Lincoln is in love - which presents a bit of a problem when you're a demon killer and in love with a quasi-demon. (It creates some great tension, given how people around Lincoln see Myla). Lincoln and Myla are just so perfect for each other, you can't help but root for things to work out for them in the end. There's plenty of action and fun scenes with Lincoln and Myla mixed in, and the book moves alone fairly quickly, keeping you turning pages cover to cover. If you didn't fall in love with Lincoln in book one, you certainly will now! I won't give any spoilers, but you don't want to miss out on this series, trust me.

Here's the perfect opportunity to get in on the series if you have not had the chance to dive right in. Sometimes some of us just need the viewpoint of a male. Just so we could see what was going on in his head. Well, this one right here lives up to the expectation of all that was capture in Anglebound (Myla's viewpoint).

It's hard telling you how good this version of events are without giving in to tell you more about what you will find. Seeing things from Lincoln's POV gives you more insight to what he was feeling and thinking, and how he viewed things that were taking place. If I would say anything it would be to read book one (Anglebound) of this series. Then make sure you read Duty Bound. Then jump right in and get the full picture. This one installment helps to make the already rich series even more.

I have come to love the way that Christina Bauer have cultivated her character, integrated the demons, humans, and made them have tiers of society, and the depths of the world she has built around them. You will get a full sensory experience with the way they all come together to provide the movie like experience right in your head.

Welcome to Angelbound. Christina Bauer has built a beautiful fantasy world full of mystery, intrigue, romance and beautiful people. Lincoln may be book #2 in the Lincoln series, but this character is so well written and so well loved, that he's #1 in alot of reader's hearts. As a prince who is also part angel, he must struggle daily to keep his piece of Angelbound safe and it's people happy. His duty comes before all else. But then......

Nope, not gonna tell. You have to read it for yourself....but trust me, you'll love it!

Angelbound, Lincoln (Book 2 of the Angelbound Lincoln Series) – Christina Bauer

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher so I could provide an honest review.

Christina Bauer is an American author who writes many fantasy stories. Besides the “Angelbound Offspring” series she has also written the “Pixieland Diaries” and the “Beholder” series plus many more.

Lincoln is not your typical young adult, while yes, he likes to enjoy himself and get into the occasional bit of trouble he is also the Prince of the Thrax. Thrax being the beings that fight and hunt demons and protect the people of Earth from them.

And just like most guys Lincoln’s age his attention is taken by a girl, Myla, but not any girl a quasi-demon girl that just so happens to be a kick ass fighter. Unfortunately, there is an ancient magical being that is trying to destroy the Thrax and somehow his girl is the key to it all.

So naturally, Lincoln is going to do everything in his power to squash this threat and protect his girl. But of course, there are a few bumps along the way, Lincoln and Myla are determined to get through this together.

“Lincoln” is an enjoyable and playful novel that was just such a delight to read. It is slightly longer than the other books of the author I have read but given the storyline – it was very much needed. Thought I still feel there is a lot more to uncover for these two lovebirds. Not to mention I doubt it’s the last that we’ve heard from Lincoln’s favourite Earl.

Fast Pace beginning of the story of Lincoln and Maya. It's an exciting beginning and look into how Lincoln adores Myla and will go out of his way to protect Myla, who doesn't really need protection. I'm interested to see how this romance continues, and hopefully to see the downfall of the infuriating, Earl of Acca!

Entertaining, fast moving, action packed. Liked the book.

As I have not read the Angelbound series, not aware of the nitty gritties of the fiction world created by Christina, so I struggled a bit in understanding terms like ghoul, purgatory, Antrum, etc. But got along nevertheless. The storyline is fast thus it didn't matter much.

The continuing story of Myla Lewis and Lincoln whose love is challenged by the Earl of Acca. A most excellent read. Loving the Lincoln side! Thanks #netgalley and #MonsterHouseBooks for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

It finally occurred to me as I was scrolling through all of my highlights in Lincoln, what Lincoln’s purpose is in the “Angelbound” series. Lincoln gives voice to the romance of their hearts. Myla brings the snark, humor, and blood thirtiness of this action series. Lincoln gives us the romance that Myla cannot voice. Think about it, in just this novel alone I must have highlighted at least four major passages where anyone’s heart would swoon. Lincoln’s thoughts of Myla are what every human looks for when they want to read a romance.

