Ok, I feel like I should tell you that when I requested this book from Publisher I did not realise that it is in fact book three in a series. My bad, I know. But since I received it, I felt like it's only fair to give it a try, read it and try to make the best of it.
To my surprise it was written in such a way that even though you're aware that things happened before that are still revelavent to the story, it's all so well explained that you have general idea of the events without being crushed by info dump. I'd like to applaude the authors here, because that really requires skills.

I really liked Charlie, the protagonist, and the other characters.
The plot is pretty basic - and by all means I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I actually appreciated the fact that there was no layer upon layer upon another layer of intrigues as it's very popular in thrillers these days.
My only problem was with the fact who the stalker turned out to be.

The most important thing about this book is that IT IS CREEPY. From the beginning I felt uneasy reading it, because there is nothing more terryfying than someone slatking you, watching you when you're not aware, having all these thoughts you're meant to be because you randomly smiled at him. It's terryfying to know someone could just creep into your house in the middle of the night with you being none the wiser.

But the most terryfying thing is the thought that the police will do absolutely nothing until you get killed. And that's a sad sad fact. Stalking is a serious crime, a serious thing that's being brushed off by police all over the world. They say "oh they just have a crush on you", "you should be flattered", "it's because you're pretty", "they'll get over it", "they sent you flowers and you're complaining", "have you encourages them", "it's nothing".
Until someone ends up dead.

Oh my goodness what a creepy, heart pounding opening - had me checking the doors and windows that's for sure.

She fears she is being stalked and with no immediate help from the police she desperately needs their assistance.

I'm loving this series and once again their's plenty of nail biting action, many twists and turns and a fabulous cast of characters, Uncle Frank, Paige, Deputy Zoe and Will to help Charlie in her search for the perpetrator.

I very much look forward to meeting Charlie and the team in the next novel.

This book is easy to read and the language is good, but it's a simple little plot made into a novel by an overload of descriptions and details we don't really need. That her sister broke a kitchen tile many years ago isn't very important. In addition, none of the physical altercations sound realistic, and the main character isn't very smart. I like the opposite.

The tension in new Charlotte Winters book keeps ratcheting up in the first chapters until you find yourself forgetting to take a breath. When you finally take that breath your heart is pounding so hard you think it will come out of your chest. I dare you to read the first few chapters and then be able to walk away from this book.

Emma Jacobis walks into Charlie Winters business and life. A young, terrified woman being watched and terrified by someone. She'd been to the police to make a report but of since nothing violent had happened yet they didn't do anything more than take the report. Charlie intended to do more, much more. Find out who this person is and protect Emma. Sadly things go very wrong.

This book is touches on some of the deepest fears that anyone can have in their life. Being totally out of control of your life and who is watching you without your knowledge. It really made me take stock of who is around me and how much I really know them.

Helping Charlie again are Paige, Uncle Frank, Zoe and of course ever with her Allie.

Emma Jacobis comes to Charlie for help, believing that she is being stalked. She thinks someone has been in her house and has left her an intimate picture of herself sleeping. Charlie believes her, but before she can act Emma disappears and is found dead a short time later. When Olivia comes forward with a strange tale of abduction Charlie is sure she is hunting a predator.

I enjoyed Watch Her Sleep which is what I call a straightforward hunt novel, in that it focuses on finding a killer and moves forward in linear fashion. It has one major twist but generally follows the formula of investigate until the options narrow.

The novel is mostly told from Charlie’s point of view with the unnamed killer making an appearance to describe some of his actions and explain his mindset. I didn’t find this latter particularly convincing but there have been enough articles about it in recent years to assure me that it’s real. The plot comprises of Charlie’s investigation and culminates in a violent showdown with the killer. The novel is well conceived but lacks the oomph of a compulsive read. I found it easy to put down.

Who knew that Charlie was such a mean fighter? I didn’t associate her with these skills but she’s certainly kick ass. Otherwise she’s still dithering about a relationship with Will and arguing with her dead twin sister, Ally. Ally normally gets the best lines with dark humour but she’s rather subdued in this novel.

Watch Her Sleep is an easy way to pass a few hours. 3.5*

I really love Charlie’s character, there is something about her that stands out. I think it’s time that we get into a deeper discussion about why she is manifesting Allie. And maybe a clue to what happen to her.

I’m really looking forward to what is next.

Well written, full of tension and nail biting parts.
Even the voice of Ally in Charlie’s head (her dead sister )- adds something to the story.

Charlie finally feels settle in her role as a private investigator with help of her uncle Frank and best friend Zoe assistant Paige and don’t forget her sister Allie who tell it like it is even when you don’t want to hear it.

Charlie case is a woman name Emma who feels she being stalked as she tells her story Charlie feels there’s more to this when she gets a clue that leads her to another woman with terror in her eyes she knows this case won’t be easy.

This was good read because you got different points of view it was written well that you can follow each character without getting lost. I don’t know what I’ll do if I was being stalked it’s sad that this happens in real life. Look forward to next book.

This is the second book I have read by these authors and is the third book in their 'Detective Charlie Winters' series. I have previously read 'First Girl Gone' which I would also highly recommend and is also the first book in the 'Detective Charlie Winters' series. Although this book is third in a series it can also be read as a standalone.

I was originally drawn to this book by its beautiful eye catching cover and its intriguing synopsis. I have also previously read 'First Girl Gone' ' written by L. T Vargus and Tim Mcbain and LOVED it so I'm hoping this will be just as good. The synopsis stated that fans of Kendra Elliot and others will be left reeling after reading in one sitting. I am a fan of Kendra's books so am interested to see if it will live up to this statement. I must admit I was also biased due to the publisher being Bookouture. I have yet to read a book published by Bookouture that I haven't enjoyed. Hopefully this won't be the first... Watch this space! (Written before I started reading the book).

