This cover caught my eye as I love a festive book and especially one that is set in Britain! This is a cute story and I liked the characters and their development. It was a bit of a slow start for me and I wasn’t too invested but would suggest “Every Day in December” for a light, Christmas-y read.
Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for my digital arc in exchange for my honest review.
This is such a lovely Christmas story. Like Belle, I love Christmas so I identified very much with her character. The development of her and Rory's relationship is so lovely as she slowly converts him to the idea that despite the past, Christmas might not be so bad after all. Their story gives you all the warm, fuzzy feelings of hope you could wish for at Christmas. Highly recommend.
I always know what I'm looking for in holiday romances -- the cozy holiday atmosphere, and a distraction from the craziness of the world. Every Day in December is told in cute and quirky format (each chapter is a day in December), and so you get to journey through the holiday season with the characters. It's the perfect distraction from the world. Sink between the pages with a cup of hot cocoa and a roaring fire; it's basically free therapy.
I love a nice holiday romance even when it isn’t the holidays! It was festive and absolutely adorable.
Belle has just lost her job, her family relationships are terrible and she faces an uncertain financial future, even though her father is rich and famous. However, she had an idea and a project that has been her passion for ever. She meets up with an old uni friend, Rory, who is back home with his own issues, and decides a bit of Christmas cheering up is required. So every day in December they either talk or go out and find that Belle has the lightness that Rory needs, while Rory provides direction and support to help Belle with her project. Neither of them want to get into any kind of romantic relationship at all...... Lovely read, warm characters, and some nice Christmas events around Bristol that I would love to go to!
I am not normally into books that involve a lot of sadness or grief, but this book was so nice and heartwarming. I loved how Belle and Rory's stories come together. They were able to teach each other and grow together, it was honestly so cute. How the story begins is what really captured my attention. I love how Belle was such a good and supportive friend. I also love how hilarious that scene of her driving her friend to the hospital was. I also thought it was super interesting how this funny scene is juxtaposed to Rory's being in the hospital for a sadder reason. Their connection blossomed so organically and it was just so nice to see a somewhat realistic portrayal of love.
I loved how this story started out. But man this one broke my heart. It was a story of true love but didn’t end happily. I did enjoy that sometimes life is like that and this gave that perspective. It was a perfect winter read, would recommend to friends.
This was a cute, easy read with some nice elements. It was formulaic, so if you're looking for an easy read, this is the one for you!
This was a cute read! Def recommend anyone who loves Brit-Lit style romance book. They are definitely some of my favorites.
This was a wonderful holiday read! Really loved it. I’d like to read more from this author based on this believable storyline and lovable characters.
This book was slow to me. Parts I enjoyed and others I didn’t. I really thought I would enjoy this book more than I did. I am not sure I would recommend this book.
I had high hopes for this book, I loved the cover, the blurb seems promising but unfortunately it was a DNF for me.
I found myself not being able to get fully invested in the story, I lacked a connection with the characters which caused me to stop reading. I wish I had been able to finish because I feel it had potential but unfortunately I had to move on.
This book kept me on my toes. The premise is so interesting, once I got into the rhythm of the writing, I could not put the book down. Very cute and heartwarming.
What a ride, a romantic novel with quite some characters and a lovely quote for every single day in December.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of the book.
This checked off everything I look for in a book. Was not disappointed. Really enjoyed this book. I will read more from this author. Must read! Go and get this book
Just the Christmas romance I needed !! Definitely read this if you're looking for a cute and quick read during the festive season.
I really enjoyed this book. It was such a well laid out book. I loved how it worked through the month and how we got to see both sides of the life's of the main characters.
I did get a little meh about all the miscommunication about their feelings towards each other but it was the perfect way to start December.
This was a brilliant read and is being featured on my blog for my quick star reviews feature, which I have created on my blog so I can catch up with all the books I have read and therefore review.

A cute Christmas story about two friends reuniting and falling in love. It was a little slow for me, but I am glad I read it around Christmas time. It would make a cute movie!
Thanks to NetGalley and One More Chapter, HarperCollins UK for the arc. I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Good fun book, loved the enthusiasm of the main character and how she tries to make the male character love Christmas like she does. Easy read, would recommend
