This was an absolutely charming read! I loved the friendships between the ladies. I feel like they made each other better!
And if it weren't for Flora's friends, she never would have met Mac.
At first I wasn't sure about him. The way he was described made me think he may be a bit full of himself--but I ended up really enjoying him and their romance together.
Just one look at the cover of this book and I knew I'd love it.
It's whimsical, charming, and the island setting had me falling in love!
Love Suzanne Snow books. She’s a great author to have on your shelf. Easy to read and really enjoyable.
The Garden of Little Roseby Suzanne Snow
A lovely enjoyable easy read . Well written beautifully set in the Scottish isles . Charming characters and good plot . An enjoyable weekend / beach read if you love gardens / gardening this is the book for you. 3.5/5
Every now and again you need a heartwarming, easy read to immerse yourself in, and this book provided just that for me.
A love story, a gorgeous setting and a delightful storyline, it is safe to say I truly enjoyed this book!.
*Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in return for my honest review.
Because of problems with my computer and e-reader my I didn't read the book and my copy has expired.
Had a hard time connecting with this one. Flora didn't jump off the page (in fact, she was rather buried among her friends who stood out way more!) and this didn't lead to me as the reader warming up to her at any point, since it felt like I missed the mark from the start. The rest of the story then felt rather contrived, happening around Flora rather than 'to' Flora, which made it a tad disjointed for me
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. What an absolutely beautiful cover. Great light hearted novel. Perfect weekend read.
Lovely feel good book to read. It was a joy to read. Lovely characters. Great plot. The book was charming. Very well written. I’d definitely recommend this book. Wonderful book to get lost in Had me hooked from the off
A lovely lighthearted romance made better for me as I love gardening and flowers. Set in the Scottish Isles made it a beautiful and romantic setting that made me want to go there. Perfect summer beach read

Scotland - check!
Hunky man - check!
Romance? - check!
It's gonna be a yes from me, dawg.
A really lovely story - sometimes the garden talk got a little too specific, but at the same time it was very interesting and I learnt something new!
The Garden of Little Rose was such a tease! I loved the initial descriptions of the abandoned gardens and was hoping the book would center on that and have the romance develop accordingly. Sadly, we quickly lose the garden and it becomes yet another formula romance with lots of miscommunication, etc.
Thank you to Net Galley for the ARC for an honest review.
What a delicious mixture of peaceful island, gardens and coast, and heated chemistry between the two main characters.
I warmed to Flora immediately, but I warmed to Mac even more. What a gorgeously sexy fella.
This was a smouldering slow burn romance in the most glorious setting. A real Scottish escape.
This is the story of Flora, a landscape gardener who goes on a short holiday with her friends and ends up inviting a complete stranger to her friends wedding.
Mac is the owner of the hotel that Flora is staying in and agrees to go to the wedding with her.
Flora and Mac have an instant connection but Mac has an ex girlfriend that causes some trouble and flora runs away and hides in her gardens.
Beautoful setting, really made me want to go to Arran.
I fell in love with the cover and then I fell in love with this well written story.
It's engrossing, well written, rooted for the characters and found it entertaining.
It's highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
A chance meeting leads Flora to a job on a remote Scottish island, in charge of renovating a garden. It's a really sweet story. leaving you totally immersed in the whole magical story. You feel her love of seeing a garden come to life under her guidance. Romance, friendships, beautiful setting- this book has it all. I will be keen to read more by Suzanne Snow.
I loved this ARC from Canelo and NetGalley. Flora is a horticulturist and is away in Scotland for a hen’a getaway with her friends Mel and Sophie and is dared to ask the next man who walks through the door to be her plus one for Mel’s wedding. That man just happens to be Mac, an architect who is restoring and old house. Without going too much away, they go to the wedding together and Flora is employed to help Mac restore the historic garden on his property. This was a really beautiful and heartwarming story with some lovely characters and a few good storyline.
Beautiful, so well written and a pleasure to read. The descriptions, the characters, and the pictures in your mind of the guest house and the garden make for a wonderful read. This is a book that everyone will enjoy and will get that feel good factor that we all need today. This has to be a 5 star novel and I recommend it.
Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this early ARC.
For love to grow, Flora will have to first dig up the past.
At a hen party on the remote Scottish island of Alana, Flora is dared to ask a handsome stranger to be her plus-one for the wedding. When the gorgeous Mac accepts her invite, she assumes he’s joking and thinks nothing more of it… Until he turns up at the church on the wedding day.
But Mac has an agenda. He wants to hire her skills as a horticulturist to restore the gardens at Róisín House, his home back on Alana. Flora knows she should refuse – Mac has ‘heartbreaker’ written all over him – but she can’t resist uncovering the tragic truth behind the garden at Róisín.
An honest review in return for reading it from Netgalley & Publishers thank you
I believe that this is the first for me from Suzanne Snow but it certainly wont be the last. I really enjoyed this story and its characters (some of which are quite complex) I loved the fact that Suzanne brought in a little girl with selective mutism which is something I didn't know a lot about so I really really enjoyed that element and found it enlightening. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to anyone looking to laugh cry and feel uplifted
I read this book in one sitting, I was immersed in Flora's gardening world x
I wholeheartedly agreed with the author on several comments about gardening and what a tonic it can be.
I loved the setting and the romanticism of it all.
Perfect to read between crime books.
