I have never had an ARC expire before I finished but lets just say I won't make that mistake again. I was really enjoying this book. It grabbed me from the open. I did have to suspend disbelief to make it work. I mean, you wake up in an amnesic state and *think* that it feels right to go to Maine and there is a trailer with Maine plates that just happens to be going to Maine. I mean, not travelling around before going back but straight to Maine. Not only that but it just happens to be doing to a neighborhood in Maine where you lived. Have you seen Maine? It's HUGE!!!! He just happens to remember 6 digits of a number and is able to get the full number by trying on a pay phone with limited money and everyone just happens to be home and answers their phones. Nobody screens in Maine??? BUT that's how good this book was. I was willing to go along with every ride because I was in hook line and sinker. I will be purchasing the book to find out the ending I guess!!

This was just a mediocre and average for me. Things did move quickly with some suspense. However, nothing really had me at the edge of my seat and flipping the page too fast. There wasn't enough mystery or twists. The characters needed more substance and development too.

This was another great thriller by Hannah Mary McKinnon. I have enjoyed all her books. The main difference from this one to the other ones is that you know who is the bad character the whole book and there aren’t really any twists. I wasn’t surprised anything. I was waiting for a twist but it wasn’t written that way.

I am sorry for not reviewing fully but I don’t have the time to read this at the moment. I believe that it wouldn't benefit you as a publisher or your book if I only skimmed it and wrote a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for not fully reviewing!

One day in Maryland, a man woke up on a beach with no memories. He couldn’t remember who he was or why he was there, but he makes his way to his hometown in Maine to find the answers. Lily Reid’s boyfriend has gone missing. When she starts searching for him, she learns that he had been lying to her about his real identity. At the same time, Maya Scott has been searching for her stepbrother for the past two years when he disappeared without a trace. Now, he’s back, but he isn’t the same. They all have dark secrets to hide that threaten to destroy everything.

This was such an amazing thriller! It was so hard to put down. There were loads of secrets and hidden pasts in each of the three narratives, which kept me hooked. The story slowly unraveled to reveal a twisted secret at the end.

The story ended abruptly but it worked really well. One character seemed suspicious from the beginning, and I was right in suspecting them. I couldn’t figure out all of the secrets though, so I was still surprised at some parts. Even though I suspected one character, it was a suspenseful read that I couldn’t put down.

You Will Remember Me is a suspenseful thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

The alternating view points for each chapter made the book and were so perfect for this storyline! I loved the retrogade amnesia plot line and figuring out what had happened and putting together the past with one of the main characters. I loved the in the dark viewpoint of the girlfriend and the straight up shady view of the sister. Wonderful summer thriller!!

I’m SO conflicted about this book 😭 I loved most of the book, which hasn’t happened with a thriller in a long time. I thought this was going to be an easy 5 ⭐️ read for the first 80% of the book. Then the ending happened and it was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever experienced. I would honestly give that ending 1 star and that breaks my heart because I loved everything else about this book. I just thought there was so much potential to have an amazing ending and to have little things tie into each other. Even if the ending went in that same direction, I thought some aspects could have been done differently to make it even more dramatic. I don’t want to go into the details and spoil anything for anyone wanting to read it. I’m still going to give this one 4 stars because most of it was a good reading experience. The writing was phenomenal. The characters were great! The storyline was amazing. I loved the multiple point of views. I was engaged throughout the whole book. I will read anything this author writes & I do recommend checking this one out and let’s discuss it afterwards!

This is my fourth book by McKinnon and there’s no way in hell it will be my last! After reading THE NEIGHBORS last year I couldn’t wait for her newest book to release. YOU WILL REMEMBER ME is another binge worthy thriller with all the hallmarks you come to expect from Hannah Mary McKinnon. All the crazy characters, red herrings, twists, and just constantly making you second guess what will happen next.

I don’t want to accidentally spoil anything so I’ll keep the details to a minimum. When picking this up and knowing it had to do with a man waking up on a beach with no memory. There are a lot of thrillers out there dealing with amnesia and they all feel the same and can be predictable, but McKinnon found a way to throw a wrench in that with the epilogue! Oh my god. Do yourself a favor and make sure you read it because I was not expecting it to take that turn and I’m so happy it did!

Hannah Mary McKinnon remains an auto-buy author for me and I don’t see that ever changing. I recommend picking up any of her incredible books and I’m anxiously waiting for the next twisted thing she comes up with next! So happy this was our June #BuddyReadsToDieFor selection.

This was just a mediocre for me. The plot moved along quickly and there was suspense but there was no real mystery to solve or any twists. I also found the characters to be a little flat with not much substance.

A man wakes up on a beach in Maryland ,with a gash in his head wearing only a swimsuit and having no memory of who he is or how he got there. So starts Hannah Mary McKinnon's book, You Will Remember Me. At roughly the same time, Lily is entering her favorite breakfast spot to meet her boyfriend Jack. When he does not not show and he cannot be found, she reports him as a missing person. After finding an inscription on the watch he is wearing , he believes his name is Nick. a few faded memories coming back, the man recalls being from Maine, or at else maybe he does. He makes his way to there only to be accosted by a woman named Maya, who tells him he is her step-bother who has been missing for years. and his name is Asher.

