An idol and his number one fan switch bodies after a freak accident. That is the synopsis...aaand that's basically it. I hoped to like this or at least to be entertained, but it was just meh. Azusa( the fangirl) is OBSESSED with the idol guy, Chikashi. And it's annoying honestly. There were a couple of funny scenes of them being in each other's bodies and acting weird, those were genuinely fun. But I wasn't interested in the romance at all. Really, what kind of romantic relationship can there be between a star and his way to obsessive fan? Sadly, this one didn't work for me and I won't be continuing with the series.
Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Honestly, I did not even have a slight clue what this was about before picking it up. However, I really enjoyed JUNKO's Kiss Him, Not Me, and I could not pass up reading this.
So this follows a guy that is in a pop idol group and, basically, his biggest fan. There is an accident at one of his concerts and while she tries to save him, they both end up dying. Then they're brought back to life. But in the wrong bodies!
From there wackiness ensues. So far it is a little bit silly, but I'm really enjoying myself and I definitely need to continue on in the series!

A humorous pretense with high school girls, pop idols and the shenanigans that ensue when they randomly change bodies. Seems like it could develop into a fun series given time. I would definitely like to read more.
I already knew Junko from previous manga so nothing in this was very surprising, in my opinion - it all fits Junko’s stuff quite well, and even has some BL in the middle. The art is very pretty, as expected, and I absolutely love the main boy.
The story is about Azusa Asahina, a girl obsessed with the idol group P4U, and one of its members, Chikashi Chida. One day, during a concert, she tries to rescue him from falling stage lights and they both end up dead. It’s treated very lightly, in a funny way, and they get sent back because their death was apparently a mistake lol but when they’re back to their bodies, they’ve been switched. So now Azusa has to deal with pretending to be an idol while fangirling over being in her idol’s body, while Chikashi suffers with stress.
It’s very light and so far I haven’t really seen any depth to the characters, but I am interested in Chikashi and his P4U idol group; I really want to get to know them better, and I hope in future volumes Azusa chills a bit and gets to go through some character development too. The only thing that really bothered me - besides Azusa’s over the top personality - was the way some scenes were treated, as if making a joke out of (the possibility of) sexual harassment.
Anyway, it’s fun and I want to read more.
This manga has a potential. It was really funny and enjoyable. I hope the story will get better in the next volume.
A utterly hilarious body switching story. Azusa is a hardcore fan of Chika, who is a popular star in a idol group. During one of their concerts the lights fall and she tries to save him, unfortunately they both die..... until God gives them a second chance as they weren’t suppose to die and sends them back. The problem? He sent their souls back into each other’s body. Now Azusa and Chika have to find a way to navigate this and keep it a secret. So ensues a bunch of funny incidences and moments. It’s a great start to the series and I can’t wait to see where it goes next!
*Thanks Netgalley and Kodansha Comics for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*
