Cute Southern women's fiction. Wished for a little more romance, but the friendship relationships made the reading worthwhile.

Though I've had my problems in the past with Carolyn Brown books, I've always been able to finish each one. This time, however, I couldn't get past the first two chapters.

This particular series of hers is just not for me.
