I’ve always loved Alina Tysoe’s artworks; her comics are so funny and often relatable! That works for this graphic novel too as I loved every single page of it. I love that it’s separated into parts of her childhood, teenage years and then onto adulthood.

Adorable, cute, heart-warming, loved this delightful comic collection to the botom of my heart. Alina Tysoe's Beanie should be a mainstay across every collection of comic strips' fans.

An absolutely adorable and hilarious autobiographical comic that was just as charming to read in book form as it is in the webcomics I was familiar with.

I love this series. I've read so many of the "What's up, Beanie?" webcomic and this is just the same. It's a hilarious comic through and through. Thank you netgalley for letting me read this!

Full review to be posted soonish.
I would like to thank the publisher and netgalley for providing me a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I love this webcomic and it was so fun to see it all collected together! I'm so happy for the creator and I'm really excited to see this in print!

Everything was so relatable! It's a collection of coming of age comics. It reminded me of my childhood *sobbing*. If you're sad and want to read something wholesome without any cliffhanger, READ THIS!

What's Up Beanie ended up being way cuter than I ever expected it to be. I love how the author, Alina Tysoe, has included a younger version of her self to help share her life story, and I really enjoyed Tysoe's sense of humour and art style throughout. Incredibly well done!

Really enjoyed this cute graphic novel. The artwork was beautiful and the humor was just great. This was one of the books that I didn’t want to put down because it was pure entertainment.

This was such a cute comic! I've read a few other Beanie comics and they are all just so sweet and relatable. If you're in the mood for something light and fun then definitely check this out!

This is a cute book. There are plenty of fun stories in here. This book feels more like a gift that you'd buy someone for nostalgia than a book that would circulate well at a library. If graphic novel/comic memoirs circulate well, then this collection of short comics might be worth a purchase.

This book was so cute! It would be a great addition to any comic fan's collection, and the humor was fun and fresh.

I received an eARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I adored the Beanie webcomics so when I heard that she was making a book filled with her adorable, relatable illustrations - I knew I had to read it. And I was not disappointed! Heart warming and hilarious, Beanie's adventures will make you feel fuzzy inside and bring a smile to your face.
So endearing and much needed in the world today when things are still looking a little bleak - the perfect pick me up.

I follow Alina on Instagram and so when I saw her book, I couldn't pass the opportunity to pick it up. This is a collection of her online comics that depict her life growing up. It is highly relatable to many readers as they dive into their childhood with fun filled games, friends and time spent with family.
I love the flow of how she aligned each comic strip. I hope she will have a second book out soon!
Thank you NetGalley and Mariner Books for giving me the opportunity to read this for my candid review.

What’s Up, Beanie is a collection of comics. Covering topics like family, having social anxiety, relationships and growing as a person this collection has something for everyone. The relationships and challenges in Beanie’s life are relatable and inspire reflection from the reader. Beanie’s connection with her older sisters made me think of my sister and the comics could just as easily detail our relationship which was lovely to see. The comics are very well done with adorable characters that left me wanting more.
Special thanks to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley, the artist/author, and the publishers for this book!
I have been such a huge fan of Beanie for YEARS now! I always look forward to her comics popping up on my Instagram feed and they instantly brighten my day. I can't believe she's published them as a book now! It's just so exciting to see how Beanie and her comics have grown and it's just lovely to be able to flip through the book and have them all together bundled up like that. They're always so funny, and so relatable and her art style is just precious.

This graphic novel was a decent read, going through the stages of Beanie’s life. I could relate on some levels but it was all over the place. I occasionally couldn’t read the text as well.

Thank you to NetGalley & Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for giving this e-ARC to me for an honest review.
What's up Beanie? is really a wholesome comic. It is about Beanie growing up through phases of life, growing up until she's fully grown-up and get married. The comic is very hilarious and sad on certain part especially when beanie leaving her family. I love to see Beanie stages of life as in kids, teen and adult. This comic literally made my day and I am happy to be able to read this comic, as the storyline is magnificent as well as the illustration are beautiful illustrate by Alina Tyson

This was such a cute comic, it wasn't clenching your belly hilarious, however it was cute and quirky. Overall I found myself reading it in 2 sittings as it was easy to put it down and pick it back up. A quick read that is sure to make you smile.
I recommend for fans of other small web comics where the story is told in a fast paced manner and is perfect between heavy reads. I loved reading these during my work breaks.
