The book dives into conversations we often shy away from, grief, love, aging, and regret. Anna handles each topic with such empathy, honesty, and sensitivity.
I wasn’t familiar with Anna Sale’s podcast before reading this, but her storytelling felt so personal, yet universal and it made me reflect on the tough things in life in a whole new way. This isn’t just a self-help book; it’s a deeply human exploration of the difficult parts of being alive.

I absolutely loved this book! I found it hard to put down. I highly recommend reading it! You won’t be disappointed.

I have never listened to Anna Sale's podcast so I guess I was going in to this one a little bit blind! I really enjoyed her thoughts and stories about some of the hard topics that you don't really want to talk about sometimes but that you KNOW should be talked about. It was nice to start the book with some tips on how to have these types of conversations as well with others.
You can tell there was a lot of research done when it came to interviewing other individuals as well. A lot of good information in here! Makes me almost want to start having deep conversations with everyone I meet now and get down to the gritty details in life

Sale dives in for the deep stuff in Let's Talk About Hard Things. And it's hard, but it's good! The topics that are covered are hard things everyone deals with in life but find hard to talk about. It was really interesting seeing the process Sale goes through to broach difficult topics with people.
Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
