Y’ALL. You know we love #cocktails and #books, and I am not lying when I say that I am absolutely OBSESSED with this absolutely stunning collection of cocktails, spreads, and boards (including what boards to pair with what drinks) all of which include ingredients you can find in the pantry, in the fridge, and the garden. Not only are the recipes so amazing that I want to list them all, but it’s accompanied by beautiful illustrations that are honestly frame worthy.

This one hits the shelves on July 1st and should be on everyone’s list - for your own use and as a perfect gift. It is absolutely beautiful and so, so practical.

Some of my favorite cocktail recipes included: the Sushi Mary, Bourbon Maple Sweet Tea Thyme, Dirty Dry Martini, Apple Butter Manhattan, Basil Mint G&T, Bourbon Milk Punch (my weakness), Lavender Daiquiris, Basil-Cello Prosecco, Smoky Watermelon Mezcal Fresco, and MORE.

Some of the savory spreads and breads that were my favorite: beer cheese spread, pimento cheese, marinated queso fresco, maple chipotle butter, and MORE.

This one is absolutely divine.

What a brilliant idea! For those who struggle to make cocktails at home and feel stymied by the lack of a "full bar" this book shows you how to use ingredients you're likely to already have on hand, in your fridge, pantry, freezer and more. The recipes vary from very simple to complex, but there's plenty of advanced techniques for the professional or very enthusiastic home bartender.

I loved the presentation of this book and the illustrations. The book is interesting and looks nice visually. But when it comes to cocktails, I didn’t find a single one that I could try. I expected it to help me make cocktails with that I already have available at home. The recipes either weren’t for me or I didn’t have the needed ingredients.

A lovely collection of delicious-sounding cocktail recipes. My one complaint is that, well, this book promises cocktails you can make from ingredients you have just lying around- however, the first recipe calls for pickled ginger. I don't necessarily keep pickled ginger around, but whatever, I'm sure people do. Also: tamarind puree? Kaffir lime leaves? Shisho leaves? Maybe I'm a philistine but I did have to google some of these ingredients. That's always the problem when people write recipe books promising to use only ingredients you find in the average person's kitchen. The problem is, the people writing these books aren't the average person. They don't have the average person's stocked kitchen. Some of these recipes assume readers have access to some pretty well-stocked grocery stores.

I love the idea of pandemic cocktails made from things you have around the house. And so many of them look stunningly delicious ! From the riff on a Bloody Mary to the mandarin painkiller (a pina colada made with a can of mandarin oranges? Yes!) I have 90% of the ingredients in the house right now. Chances I will make some of these cocktails this weekend ? Also 90%!

Wow, I’ve created my own drinks before, but some of these combinations really make you think. The author is correct, in that we explore with cooking, why not do the same with cocktails? You’ll get plenty of suggestions, ideas, and some recipes to get your shake on. This was an interesting read and I’ve got my creating cap on as I am off the see what I can come up with.

This is such a cool book for mixing up different, sometimes unique concoctions! It would be fun for a couple or group of friends to try the recipes together. I love the pictures as well, interesting drawings for the different drinks. I want to try the off season Bellini!

You must buy this book if you are a cocktail girl, if you entertain and you want to be fancy at your next at home party or if you are still stuck at home during the pandemic!
So many fantastic cocktails. Upscale but down to earth in your pantry supplies.
Love this book!

My fiance and I love having cocktail nights so I was instantly grabbed by Pantry Cocktails by Katherine Cobbs. I really liked the watercolor images throughout the book and thought the cover was lovely. It was a lot of fun to read through all the wacky combinations and imagine myself making drinks with the baby carrots in my fridge. The author did a great job describing each of the creations which made it fun to imagine what they'd taste like.

