Thank you very much for this sampler. It gave a good taste of the YA books that were published during this time period.

I simply love these kinds of samplers where I am able to get a little bit into different upcoming books and finding new ones I really want to read in the future.
And this one is put together really well.
I put a few of these books directly onto my wishlist and really look forward to reading them hopefully soon.

I absolutely love when a publisher will put together a selection of their upcoming books with a snippet from each one to make my book buying so much easier.

This has definitely brought some books to my attention that might not have been before. It's a great way to see what does and does not interest you,

This was a great way to be introduced to these books and these authors. I enjoyed most of them and have picked up a few of them since reading these samples.

So many books in this I want to read! my poor TBR 🙈 My standout favourite is Lost in the Never Woods, I loved Cemetery Boys and I am Peter Pan obsessed so I know I am going to absolutely love this one!

Really enjoyed getting a sample. Seeing some books that had already interested me and others that were just as intrguing I hadn't heard of yet till now.

I just love the samplers! It gives me a good idea of what to keep an eye out for, and what I need to add to my Goodreads. It's a great way to put books on my radar that I wouldn't have known about otherwise! I'm especially excited for We Free the Stars and All the Tides of Fate. Added a couple others to my list as well!

So many great titles! I can't wait to buy most of them. I already have about half on my shelves and I've read 2 of them I'm full, Tides and Teeth.

Such a great guide for all booklovers. The only problem is that I keep buying books faster than I'm reading them.. which can't continue .... otherwise I won't have any $ left.

I adore these samplers, but the two titles that really jumped out at me were The Firekeeper's Daughter and The Mary Shelley Club. I cannot wait to read them!

This was exactly what I want from a sampler. It solidified my interest in a couple of upcoming releases that were already on my radar, and piqued my interest in a few others that I hadn't heard of yet. There's only one that I didn't add to my TBR because as much as I loved the writing (and I did!), even the bit that was in the sampler had me freaking myself out, so I know it won't be a thriller I can read. Overall a perfect amuse bouche for these upcoming releases.

Best Book Sampler Ever! Thank you Fierce Reads! I highly recommend Fierce Reads! Free Sampler! If you want a free book sampler, Fierce Reads is usually really good. It’s free so you won’t get the entire story so keep that in mind. You will want to check you library’s catalog for any of the books that you’re interested in reading.

This was my first sampler and I really love the whole idea behind it. I am really excited for several of these titles and enjoyed reading some things I had never heard of and things out of my comfort zone.

I've long been a huge fan of the samplers available on NetGalley. In general, I think they're utterly fantastic and they allow me the opportunity to get a glimpse at many reads early on. I'm particularly fond of Fierce Reads, as this publishing imprint has put out some of my all-time favorite books to date. I'm excited to see what they have in store for us next.

Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas

I'm pretty much almost guaranteed to read anything that exists as a Peter Pan retelling. While I'll freely admit that this retelling, in particular, isn't in a genre I would usually pick up, I'm more than willing to give it a chance on account of its source material. I can't promise I'll love it, but so far the book is off to an interesting start and certainly worth enough of my attention.

What Big Teeth by Rose Szabo

Honestly, this is not my kind of book. It's also been compared to Wilder Girls, a book I genuinely did not enjoy reading. I just get this sense that I would regret wasting my time on this novel. It's truly a shame.

The Half Orphan's Handbook by Joan F. Smith

I don't think I'll be reading The Half Orphan's Handbook, either, to tell you the truth. I get the point of the book, but I've always hated reading books primarily focused around grief. As worthwhile as these books can be, I've always found them incredibly dull and from what I've seen so far of this one, it's kind of headed in a similar direction.

The Mirror Season by Anna-Marie McLemore

I've actually had this book on my TBR for a while and I'm thoroughly intrigued by its premise. I'm so glad to have gotten a chance to start reading it. This book has some seriously heavy topics. I'm honestly just very interested in seeing how the subject matter is handled and where the story goes, because damn.

Angel of Greenwood by Randi Pink

I'm very torn on this one. There are two things that turn me away from it, that being that the historical aspect of it isn't really for me and that I can't stand reading books heavy with Christianity. If I'm going to read a religious book, it's going to be to better understand the religion itself rather than to connect with religious characters, as I find connection really difficult in this case. That said, this book has some incredibly important themes to it that I think would be worth reading about.

The Awakening of Malcolm X by Ilyasah Shabazz & Tiffany D. Jackson

I think this work is thoroughly fascinating. And I love the fact that it was written by his daughter. Admittedly, I don't know nearly as much as I probably should about Malcolm X. This book pretty much proves to me that it might just be time to remedy that.

The Forest of Stolen Girls by June Hur

In the simplest of terms, this book is just not my genre. I avoid mysteries. I avoid thrillers. I avoid crime novels. Most of the time, I just don't enjoy them.

Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley

I've seen this book around, but never really actually checked it out until now. And, I'm pretty sure the reason for this is the fact that it's a thriller. I just...important themes are certainly present in this one but I hate reading thrillers. I'm leaning toward not reading it.

The Mary Shelley Club by Goldy Moldavsky

Ugh, as much as I adore learning about Mary Shelley as a person, I do not care for the premise of this novel. I'm not sure why there are so many thrillers in this sampler, but it's getting tough to deal with. I just don't like them. Suffice to say, The Mary Shelley Club is definitely a book I'll be passing on.

What Beauty There IS by Cory Anderson

Yep. Another thriller. No thanks.

All the Tides of Fate by Adalyn Grace

Ah, bugger. I couldn't actually read this one since I've not read the first novel in this series. That said, I do really want to. This is what comes of being so far behind on your TBR, I suppose.

City of Spells by Alexandra Cristo

Gah, though I loved To Kill a Kingdom I'm still trying desperately to get through Alexandra Cristo's Into the Crooked Place. With how annoyingly boring that book has been for me thus far, I really don't think I'll be reading its sequel.

We Free the Stars by Hafsah Faizal

Is it weird that I thought this book was out already? Granted, at the time I'm writing this, it's been published. But for some reason I'd heard about it so much that I genuinely thought it came out over a year ago. This is a sequel, though, so I didn't actually read the excerpt since I would still like to read the first book in the series. That means, no spoilers.

I was provided a free copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I love sampler collections of upcoming books. There wasn't a bad choice in any of the previews- there is a vast selection for all reader preferences. I'm personally am most looking forward to 'lost in the never woods'- mainly because I am a sucker for books in the disney universe. This is definitely a more grown up version of Peter pan, and I can't wait to read the full novel. I am also interested in finishing 'the forest of stolen girls' and 'the Mary Shelley club'. 'The mirror season' is intriguing, but very deep. Its not a story I am ready to fully read, but I'm not going to rule out keeping it on my TBR list. I did not read the snippets of the 3 sequels. I didn't want spoilers from the previous books. However, I did go on Amazon and read a quick snippet of the the first books in the series. Of the three sequels included in this sampler, I am most interested in 'all the tides of fate'.

Not much to say besides I can't wait to add MOST of these to my TBR. Thank you for the sneak peek! Lost in the never woods, The Mary Shelly club, and what big teeth are definitely my most anticipated reads!

If the full books of these samples are as good as this sounds then we're going to have a very good year of reading!
I'm particularly excited about Aiden Thomas retelling. It sounds so good!!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review
