Heartwarming book that reminds us to be grateful to God for our blessings. Cute illustrations and age appropriate.

This was a gorgeously illustrated bedtime book that my grandson loved. We read it several times when he was here for a sleepover and then again today. He loved the animals, especially when they were snuggled up with a parent. He said the names and listened when I read the short text on each page. The text was written in a rhyming, poem form that flowed easily and had an easy cadence to read aloud. The simple sentences were also easy for my 7 year old grandson to read aloud to his siblings. It is a sweet book with a beautiful faith based message thanking God and that you are loved. I will be buying a few of these to have on hand for new parents.

This is a sweet bedtime story, a rhyming prayer, that is perfect to settle little ones before they drift off to Dreamland. The easy flow of the words are calming and a beautiful way to quiet little ones hearts and position them for a lovely night's sleep. The book acknowledges God's love and blessings He has for us.

The illustrations are soft and whimsical depicting adorable animals that young children can relate to and will love. It's a positive, feel good book that releases happy pleasant thoughts into the spirit. This book would make a wonderful gift for a newborn, a baptism or an anytime event. It is a celebration of the blessings that surround us all.

"One more thing before I dream...
Thank you, God, for everything!

Thank you, God, for family dear
helpers, teachers far and near

Thank you, God for friends and fun.
Memory making, rain or sun"

I highly recommend "Thank You God Good Night".

I loved Thank You God, Good Night by Marianne Richmond. It is a story that could easily become a toddler’s nightly must read book but one that an older child could appreciate too. The drawing which are mostly of animal parent with their young were sweetly lovely. Our family like the skunk family picture best, so this had more than the usual bunnies and owls pictured. Though it was the owl on the cover that had my kindergarten granddaughter asking me to request it to read..

The text is a poem that flows beautifully. My third grade granddaughter could easily read it. She was the first to notice that it was a poem and appreciated how it rhymed. She thought it was wonderful to have the artwork even if the pictures could sometimes be interchanged from one part to another. I liked the gratitude to God aspect of the poem the most, simple but true. We all agreed that the print copy would be a perfect gift for a toddler or as a new baby gift.

The publisher through Net Galley provided a digital ARC. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts.

A sweet prayer for Night time with little ones. It makes a nice ritual and quiets the heart and mind. Each page is something to be thankful to God for. The illustrations are baby friendly with baby animals thanking and enjoying what God has given.

A special thank you to SourceBooks Kids and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.