This novel consists of a prologue, 88 chapters and an epilogue. The chapters are short to medium to long in length so possible to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!

This book is written in third person perspective with the protagonist being Detective Charlie Winters. The benefits of third person perspective with multiple protagonists are that it let's you see the bigger picture of what's going on and you get to know more characters more, what they are thinking and what they are doing. It feels like you get to see the whole picture and not miss out in anything.

This book is very well written and I think the writing style had improved since the first book in this series, although I enjoyed that I feel you can see the improvement made in this one. The descriptions are vivid and the environment perfect for the storyline. The cover and synopsis worked well with the plot.

The storyline is filled with suspense and tension from the very first page and is fast paced throughout. I love that this series is based on a private investigator as it gives a different outlook to typical police procedural. I was completely absorbed throughout and there was plenty of action and mystery to keep me addicted. An absolutely gripping and unputdownable crime thriller. I enjoyed the surprising twists and although I worked out the killer at about 75% I didn't have a clue who it was before that.

Although his book is part of a series it can easily be read as a standalone with no difficulty at all and any references to previous cases are explained in jist the right amount of detail.

I really enjoyed meeting all the characters again especially Charlie. It is always a bonus when there is a strong female lead with a great personality. I also enjoyed meeting Frank, Paige and Zoe as well as the lovely Will again and I look forward to meeting them again in the next novel. I was intrigued by the chapters from the Killers perspective as it shows why he is doing what he is and you get to see "behind the scenes" so to say. I love the unique fact that we also get the additional script from Charlie's sister, although she is dead, via Charlie and I think the authors have done a great job on this as it can't have been easy. Allie has her own unique personality and I love her sense of humour.

Another success from LT Vargus and Tim McBain and I look forward to reading the next book in this gripping and addictive series.

Overall another gripping and addictive book in this suspense filled addictive series.

I would recommend this book to the fans of the above as well as fans of Kendra Elliot, books with a private investigator lead, fans of previous books by LT Vargus and Tim McBain and anyone looking for a gripping new series.

There is nothing wrong with someone watching you sleep IF they are someone you love. In that case it even is cute and heart warming, but if it’s someone you don’t know and they do it whilst hiding it a totally different story. It’s scaring and creepy and often it’s not they only thing they want to do. They want more, so much more whether you like it or not.
This is a very good story. I had the impression the authors opened a big new bottle of creepiness and suspense and deliberately poured it over the book and I loved it.
Charlie Winters is once again shining as the leading lady, but her uncle Frank, assistant Paige and best friend Zoe are major players too. What about Will? Well, that a bit of a game of ‘I want him’, ‘I want him not’, ‘I want him’, and repeat. 😉 Of will she make up her mind…? Deep down she knows what she wants, but will she say it out loud?
And than there is Allie… Not one to sugar coat her opinions. She is so funny. Her jokes give you time to take a breathe before you are plunged into the suspense again.

Charlie Winters is well settled in her new role as a successful private investigator at her Uncle Frank's agency on Salem Island. It definitely helps that Frank has a very good working relationship with the local police department and her best friend Zoe also works for them.

When Charlie is visited by Emma Jacobis who is almost sure she's being stalked the tale she tells worries the young investigator sufficiently that she takes the case immediately. As the fear becomes all too real and one of Charlie’s close friends also comes to the attention of the unknown predator the danger strikes far closer to home than anyone could have imagined.

This is the third book in this series and is a very enjoyable read. All the main protagonists seem to have found their own place in Charlie’s universe now and I even coped with Charlie’s sister Allie chatting to her from beyond the grave without any adverse effects!

The person responsible for the chilling crimes tells their tale in the first person which adds a creepy foreboding to everything which happens. It also gives the reader an advantage over Charlie as we are placed one step ahead of her in the investigation.

I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. This is a good book to relax and get lost in with an easily relatable main protagonist.

First of I want to say a huge thank you to the publisher Bookouture, the authors L.T. Vargus & Tim McBain , and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. What can I say that will make you want to pick this up to read, I could say that its so neither of the two books I've read in this series has let me down or had been a disappointment at all , just like book 2, it had me hooked on what was going on and it made me thing at times that someone was watching me ( but that could if just been me because I was reading it in the middle of the night while everyone else was a in bed). As well as had me on edge and jumpy every time I heard a noise out side my bedroom window and I literally jumped with out of my skin when one of my dogs came and jumped on my bed that's how much I was into the story itself. And though out all of it I kept asking myself who was going to be the next victim and would the watcher ( as I called him ) be stopped in time. So after reading this I hope you decide to give this a try.

I finished this book at 4am because I could t stop reading. I had to know what happened and sleep no mattered. This story was very creepy, tapping into a lot of people’s fears that they are being watched. Reading it at night only added to the tension and like several of the characters, every time I heard a noise I was on edge that there was someone hiding in the shadows. Incredible writing and the ending had my stomach in knots with tension. Amazing!

Wow book three as always doesn’t disappoint but I do wonder how much trouble Charlie can keep getting in as she’s always putting her life into danger. This time after failing to save a woman who reports she is being stalked Charlie literally puts her life on the line to find the person responsible before someone else is hurt. Will she end up being the victim herself. Although I guess when we finally find out what happened to her sister it may end the series I really need to know now guys! Please???
