A emotional journey with so much going.
A love triangle that has you rooting for the one you like best.
Main character is Jenna...she’s a single mom, does volunteer work and owns a business. So this busy woman decides to run to be elected to the city council and wins. Now her already busy life gets busier. Throw in dating 2 men plus, a ex she has to pay alimony too.
Nice story about starting over and overcoming what life throws at you.
Thank you to NetGallery, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

Jenna Jones was starting out again with her daughter, Sabrina after moving to Moonlight Harbor. It’s a small oceanside town in Washington. She had divorced her ex-husband, Damien and decided to help her Aunt Edie refurbish the bed and breakfast that she owned not far from the shore. The Driftwood Inn would provide a home as well as employment. She took on the job with Edie’s word that the inn would be hers one day.
At the beginning of the story many of the rooms were complete and guests were staying. Jenna had just been elected to the city council. Sabrina was working at the inn as well. Things looked great except for her love life. Her mother Mel, lived near Seattle. It was a drive but she came over to the Harbor when she had time off work at the Safeway. She too was on edge. Her job as a checker was due to end in a month, 30 short days. She had to decide on finding a job or retire. Getting rehired was next to impossible at her age. Retirement and moving to Moonlight Harbor sounded good but then that meant leaving the home she and her husband had worked so hard to keep. All her memories were there. Being a widow was not easy.
Robert’s latest novel introduces us to Jones' family and friends along with many of the other residents of the beautiful little town. Tourists filtered through every spring, summer and fall. The tales of the locals are filled with comedy. Their shops and cafes provide for the brigade of seabirds but for the most part folks are just living their lives come see come sah. They stick together, help each other, and give support to one another.

I am new to this author, but I definitely plan to read more by her!!
I did overall enjoy this book. I shed some tears and laughed a bunch. The ending wasn't what I thought it would be so that is always interesting! My two favorite characters were Edy and her bird. I am so excited to read more in this series!

Sunset on Moonlight Beach had all of the small-town charm, laughs and sighs--and romance of course!--that always draws me into a Sheila Roberts novel. And boy will readers be wowed with all the joy that was spread amongst the deserving people in this latest installment.
It's always nice to lose myself in one of Sheila Roberts' books. While I was sad that her Icicle Falls series had to end (*sob*) Moonlight Harbor has proven to be just as endearing and to have such diverse characters that I instantly feel at home every time. I will caution that you can probably read these books separately, but because it is a continuing story arc--especially for Jenna with her ongoing family drama and romance woes--it's probably best to read these in order if possible. Plus, the stories are all so heartwarming that you'll want to read them all anyway.
Told from multiple POVs, we got to see firsthand the changes that took place in many of the townspeople's lives. Some events were sad, so have your tissues handy. But overall there was much happiness to be found. And I'm not gonna say who Jenna winds up with or how it all takes place, but fans will be happy to find out that she finally put an end to the Brody vs. Seth debacle!!!! There was admittedly a *lot* of angst on Jenna's part, making me want to shake her a few times, but the way things worked out at the very, very end was oh so satisfying and had me all misty-eyed. And speaking of the end of the book, there are some fabulous recipes included that tie into several scenes so be sure to look for those.
Sheila Roberts' storytelling never gets old. With characters you want to befriend in real life and a setting so serene and magical you can't help get lost in it, Sunset on Moonlight Beach will captivate both romance and women's fiction fans.
I want to live in Moonlight Harbor. The story of Jenna Jones continues with love and heartbreak. It was a story that I could not put down but did not want to finish. Now that the whole family is together in Moonlight Harbor I think this could go for a few more books. With Brody and Seth still in the picture which one will she choose? You might be surprised. I got my wish maybe you will too.
We return to the characters on Moonlight Beach and find out what happens next for Jenna Jones and her family, along with the other residents of the town. There are a couple of large twists in the story that may keep readers guessing as to what's going to happen (although it is possible to put the pieces together to figure out what's going on). The story jumps more between characters than past books have, and it has a definite feel of tying up loose ends, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last in this series. Moonlight Beach is a fun place to visit, and I'd recommend this for a light spring read. Thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin for the advance digital copy!
Sunset on Moonlight Beach will introduce you to the family and friends at the Driftwood motel. You'll get to know them and about their lifes and dreams. See how it will plan out for a few of them.
I love this series amd I hope this is not the end of it. There are a few big lurches in,it. One I saw coming amd it’s sad, but the other I did not. I quickly deduced why the second big lurch occurred. The theme of this book is moving on. People are changing up,their lives and finding the courage to move on. New relationships, a few weddings, and realizations occur. Finally. Jenna ends up with a man. But you have to read to discover which one wins her over. Personally, my favorite character is Elliot West. The scene with the car and classic rock playing is a great one. I love all the characters in their series and there a few more stories to tell so I hope there will be more books.
This is a wonderful book about a woman who loves 2 men but must decide who she is IN LOVE with. There are secrets that is being kept by Brody that Jenna doesn’t understand. When it all comes to the light will Jenna pick Brody (who was keeping the secret) or Seth who loves Jenna but doesn’t think he deserves her. I look forward to more in this series
This book was sent to me by a Netgalley free on Kindle for a review.. it is light reading easily finished quickly. The characters are not as intriguing as one might imagine, but at times, it is kind of a fun read. Others, the reader wonders when it will end. Light light reading.
I enjoyed this book. It was full of laughter, happiness, and tears. The ending wasn't what I expected, I thought it was going to be another predictable ending but it wasn't. That's what makes it great about this book, the feeling of not knowing what is going to happen. My two favorite characters were Edy and her bird.
Edy always took care of others, she loved baking things, and cared about her family and the bird. The bird always asked for whiskey. I found that funny because it is an unusal thing for an animal to drink. Plus it repeated everything they said., I don't want to give to much information. I think people will enjoy this book
I am grateful that netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review
