I appreciate this review is well and truly overdue so I shall keep it short. Falling Down Under is the story of a pampered socialite who has lost her family, money and dignity. Following the loss of the former, she embarks on a journey back to her Australian roots and the first boy with which she ever fell in love. From there, the whole tale opens up into a tale of hope, rekindled connection and the righting of one's path.

WIth a love interest that is both sweet but also prickly, FDU is bound to appeal to the seasoned romantic, leaving you wanting more from this cute story of reconciliation. I will however say that the final 20% felt very rushed with the final conflict and HEA happening within mere pages.

A great read for those who love romance, meet cutes and tales of the Australian way of life, its definitely one I will be recommending to customers and friends alike

This story is the ultimate second-chance romance. The two main characters are childhood friends, who became lovers when they got older, but then were separated due to unfortunate circumstances. Then, years later, due to another unfortunate circumstance they’re brought back together. At this point there is some explaining needed to be done, feelings revisited, and decisions having to be made. But, of course, this wouldn’t be much of a story if there wasn’t some angst along the way. *grins*
But, as you’ll see when you read, there’s not just our MCs who have angst going on. The MCs and supporting characters in this story made me groan, laugh, fume, snicker, and shake my head. A very fun read for me.

Falling Down Under was such a fun book to devour! In it, you will meet Georgia. Her life is all kinds of messy. Especially after her father died and her wicket stepfamily is trying to take every penny away from her. So when the will is read and she get's left with nothing... well, shit hits the fan.

She's beyond broke and her boyfriend, Jax, just broke up with her as well. So she does the only thing she can do - she calls her Nan and goes back home to Australia. Honestly, I was digging the whole family owned vineyard. Okay, I was actually super jealous because I don't have one myself so I decided to live vicariously through Georgia.

While she's there, she actually runs into her ex-boyfriend Jared. They were definitely each other's high school loves and things were awkward as hell between during this reunion. Mostly because of how things ended between them. It didn't take long for the tension and feelings to creep back up either. So, yes, it was very easy to ship these two together and I was very excited the entire time.

Now the romance was adorable but the drama was way too predictable. It was easy to spot what was going on between some of the side characters and I'm very excited for when they get their own books. Then the thing with Jax, yeah, I knew that was going to happen but I'm glad that Jared and Georgia talked about it before anyone started to assume the worst.

In the end, I will forever be dreaming about a family owned winery.

I read this book a few months back and completely forgot to write a review so this is all going to be from memory to the best of my ability.

I remember REALLY loving this book. The main character’s voice struck out to me from the start. I was pulled into the story very quickly and found it hard to put the book down, because I just wanted to finish this story.

It was a very cute story, but I do remember that I thought the story felt a little underdeveloped. As if the plot line didn’t really know where it was going at times. I didn’t feel like the big conflict (being saving the vineyard) was ....an actual challenge for the main character. She didn’t really face too many hurdles or problems in that aspect. And the conflict between the main love interests at the end of the series was kind of ....lame? Like I was expecting a bigger fight/make up.

Overall though it was enjoyable and it seems like the author is going to have other couples in the same world that I will definitely read because I liked picking up on those subtle hints at future romances.

Definitely recommend if you’re into cute adult romances :)

I really wanted to enjoy this one as the premise but I just couldn't connect with the characters or the story. I sadly had to dnf but I saw that a lot of people loved this book so go give it a try!

Falling Down Under is every bit the getaway book you're looking for; with a female mc, Georgia, that is both relatable and funny and the male mc, Jared, that may be standoffish at times but can make you swoon. This sounds like the perfect setup for a destructive vacation.

I love how you gradually see the growth of these characters throughout the book, you really get the gist that they are carrying emotional baggage with how they act around each other. Plus their banters were really the cherry on the top. I devoured every interaction they have. Lastly, we also get a very alluring appearance from a--kangaroo!

A lovely book in totality. If you ever need a light book filled with fun stuff, this one is for you.

Georgia Bailey is a London socialite who’s life has been flipped upside down. After the sudden death of her estranged father, Georgia’s stepmother manages to take everything. This was an enjoyable read with some great character development. It did feel like it was missing a little something though. I think the relationship needed a touch more fire and passion. After all the waiting, when they finally got together, it just felt a little flat. Things seemed to go really smoothly for everyone over the whole story and I think a little drama really could have made it more interesting. I did really love the vineyard setting and the way Georgia thrived once she was there.

All in all this was a quick and easy read, but as a regular romance reader it felt a little less romance and more like a general contemporary read.

Falling Down Under is a fun read that introduces a group of characters I can’t wait to read more about in the following books! Georgia has lost everything but when she returns to Australia where she spent her summers she is reunited with her maternal grandparents as well as a whole life she left behind, not to mention her first love!

