A great start to a new series. Ms. Liasson has a way of developing the characters so you really get to know them. Hadley Wells, celebrity PR in LA, heads home to Seashell Harbor for the summer after the split with Cooper Hemsley, the actor. She actually hoping to reassess her life. Tony Cammareri is back in his home town of Seashell Harbor after a knee injury that caused him to lose his career as a football player. Tony was Hadley's old high school love. Years ago he broke off with her by leaving her a sticky note. Can she ever forgive him? Hadley's grandmother owns a dog boarding business, Pooch Palace and has not been taking in boarders recently and is thinking of retiring. Tony also known by all as Cam wants to buy her grandmother's building to open a restaurant. Hadley is thinking of starting a shelter for dogs. It seems they are both in competition to get the building. This is a must read. You get to know the other characters. Hadley's best friends Kit and Darla. Tony's brother Nick. Nick is Darla's ex-husband. There is so much for more to this story. I highly recommend this book.
Thank you to NetGalley, Miranda Liasson, and Forever Publishing for the ARC of Coming Home to Seashell Harbor. I really enjoyed this second chance romance set in the quaint town of Seashell Harbor. I love small town romances so this was really cute. I need an uplifting book with a happily ever after and this didn’t disappoint!
Second chance romances are my favorite kind of story, and this one did not disappoint! This is the first book in a new series, and I am so excited that I’ll get to go back and visit some of the side characters from this book in the future. The town of Seashell Harbor made for a great setting, and this book had several interesting side characters. Hadley and Cam are two great characters that I liked from the beginning. I loved watching them learn and grow as the book went on, trying to figure out what their happy ending should look like. This book was just the happy escape I needed right now! I received an ARC from netgalley, and this is my honest review.
