Neither Sophie nor Joe have had a date in years. They have know each other since kindergarten, but have never really thought of dating. This is another good story with interesting characters, humor, and a sweet romance.

This group of three Christian romance novellas is a fun, quick read of second chances and late starts to dating.
I have read Denise Hunter's books and always enjoy them. This was a mini visit back to North Georgia and the town of Copper Creek in A Summer Detour. A trip to Pennsylvania for Allie's grandparents' 50th anniversary gives Allie and Luke a chance to spend time together and maybe heal their broken relationship. I liked Luke and wanted to shake Allie at times although her parents were partly to blame.
This is the first time that I have read Melissa Ferguson. Like Denise's story, Pining for You is a story about Skye and Theo, a couple who broke up years ago and are now thrown together by circumstances.
They are in a position to mend their differences from the past. However, there are a lot of misunderstandings and hurts to overcome. Can it happen?
In Kathleen Fuller's He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not, we visit Maple Falls, Arkansas (from Hooked On You) where Sophie, owner of a flower shop, and Joe, high school teacher and coach, have known each other since kindergarten but aren't friends. Both are ready for a relationship that might lead to marriage. Can they get together? They certainly have a rough start. This was probably my favorite of the three stories because I liked both characters and it was fun to watch their relationship progress.
I received a complimentary ARC from Thomas Nelson Publishers and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine only.

A Summer Detour- Sheesh, she's not stupid!

Where's his dad?

She left her family to escape a boy.

Pining for You- That's just creepy.

Dang, Maggie doesn't play around.

Masochist.

I love that part.

Yeesh, five girls?

Nice apology.

He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not-Oh no! That will end a date for sure. Idiot boys.

Plot twist.

Two months, huh.

Short and sweet trio of tales. Second chance at romance. A quick and pleasant reading adventure. Enjoyed the first one the most, probably due to the car and the raccoon. Gramps hearing problem was also a little too relatable. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.

If you are looking for a beach read, a lazy afternoon escape, or just a happy ending, you’ll enjoy This Time Around. I reviewed this book, of three romances, because I love Denise Hunter’s stories. And she did not disappoint. A Summer Detour is delightful and fun as Allie and Luke try to get the star of the story, a ’57 Chevy, to her grandparents’ party. Melissa Ferguson's story, Pining for You, made me laugh as Skye and Theo, very opposite people, attempt to get to know one another again. Kathleen Fuller entertained with Sophie and her jump back into the dating world in He Loves Me; He Loves Me Not. Each author has a unique voice and a charming story to tell. Grab this three-in-one and sit back and enjoy. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Allie and Luke. I love second chance romance and their story was right to my ally. Their chemistry was so sweet! You could tell they loved each other but obstacles and misunderstandings got in their way!

Pinning for You
Theo and Skye were so sweet! You could feel the love for each other! I loved Skye’s family… they really made this book that much better!

He loves me he loves me not
Joe and Sophie were adorable! Landon, not so much! They were both trying to win her love and I am happy she chose the right guy!

Quick sweet reads for anyone who is a romantic at heart!

This adorable collection of clean and sweet romance stories will appeal to anyone who prefers their romances to be clean and not chocked full of objectionable content. I was initially drawn to this one as a huge fan of Denise Hunter's stories, and the fact that I absolutely loved the adorable cover. I really ended up enjoying this one for the most part, and am glad I took the time to go ahead and read it.

Each romance is fairly quick, but two are second chance romances which helped speed things up, and the final story revolves around two people who grew up together but had never thought about each other romantically. I thought each story brought its own unique spin to the collection, and my favorite ended up being the last story written by Kathleen Fuller then Denise's and finally Melissa Ferguson's, which I didn't end up enjoying quite as much as the other two. I found her characters and their subsequent romance didn't really appeal to me the way that the other two stories did, and I didn't feel quite as invested in that particular story.

Each story is unique however, and I enjoyed the corresponding settings (a road trip, a Christmas tree farm and a flower shop in a small town), and the well developed and quirky cast of characters that rounds out each individual story.

I really ended up enjoying this heartwarming collection, and I loved that this it was a fairly quick read but still had plenty of substance to offers its readers.

Definitely go ahead and pick this one up if you're a fan of sweet and clean romances, and if you've enjoyed any of these author's previous books.

Final Rating: 4/5.

Thanks so much to Thomas Nelson for allowing me to advance read and review this!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy of this novel from the publisher (Thomas Nelson) in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Summer Detour by Denise Hunter

Awwww is all I could say after reading this novella. Denise Hunter knows her craft very well.
I smiled aver and iver again as I progressed through the story. Allie's and Luke's feud was just so cute. The undercurrent between them was palpable despite the grudge.
I admired the courage it took both of them to face their fears and evovle through the story.

Pinning For You by Melissa Ferguson

Sweet story of love lost and love found.

Theo and Skye were just adorable. I admired how Theo loved Skye and her family. It was really sweet and kind.
They found their way back to each other in the most adorable of ways. Definitely swoon worthy.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not by Kathleen Fuller.

This one made me laugh. I loved the characters except Ladon off course.
The story warmed my heart that made me smile. I liked how Joe wooed Sophie. Thiers was absolutely beautiful with the funny tension between them.

What a delightful trio of novellas this way! I thoroughly enjoyed each story. I have long been a fan of Denise Hunter's work, so I pretty much knew hers would be good. I've read the second author a time or two and the third none at all. I really enjoyed their contributions. This would make a great vacation read. Neither are very long and all are satisfying.

A Summer Detour by Denise Hunter
Allie offers to bring her grandparents restored car to their anniversary, 650 miles away. When she goes to pick the car up, she realizes it’s a manual transmission and she doesn’t know how to drive those. She calls an old friend, Luke and asks him to please drive the car. Adventures abound along with stormy weather. Fun story and characters.
Pining for You by Melissa Ferguson
Theo is called back to the Evergreen Farm to tend to something and happens across Skye, whom he hasn’t seen in 14 years. He may have grown up there, but he’s a city boy as they come, whereas Skye is comfortable doing the chores that need done. Some past hurts need to be worked through for these two. We also meet Skye’s parents, and Luke. Cute story and an easy read
He Love Me; He Loves Me Not by Kathleen Fuller
Sophie own Petals and Posies and spends all her time working in the shop. At 35, she decides she can have a bit of a social life and start dating, when the opportunity arises. There are only 2 single prospects in town, Landon and Joe, and they both conveniently decide to ask her out at the same time. We also briefly meet April, Travis, Claud and Sophie’s mom. Another engaging story to round out this collection of novella’s.
A complimentary copy was provided by Thomas Nelson via NetGalley. A review was not required and all thoughts and opinions are my own.

A nice variety of short stories by three authors. Perfect for when you want to sit and enjoy a quick read. They are all a second chance romance with a touch of humor, small town coziness , family and different story lines. They are more of a sweet romance collection.
I fell in love with Walter, the dog and really enjoyed imagining driving in the restored '57 Chevy.
And who doesn't love a story about a Christmas tree farm or one that includes a flower shop. Each story was enjoyable .
It makes you stop and think of your first love and what is sweeter than young love!

Two of the authors were new to me so it was a great chance to read some of their work. I was fortunate to receive an early copy of this book.
