It's a cute story that had potential but the h decisions made it hard to like her, not that the H hadn't done anything wrong ( there's no cheating).
Keira is a widow trying to move on, Logan "Grayson" was her late husband's BFF. They both attend a masquerade but whilst he recognizes her he's a stranger to her.

I loved this book like you wouldn't know how much I love this! It was cute and well rounded. My only problem with the book was that the epilogue was a bit short.

IT was a cute story however there were plot lines that did not add up or did not make sense. As a grown woman she made choices that were immature.

Stina is a new to me author. I started in the middle of the By the Bay series but I will def go back and read the others. I cannot wait until the next one is released. I enjoyed Kiera and Logan’s story. Second chance at love for both of them. It was funny and romantic and some steaminess.

Kissing a stranger at the masked ball leads to so much more!

I tried to describe Decidedly with Luck by Stina Lindenblatt to a friend and it made me laugh just talking about it because everything is so unexpected because it’s not a boy meets girl and they fall in love but a rollercoaster romance.

Hockey player Logan Mathews had been in love with Keira since college because he was too shy to ask her out and his best friend asked her out first so when they connected at the masked ball and she didn’t know who he was. And that leads to a real romance starting with an unexpected baby and ends with two people falling in love with lots of luck.

Decidedly With Luck was a good story. Kiera and Logan were good friends in college. They both liked each other but were unaware of each other’s feelings. Logan introduced Kiera to his best friend and he didn’t waste anytime getting Kiera and eventually marrying her. And after they drifted apart. Now years later Kiera is a widow and attends a charity masquerade ball with her sister. Ready to take the first step in moving forward since her husbands death. Logan see’s her and knows it’s her, but because he is referred to by a different name she doesn’t know it’s him. The story takes off from there. I was hooked and didn’t want to put the book down.

I was given a copy of this book via NetGalley for my honest review.

This was a cute second chance love story. The history between Keira and Logan "Grayson" is wonderful and the un weaving of the little lies that turned into huge situations is good. This is the sixth book in the series, but you do not need to read any to enjoy this book.

Totally unbelievable to me. Struggle to finish it. Having a one night with a masked stranger, who was best friends with your late husband?? A little unbelievable for me!

This is the 6th book in the By the Bay series, but can be read as a stand-alone. It has been a little over a years since Keira Ashwood’s husband died. She attends a masked ball and is determined to move on and kiss a stranger. She runs into “Grayson Matthews,” a handsome masked stranger. One kiss leads to more. Grayson, is Logan Grayson Matthews, Kiera’s late husband’s best friend. While Keira has no idea that “Grayson” is Logan, Logan does recognize Keira, and agrees to keep his mask on during their late night activities. Of course, three months later, Keira is pregnant and doesn’t know what to do. Instead of fessing up to an indiscretion, she lies and says that she was inseminated by her late husband’s deposit. Logan is a pro Hockey player and was traded to San Francisco and is surprised when his daughter’s teacher is Keira. I’ve read two of the prior books in this series and really enjoyed them, this one not so much. What kept me from enjoying this book was Keira. While I understand her embarrassment at the situation she was in, her constant lying had the potential to hurt so many people. Then, when she had the opportunity to come clean, she would chicken out. There were so many times I wanted to throttle Keira. If you want to be frustrated by a character’s inability to accept responsibility for their actions like an adult, this book is for you. If not, then read the other books in the series, you will enjoy them. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.

I loved this easy read romance.
Kiera's husband had died a year before and she wanted to start moving on. She decides to start simple, a kiss at a masked ball with a masked stranger. Logan had been Kiera's husband's best friend and has secretly loved her for years. When he sees her at the ball, he can't help but flirt. One thing leads to another and they end up in bed together. Weeks later Kiera finds out she is pregnant, but thinks the father is a stranger she met at the ball.
What happens when the truth comes out? Can Kiera and Logan find a way to work through all the lies and find a happily ever after?
Great story, loved the characters. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

By the Bay series book six, and it did not disappoint. As with all the books in this series, we have hockey and strong women. I enjoyed Kiera’s independence, a recent widow, school teacher, and philanthropist at heart. Logan has known Kiera since college and was her former husband's roommate. The setup for their reconnection is perfect. Now, if they can manage to get past all the snowballing white lies, they might get their happily ever after. The charm and sass of Logan's ex-wife and daughter are wonderful in this story. Will they find love a second time?

Thank you to NetGalley and the Author for the advanced copy for my voluntary review.

This was just ok for me. I love a good hockey romance but something about it fell flat for me. I really think the father storyline went on way longer than it should have. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

Logan and Kiera met in college, he's wanted to tell her how he feels many times but chickened out. They both married other people and now they're both single. He sees her again at a masked ball, he knows who she is but she does not. To her the masked man is a stranger. After they spend a night together she ends up pregnant and she tells everyone its her deceased husband's baby. The truth does eventually come out and he's there for her just as dedicated as before.

These are cute characters who seem to be scared of their own truths as well as what they feel for each other. I love how everyone steps in and helps them with the baby. This was a good read, i could not put it down.

4.5 Stars
I greatly enjoyed this one! It’s about two people getting a second chance at love AND an accidental pregnancy. Did I mention Logan is also a single father, has a great relationship with his ex-wife and her hubby and he’s a NHL player???
That’s a lot of goodness packed into one story.
I should also mention she doesn’t know who the father of her baby is...
What?!?!
That’s right. Kiera doesn’t know Logan is the father of her baby.

I enjoyed this book. It's fun and fast moving. Both characters have a lot to hide because of their lies and past. It's nice how everything works out and we have a happy ending for both of them. I do like both of the characters a lot. Great chemistry. :)

I wanted to like this book more than I did because it combined two of my favorite themes in romance novels: a sports novel plus a surprise baby. Unfortunately, it also included one of my least favorite tropes - a bit lie that characters tell that comes back to bite them. Both the hero and heroine are hiding rather big bits of information from each other. Add in how the heroine is lying to her family as well as the hero and I just was fed up with the both of them.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.