This book doesn’t have a high risk problem for most of the book, instead finding Georgia thriving with her life changes but it stays interesting because the growth of her character alongside the life on the vineyard are so charming that you want more. The love is so wonderfully rooted in memories that there is no instalove, but also doesn’t happen easily because it acknowledges the time and space that have come between the characters. Choose this book when you want to feel like you are with friends, just in a to die for atmosphere, and to remind yourself that simple isn’t a bad thing.

Jared and Georgia's relationship was fun and flirty, making this book a great escape when you just want to read!

It’s another cold and rainy day, so what better than an escape to an Australian vineyard? When I saw this one described as a mix between a 90’s romcom and a Netflix love story, how could I pass it up?!

When London socialite, Georgia, learns that her recently passed father disinherited her from his will and left her nothing, she’s stuck. When she comes home to her boyfriend ending their relationship to save his own face, she’s lost. With nowhere to turn and no money to support herself, her only choice is to return to her mother’s hometown in Australia and the vineyard her family runs. Not everyone is happy to see Georgia, though. Her childhood best friend turned first love is the head chef at the vineyard restaurant and the last thing he wants is Georgia in his kitchen or his life. That’s the thing about love, though, you don’t get a say.

This book is fast paced, light and fun! The angst is basically non-existent and there really wasn’t much conflict at all, which can make the plot a little predictable. I still loved Georgia and Jared and I was rooting for them the whole time! You get the small town feel with the amazing side characters to go with it and Errin Krystal sets readers up for a great series! I’m hoping and assuming we’re going to see Allegra’s story next and I’m excited for that one!

I love a second chance romance and this book is a great example of that genre. Georgia is a wealthy social influencer, who upon the death of her father, finds herself disinherited with her reputation in tatters. Her rockstar boyfriend dumps her and she is left with no choice but to go back to Australia and her grandparents winery. Working at said winery is her first serious love, Jared, who is the chef in the restaurant.
After the initial awkwardness, Georgia and Jared find a working rhythm. Georgia comes out of her funk and starts to use her social media skills to benefit the winery which is in financial difficulty. Even though this is a well loved theme-plucky heiress loses everything and finds a way to be a responsible adult- I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Apparently this author generally writes fantasy fiction but she’s doing a great job with contemporary romance. She plots a great story with a believable HEA and throws out a few hints of possible future couples that definitely need their own books

Falling Down Under by Errin Krystal is the first book in the Seven Sisters Vineyard series and the first book I have read from this author.

It is a second chance romance with a HEA that will leave you feeling warm and gooey. With a host of interesting characters and a rural Australian setting (complete with a resident kangaroo) this was an easy, entertaining read for lovers of the chic lit genre. It was also very much about saving the family business that seems to have become a second home to those involved.

A heartwarming 4 star read. I look forward to reading more books by this author. Falling Down Under by Errin Krystal is out now.

This is a second chance romance and it was a quick, fun read. The first book I've read from Errin and I loved it.

I loved the characters and that cute Kangaroo lol. I went to visit Australia when I was 13 and reading this book makes me want to go back. Long as I'm guaranteed a sexy and grumpy chef I'll be happy lol.

Really good book. She loses her father and with it her finances take a turn for the worse. Estranged from family she reaches out to her grandmother on the other side of the world where her ex is now chef. I enjoyed the character development and maturity as she grew into her own career using her experiences in life. He's reluctant to let her in after the way they ended their relationship. There a cute kangaroo! Solid 3.5 stars.

I dd not end up downloading the book prior to the archive. I even received a link to download on March 5th but that did not work. I will update this review when I read the book.

This was a quick, fun read. It’s billed as a romantic comedy, but…I’d say it’s more “light reading” than “comedic.” I had mixed feelings about Georgia: while I felt sorry for her struggles, it was a bit hard to feel completely sympathetic, as she’d been pretty crappy to people and totally self-absorbed. I ended up liking her, as she grew into a more normal person—not just a party-girl heiress.

Her stepmom and step-sister were pretty cliched and one-dimensional, and the rest of the secondary characters—who will, I’m sure, feature in later books in this series—were likable enough. If you’re looking for a light read—or a beach read—this would be a good choice.

Falling Down Under is a sweet romance set in rural Australia. Former socialite Georgia heads to her grandparents' vineyard, penniless, after years away. She walks into their restaurant, introduces herself to the man working there, aaaand realizes it's her first love. Who she didn't recognize. Despite wearing *his* sweatshirt from all those years ago.

This is a second chance romance with a dash of sunshine and the grump, and a whole host of characters working to revive the family vineyard. There's a kangaroo on the premises that basically acts like the vineyard dog which I absolutely loved picturing (though he could've gotten a few more mentions!).

The romantic conflict in this one is minor and short-lived. The larger concern, really, is the fate of the vineyard.

An enjoyable quick read.