I thought when I read Duty Bound that I had gotten a glimpse into Lincoln and started to admire him. Christina Bauer sealed my fate, along with Lincoln and Myla’s, in Lincoln. He has got all of these beautiful emotions that only we get to know and Myla gets to feel. If he got as mushy out loud as he does in his head, she wouldn’t know what to do with it. We do. Keep reading because seriously who does not want a “Lincoln” for a partner.

Bauer has created the best super couple. The efforts that Lincoln goes to save his girl, who can save herself and the world too is adorable. The inner monologue is what seals the deal in Lincoln. I have never been so happy to hear a male voice as I am Lincoln’s.

The action and back scene drama from Lincoln’s point of view enhances the “Angelbound” series. I love this book. If you want a romance and a person who will make you swoon, then read Lincoln.

Between the different personalities of Myla who is pretty much a hot head and Lincoln who gives a whole new meaning to calm and the action this book is non-stop! It's told from both of their points of view so you get to know them both very well! They really are the definition of opposites attract! All of the books in this series are fast paced with lots of adventures and action! Great read for anyone who loves fantasy books!

I received an ARC of this from the publisher via Netgalley.

I enjoyed this so much more than the first book. There was definitely more meat to this one and more of a storyline. Im enjoying the flow and the getting to know the characters better. Definitely checking out the rest in this series

This is the first book I've read from this author and I have to say it was enjoyable. The book itself was a quick read that keep moving and kept my interest. The story line was unique and intriguing and caught my interest enough to want to continue the series. I'll definitely pick up more of this authors work.

I really couldn't get into this book. I really tried, but some of Lincoln's thoughts infuriated me. I got super irritated with him referring to Mylan as his girl, and acting possessive over her. This was worsened because every time they talked, he went out of his way to insult her. I really didn't like him, so this book didn't work for me.

The second book In the Angelbound series continues the story of Lincoln our crown Prince demon Hunter. It tracks his progress in his relationship with the quasi warrior girl Myla who definitely is more than meets the eye. The friendship he has with the ghoul Walker and his attempts to thwart not only the interfering earl of Acca and his daughter but also the Tithe who wishes to destroy and take over parts of heaven, and the evil king of he'll Armageddon who is trying to seize purgatory,

A great continuation of the tale of Lincoln and looking forward to seeing what happens next

This was a wonderful book to read. We get to learn how Lincoln & Myla meet, and get to know each other. We also see Myla become the Great Scala. It is also interesting to see the connection between Lincoln & Myla grow so quickly, both in how they can read what the other is thinking, but also how well they work like a well oiled machine when in battle.
On to Trickster next!!

I did not read the Angelbound series before this one.

An interesting intrigued drowned by an annoying romance

I have to admit that I had trouble finishing this book. It's not that the story isn't interesting in itself because the battle scenes and the bad guy were quite entertaining. But the romance... First, I hated how Lincoln calls Myla "my girl" when he's never even talked to her. I don't exactly get how he could feel so entitled to "have" her. Their relationship switched way too quickly from hatred too absolute and profound love. I didn't like that either. And since most of the book was about said relationship, it made it hard for me to read. Apart from that, I don't really like Lincoln after all. The first book gave me a good impression but in the end I was disappointed. Same with Myla who seemed like an independent badass girl, but ended up falling way to quickly.

All in all, I'm not eager to read the next book but I hope it'll be less about this romance and more about what's going to happen.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Monster House Books for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this q. This is part of a series, number 2. This may be difficult to understand if read out of order. This is written from Lincoln's perspective. This is the story of Lincoln and Myla's courtship. Fun book fast paced. 4 stars

I love this series and this couple are my favorites. I love how their brains just seem to know what the other is thinking. This book has kick butt characters but also show a deep love connection. I can’t wait to read the next one to see what they get into next.

The second book as told by Lincoln in the angelbound series. As in the first book, it's great to read things from Lincoln's point of view. You get a greater understanding of the characters and their motivations when things are explained from his side. As usual, love the series... :)
