Considering the young age group, this is a perfectly fitting, very simple yet funny little book.
I wonder whether the hat coming back to the bear should stand for: Sometimes, in life surprises do happen?
I really liked the tale about the travel of the bear's hat.
This is such an adorable read! Rainbow Hat is about Bear who loses his hat and goes on an adventure to retrieve it. As the reader follows Bear we meet his friends and the little journey Bear and his hat go on. It's quite amusing.
I absolutely love how simple yet effective the visuals are in this book. The vibrant colours are eye-catching and gorgeous. I also love how cute the art style is.
This is such a fun read and I can't wait to read this to my niece and nephew as I'm sure they'll love this.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A short story about animals, their actions and a hat. The illustrations are bright and eye catching. It's a sweet story, bound to delight young audiences.
Cute art with lots of animals environments, and actions to learn about. I wish Bear had taken a more active role in the return f his hat, but he's cute enough that I won't mind too much.
So cute! I was originally attracted to this book because of the colorful illustration on the cover. The style of the illustration reminded me of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which is also a beautiful book. I could see myself reading this to my younger cousins and having them love the illustration as much as I do, as well as the simple story that will both keep their attention and not get too repetitive if they ask me to read it a billion times.
Great story for small children learning their animals and enjoying shorter colorful books. The illustrations are vibrant and the story is fun.
The rainbow hat in this story belongs to a bear, who gets it blown off his head one day and has to have a right adventure to get it back. The different animals that provide the titfer with its journey, and their different ways of moving, are the focus of the wee little story, and the visuals are strong enough to make this early reader a success.
