The novel sounded interesting, but this was a struggle to read. I did not find this to be a horror novel. It wasn’t really that scary. I also found the heroine to be dislikable. Still, I recommend this for those interested in folklore.
The book was well written but I never could relate to the main character. She was one dimensional, not fully fleshed out.
I didn't find the plot conpelling.
I received a free copy of this book. I am leaving my honest review.
In "Secret Spirit Guardians of Santa Fe", a reporter, clueless about her origins, returns to her hometown. Just in time for the 100th anniversary of the cities most famous festival - which is more than she expected.
Between ancient and "newly" formed spirits, female power and a hot fireman, being a reporter ist not the easiest job.