The story is told through the eyes of each of these three characters. What may seem to be a simple authors' tool of "who is the amnesiac?" turns into a much more layered and twisted story. Each time the reader thinks they know the road this is going down, a new nugget of information is dropped to which changes the GPS navigation of the narrative. I thoroughly enjoyed reading You Will Remember Me.

Fast-paced and full of twists and turns, You Will Remember Me is a thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end.

You Will Remember Me is an amnesia thriller with a slow burn. The pacing picked up about half way through the book, and then the unusual twists and turns in the final chapters set the novel apart from similar stories in the genre. The story is told from multiple points of view, giving the reader a complete picture of the young man who wakes from unconsciousness on a Maryland beach with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Readers are either going to love or hate the ending, and reviews will largely reflect their opinion. Many thanks to Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for providing an ARC to review. *NetGalley Top Reviewer*

This was not what I expected at all. 🤯 I mean that in the best way.
Normally I don’t books with out a resolution but McKinnon (the queen of twist) blew my living mind with this ending.
YWRM is told in three points of view. The first pov is Ash who woke on a beach and he doesn’t know who or where he is. The second pov is Lily whose boyfriend went missing after going for a night swim. She starts to learn things about her boyfriend which left her even more devastated. The Third pov is Maya who is super worried about her brother because she hasn't seen her brother for at least two years. They are all connected and this where the fun begins. All three have secrets and some secret is more twisted than the other.
I think all three of the characters were super unlikeable which why I really loved the ending.

Recommend: If you are looking for fast pace thriller with secrets, lies, and a great ending then this the book for you .

I enjoy a thriller especially when it involves characters like this … two identities of the same person. Intrigue. Thrills. Suspense. It’s here! .

I’m thrilled to be taking part in the blog tour for this suspenseful thriller just out from Hannah Mary McKinnon: You Will Remember Me. A young man awakes on a beach with no memory of who he is. His girlfriend searches for him yet he finds his way to Maine where his family has been searching for him. But who his girlfriend knows and who his family knows seems like two different people.

This one was fast and fun and kept me guessing! Highly recommended it for those who like suspenseful mysteries!

Thanks for making me part of the tour and for my e-copy!

Holy hell! Hannah Mary McKinnon has done it again with her latest release You Will Remember Me. I read Sister Dear last year and loved it, and this one had the same creepy and suspenseful vibes. I was sure I'd figured things out but nope, once again I was kept guessing right until the very end. Told from multiple points of view with unreliable narrators, You Will Remember Me will have you flipping pages late into the to find out what happens. Thanks for another dark and twisty tale!

Two women. One guy with two identities. Lily is devastated when her boyfriend, Jack, goes missing. Lily really loves Jack, and she thinks she knows him. But when she goes searching for clues about his disappearance, she learns that Jack may not really be who he said he was. Another girl, Maya, has been trying to find her stepbrother, Asher, ever since he disappeared without a trace. He turns up unexpectedly, and Maya will do anything in her power to keep him from disappearing on her again. Eventually, Lil's search leads her to Maya's doorstep, and Asher/Jack. This is when things start to get interesting. I don't want to give anything away, but this book ended on a total cliffhanger. I am not usually a fan of cliffhanger books, as I like my resolutions neatly tied together, but McKinnon made this one work. I've yet to read a book by McKinnon that I didn't love, and this one was no exception. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but after thinking about it for a few days, as well as chatting with others who have read this book, I think it was brave and clever of McKinnon to end the book the way she did. I would love to see another story with these characters to see where their journey takes them. Thank you to the publisher for giving me a chance to read this book.

YOU WILL REMEMBER ME by Hannah Mary McKinnon is a dark and twisted psychological suspense/thriller that kept me turning the pages well into the night. A man Asher/Jack wakes up freezing on a beach in Maryland only wearing swim trunks with no memory. Somehow, he makes it to his hometown and is reunited with his stepsister, Maya Scott. She has been looking for him for two years, when he disappeared. Maya is determined to keep Ash home this time, as well as to keep their secrets buried. Lily Reid is frantic when her boyfriend, Jack goes missing. His truck is found on the beach, but there is no body. She finally find out where he is and heads to his hometown to see if she can help him recover his memory of their life together. Nothing goes according to plan.

The story is told from Maya's and Lily's points of view. I liked Lily, but as the story progresses, you find out that she has secrets that she has kept from Jack. The secrets that Maya and Asher have gradually come out and wow, they were enough to cause Ash to flee in the first place. I did figure out that part of the story before it was revealed, but there is more. This is a fast-paced and twisty story with some very damaged characters. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, there was another twist and the ending was not where I thought this one was going at all. Hannah Mary McKinnon has written a sinister, suspenseful, and absorbing story that had me glued to my phone as I listened intently, not wanting to miss anything. I didn’t know who I was to trust, were these narrators reliable? I found these characters relatable in a twisty way and I wanted Jack/Ash to figure out what had happened in his past so he could make a decision about his future. I liked both Maya and Lily at times, but wasn't sure who I wanted to come out on top. How was this going to play out? You will have to read or listen to it to find out.
