Pine Creek courtship is a sweet journey of friendship, healing and love. Emma has faced the loss of her mother and now the loss of her father. Being a single young woman raising her siblings in the Amish community is a challenge. Her busybody aunt, while well meaning, ends up adding to the challenges when she tries to secure a husband for Emma.

While this book starts out with the typical "a man will fix it all" vibe it is actually a story of self discovery. Emma learns how capable and brave she is when faced with adversity. She also learns the important lesson of allowing the right kinds of people to love her and care for her.

Hope's debut work of Amish fiction reads smoothly and feels right. The beautiful scene of Amish life she paints is believable without beong overdone. And the characters are well developed. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading her future works.

After the death of her father, Emma must try to save the farm and keep heryounger siblings together. Her meddling aunt has other ideas. She wants to sell and ship of the children. When Levi steps up with a plan, Emma has to figure is it all worth it?

I enjoyed the characters and the setting. Somehow a caring family setting with a little bit or drama was nice.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes Amish romance, clean Christian romance as well.

As I read this book I couldn’t help but reflect on all Emma Ziegler has been through in her young life, she has given her all, helped raise her siblings, one from birth, and worked to help the family make a living.
You can almost feel how broken she is when her aunt decides to marry her and let someone buy her Dad’s farm. She has just buried her father, and wants to keep her family together, but to marry someone she really doesn’t care for?
When her neighbor hears this he steps in and declares he is courting, more truth than poetry here, but will Emma accept him.
Will Emma’s pride and determination get in the way of happiness, or will she be able to accept help from others? There are answers here, and we journey along with the author for answers!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Entangled Publishing, LLC, and was not required to give a positive review.
