I was so intrigued by the summary of this book, particularly the setup of three seemingly unconnected lives tying together. Unfortunately, it couldn't hold my attention. I was initially interested in Shae's perspective, but as the story went on, I began to lose interest. It wasn't until almost halfway through the book that the plot properly started.
I think if the pacing was better and some of the dialogue smoothed out, I would have liked this one a lot more. Hopefully it will be a stronger fit for other readers.
