Unassisted is a book about being thrust into chaos and having to find some type of balance in it all, while holding down a hectic job, a new marriage, a crashing economy, and facing health struggles. Erin takes us into her world, as she manages to create a new home and sense of self in her newly blended family, as well as having to create a home for those in the assisted living facility she manages. Funny, raw, and charming, Stammer manages to somehow do it all, while also putting a smile on your face.

Super book. Love memoirs and this was right up my alley. Liked hearing her horror stories about her job.

Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.
