This is the best way to write enemies to lovers. I love the humor, the intensity, the banter, the tension, just about everything all around. Love the storyline especially

This one utterly lacked chemistry and thus readability for me. The relationship and rapport felt forced, as in the author needed this/that to happen so it happened, but without developing organically on the page. Also felt the deep connection to the POV was lacking if not missing at times, which further gave me a 'detached' feel from this rather than getting me engrossed in the plot and rooting for the HEA

Fashion designer Mia Serenghetti desperately needs a date for the biggest gala of the season. Her only option? The smoldering tech hotshot Damian Musil—whose family is the Serenghettis’ greatest rival in the construction business back home. When the unexpected heat between them proves anything but make-believe, will they risk reputation and family to explore their intense connection? Falling for Mr. Wrong has never been so dangerous…nor felt so right.

I haven’t been able to finish this book. I figured it’s just not for me. And so, I’m not going to post a review to Goodreads. Thanks for the e-ARC I received.

Sweet, this book was right in many ways, hot, spicy, and tantalizingly delectable. A beautiful scintillating story that warms the heart and sets it a panting. I love Mia’s character she was badass, and takes no nonsense from anyone, even Damian. I enjoyed this book immensely, a great must-read.

This book is one of my favourite Harlequin books so far this year.
This is a series but you don't have to read any of the other books at all.
If you like romance tropes, enemies to lovers and fake dating you might like this one.

This is a really good story. I loved how the main characters had lots of roadblocks but love won out. This is a book I couldn’t put down.

My feelings about this book is neutral. Nothing particular really stood out for me in this book. Besides, the ending seemed rushed. A lot of information was missing. The author mentioned so much about the family rivalry, yet she didn't focus on that part about how the bond was formed between the both families when Damian and Mia finally got together. Like how did they behave in each others present as they went from being enemies to being families? I also wish there were some kinda family moments like a picnic or a get together or something like that. I was kinda disappointed. Anyway, you can give it a try if you want a light read.

Mia and Damien come from feuding families. He's always been attracted to her, but she's wary of him. They agree to accompany each other to a couple of social events for business reasons—nothing more. But when her family objects to her dating him, rebel Mia starts thinking it wouldn't be such a bad idea to get to know him better. But is Damien using her for his own ends—and to seek revenge on her family?

Damien is such a sweetheart in this book. A few times I wanted to shake Mia for keeping her distance. I confess, I did not see the twist toward the end coming. If you like the family feud trope, you will likely enjoy this book.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Fun enemies to lovers story. Mia needs a date for the Ruby Ball. The man she had been dating just got married to someone else. Then Mia mistakes a man at a costume ball for her second choice and discovers that she laid a lip-lock on Damian Musil. She and Damian grew up in the same town, and their families are business rivals, so she's shocked when Damian suggests that he be her date.

Though Mia doesn't know it, Damian has been attracted to her for a long time. This event provides the opportunity he needs to get closer to her. Mia is wary, well aware of the animosity her family holds for his. But Damian has an ace up his sleeve to tip the balance his way. Mia soon finds herself embroiled in a fake relationship that becomes all too real.

I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Damian and Mia. At first, it was just the ball, then Damian needed her for a business outing. It doesn't take long for them to realize that they actually liked each other, in addition to the attraction that burned between them. I liked seeing them spend time together and build a friendship before taking the next step. The more time they spend together, the deeper their feelings grow, though neither admits it. For Mia, the animosity between the two families is a significant obstacle. Things go quite well between them until a recent purchase by Damian's company impacts Mia's family. I ached for both of them, as Mia felt betrayed and Damian was just confused. I loved the advice Damian got from his dad and what he did to make things right. The epilogue was great.

The family dynamics in the book were interesting. Mia's brothers Cole and Jordan irritated me with their attitudes toward Damian. I loved the scene at the beginning where he backed up Mia with her family. It was fun to see him refuse to get riled no matter what they said. I also liked Mia's encounter with Damian's father and brother. Though I haven't read the other books in the series (yet), there was enough background dropped in through the book that I wasn't lost.

4 stars!

This is my first time reading this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the book. I love a good old rivals to lovers romance and this book definitely delivered it. Also it has a fake relationship trope. I couldn't have asked for more. Damian and Mia were great together and I absolutely loved them. Mia is a fashion designer whereas Damian is a techy. Mia needs a date for a fashion gala and Damian offers to help her by being her date. Also they belong to feuding families. I loved the banter between them and also the steamy scenes.