This book had so much potential but missed the mark in a few major ways. The description reads: "Knowing how to enlist the everyday basics cluttering up your kitchen, like condiments, jams, pickles, and sauces, means you can craft inventive, flavorful cocktails on the fly, satisfying cravings and fulfilling your guest’s requests" which implies that you can make anything from what you already have... the catch is ... this book doesn't contain ingredients a normal cook would have on hand (e.g. miso paste, champagne vinegar, cachaça, fresh tarragon). Curious to know how these would end up, and wanting to give an honest review, my fiance and I each picked a cocktail and bought the supplies at the store. I chose a "salty pepperoncini perro" which... held true to it's name of being crazy salty! It was overall an imbalanced drink (grapefruit juice+pepperoncini brine+tequila= :( ) desperately in need of simple syrup. My fiance's "Campfire Brown Derby" was probably one of the more fun concoctions in the book comprised of bourbon, the liquid from a can of baked beans, grapefruit juice, and maple syrup all garnished with a grapefruit peel and slice of bacon. But what makes for a fun recipe to read... doesn't quite make for a fun drink to have. Particularly when you're trying to stomach a thick (!) and overly sweet drink. We'd give them both ~2/5 stars.

I love this concept. It was fun to read all the wacky pairings, but not as fun to taste them. It is not a book I would purchase or recommend to someone else. However, this could be a really fun gift for a friend that loves cocktails and who would enjoy reading/daydreaming about these drinks.

I received a free copy of this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Although I am not as involved in my kitchen on a daily basis as I would like to be, I'm always looking for drink & snack recipes to bring to get togethers or have out on the porch in the summer.

This collection of classic drinks with a new twist was made better only by adding the optional snack boards along side. The absolute best of both worlds.

I have several pages flagged for use in the near future, as I move from tea and hot chocolate into something more refreshing for the summer season.

The beautiful illustrations throughout the book make me want a paper copy to pour over. I will be recommending this book and keeping it in mind for summer birthday gifts.

I am truly delighted by this little cookbook of cocktails and appetizers. Within its pages is so much more than I expected from the simple title -- there is no less than a whole WORLD of cocktails in your pantry and backyard, calling to you! The cocktails are incredibly creative and varied. You have sweet, you have spicy, you have refreshing and you have smoky. There's a little of everything and something for everyone. The appetizers have a southern bent (pimento cheese, rumaki) -- oh my gosh they all sound so good. This cookbook is lovely with its illustrations and fun to read through. It would make a great gift as well as a nice little gift from me to myself, which I plan to do.

I requested and received a temporary digital Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley, the publisher and the author in exchange for an honest review.

Having read lots of cocktail recipe books during 2020, with staying in becoming the only 'going out' I was pleasantly surprised to find that this book truly is a different approach, using pantry staples that in some instances you'd never consider adding to a cocktail!

There are some unique takes on classic cocktails and some more experimental options which I'm looking forward to trying once I restock the cupboards! This is a book for someone looking for something different from the normal, who will be open to trying some more unusual combinations!

Thank you to Tiller Press and Netgalley for a copy of the ARC in return for my honest review.

Thank you to Tiller Press and NetGalley for an ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. This book was a perfect addition to any that I've read about cocktails in the past. I'm not clever, creative or understand quite how to make a cocktail, but this year, in the quarantine, I longed to do that. This book was one that's 100 percent different than others: You can make a fun, flavorful cocktail with some alcohol staples and things you already have! Thank you to the author for this great addition!

There were some decent ideas in the book to utilize pantry staples for drinks, but most of the drinks were not ones that I found personally appealing. I do like the concept of the pantry cocktail and also enjoyed the menu pairings.

OH MY GOODNESS! I cannot wait for this book to come out because I need it in hardback immediately. Whatsmore, I need every image in this book on my walls. The art is absolutely amazing and probably the most gorgeous cocktail book that I've seen in the last few years. Pantry Cocktails is such a fun cocktail book that takes what you already have in your home and helps you create new and delicious cocktails. Divided into cocktails made from ingredients you find in your garden, fridge, pantry, and even snack boards, this is a book you will definitely be coming back to for inspiration and recipes over and over again.

PERFECT! 5/5 Stars!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Tiller Press for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
