Mariah, a college freshman, is returning home for Christmas to visit her family after her high school boyfriend dumped her. She discovers that a lot has changed in the six months she's been at college, and she doesn't want to be at home for Christmas. Mariah makes a decision to take a road trip, and ends up spending the journey with her ex-best friend, Mason. Together they travel across the country, stopping along the way and making new discoveries.

This book yanked at my heart strings! I absolutely love Mariah and Mason, and their journey. The book swaps from 'Then' and 'Now' which allows the reader to understand the nuances of their relationship. The chemistry they have is gorgeous, and the lengths they go to for each other is beyond sweet.

This book was my introduction to the author, Mila Nicks, and now I want to go and read all the other books she has written. I could not recommend this book highly enough, do yourselves a favour and read it asap :)