I really enjoyed reading the love story between Mia and Damian. This is a Romeo and Juliet story, with a HEA! I haven't read the first books in the Serenghetti Brothers series, but this book definitely has me ready to jump backwards into the beginnings of the series. Damian is a drool-worthy Hero and Mia is the perfect partner for him. I very much enjoyed this book and thank Anna DePalo an NetGallery for the advanced copy. 5 stars!

** I received this as an E-ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review, Thank you!**

This was unfortunately not for me. I will completely admit that I think this was just personal preference. I just didn't get along with the writing in this book. Because of that I also just didn't feel any connection to any of the characters. If you're interested in the synopsis I would recommend giving it a read .

Thank you Netgalley for adding “So Right With Wrong” to your wish list and allowing me to receive a copy.

I so love fake relationships and friends to lover’s romance. Mia is a fashion designer and Damian is a hot shot tech. Their families are rivals hence making romantic relationships and being friends hard the couple.

Mia needs a date for a fashion gala. She meets Damian at an event and Damian agrees to escort her to the event since they are both without dates. Damian and Mia have a hot and steamy relationship, will it last or fizzle away?

What happens when two rivals get together? Will they convince their families to stop the feuding and get along or will they part ways? Inquiring minds want to know, pick up your copy today. You will not be disappointed.

The characters are great, there’s steamy hot romance, funny situations and an easy read.

I have to go back and purchase the first three books of the Serenghetti Brothers, these brothers are hot, sexy and oh so handsome.

I received an ARC via Netgalley and I’m voluntarily leaving my review.

Anna DePalo is one of my favorites romance writers, and I really enjoyed this book.

The book itself had like three of my favorite romance tropes, enemies to lovers, fake dating, and secret longing for each other, with notable mentions of I shouldn't have done this.

The story follows two characters that have similar but at the same time different upbringings, their families are rivals which explains the animosity between them at the start of the book.

The story goes like this without spoilers:

Mia needs a date for his big fashion event, and at a party she meets with Damian and they have an accidental first encounter, Damian offers to go with her because something happens between them that lead to her being single and needing a date, so as a way to they been in good terms he offers to go with her, which she doesn't agree right away, then something of his business life needs her to get him in this fashion event.

Things happen if you know this kind of books, romance a bit of misunderstand it.

I highly recommend it to people with a love for romance.

Fake dating is the order of the day here. This is supposed to put an end to a long standing feud between Damian and Mia's families. This is a short, fun read and I really enjoyed the ending. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to review an early copy of this.

This is a romance that starts with a fake relationship. The two main characters families has a long standing family feud. I loved the characters, and the family feud added something extra to the book that made it fun to read. This is a short and quick read, but this book did not pull me in from the beginning. I have to say once I was pulled in that I did not want to stop reading the book. The ending was cute and fun. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Desire) or author (Anna DePalo) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is schedule to be release on April 13-2021.

A sweet love story showing that with a little hope and some steamy love even the worst of enemies can find common ground!

Damian and Mia started off hot and heavy but when Mia realizes her mistake it’s too late and Damian will stop at nothing to make her his! I loved how these two didn’t jump straight Into the throws of passion but let their friendship build so when their relationship went to the next level you knew their connection was only going to grow!

The witty banter and funny barbs really take this book to the next level and I loved every word as well as enjoyed the journey!

Mia is looking forward to attending the Ruby Ball, a fashion industry event, and she has to find a plus one in less than two weeks. Her would-be escort Carl was her boyfriend before he broke up with Mia and married a kindergarten teacher he met on a plane ride.

Mia finally finds a guy named Sam and when he shows up at a birthday costume party 🎉🎭—she locks lips with him in the dim light. Only she’s just realized a little too late that she’s just kissed Damian Musil.

Apparently, there’s been bad blood between the Musil and the Serenghetti families. Mia blames Damian for her breakup with Carl though Damian thinks Carl isn’t the man for her. With the date of the ball looming near, Damian volunteers to go as Mia’s escort. But Mia turns him down.

Thank you to Anna DePalo, NetGalley and Harlequin Desire for the ARC of thus book.
