Kiera and Caleb were in love but with a bit of Drama He pushes her away. However they meet again and guess what!! There is still heat and chemistry between them. They agree to a month together again to see how things are between them, will they be able to walk away at the end of their time. Steamy and lovely...if these are your to-go words, then you will love the book!
Kiera and Caleb were lovers and friends that abruptly ended six years ago with the tragic death of her older brother Brian. Both left their hometown, and now have met up in Manhattan as Kiera is an account copywriter and Caleb is COO of his family's company that is using Kiera's company for their advertising needs. They rekindle their sexual affair with a steamy dominant / submissive relationship but they must keep it on the down low so not to effect their business relationship.
Interesting characters with history with each other. Looking forward to seeing how this is resolved in the second book.
Six years ago, Kiera Anders resolved to put her painful past behind her, seeking a fresh start in New York. She didn’t count on her past finding her again in the form of Caleb Martin - her brother's former best friend and her first love. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Siena Noble is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book

This book is a cliff hanger and I was not expecting it. I was fully invested in the book but I am disappointed that it didn't end.
Not entirely sure the book needed the cliffhanger, it already felt long as it did. The BDSM scenes were good but the emotional subplot kind of muddled the erotica.
High-risk is about two existing who never got over each other. They are now thrust into the same circle because of work, and need to figure out how to co-exist. I loved the relationship between Kiera and Caleb and am rooting for them to work out. Book one does end with a cliffhanger, but it just left me wanting more. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series and see what happens next for them.
this book promises steam from start to finish and it most definitely delivers! The plot progresses nicely with a cliffhanger ending that leaves you wanting more! Sienna Noble is a new to me author that I’m looking forward to reading more from! This is the prefect kind of book to help clear your mind after a particularly heavy read, it’s easy to get lost in with lots of spice! I look forward to book 2!
I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
I am so wrapped up in this book I don’t know if I can wait for the next. Caleb and Kiera have a past together and bits and pieces of it come out throughout parts of this book. Once they see each other again, years after a devastating incident, their attraction is still strong, but will Caleb’s past block any future they may have together?
Can’t wait for the next book to see what comes next.
Kiera Anders is a young professional working in New York City. Six years ago, she lost her brother in a car accident that also seriously injured his best friend, Caleb Martin. Kiera and Caleb had a romantic and sexual relationship. that he ended abruptly after the accident. She has not seen him since the breakup.
Kiera is a rising star with her company. She is going to make a a presentation to an organization that would be a big client for her company. She is aware that Caleb is in upper management with that organization but doesn't expect him to be at the meeting. While she is in the middle of her presentation, Caleb walks in. She is bothered by his appearance but continues with the presentation. As everyone is introduced at the meeting, Caleb does not act as if he knew her. However, he walks down them down to their car and speaks to her. There is still a spark between them.. Caleb wants to resume a relationship with Kiera however, it is not simple as her career is on the line. Their relationship involved domination and submission which she craves so it is tempting. This book contains a number of secrets and he has a sordid past so she has to determine if the risk is worth. This is a good book that ends with a cliffhanger that will be revealed in book 2.
This book has all the feels: angst, sexual tension, heart ache. And BDSM and Tattoos. It does end on a cliffhanger so be warned. I was warned but got so into the book that I had forgotten. Now I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
High Rise by Siena Noble, book one in the Risky Business series.
A new to me author. A very spicy storyline.
I would have liked it more if it gave me more at the ending. I would read more by author.
High Risk is about Kiera reconnecting with her ex. I thought it was a very well-written story. The characters were easy to follow and get into the book. The problem for me was the ending cliffhanger. I prefer each book to finish and complete a story, even in a series.
I really did enjoy the book, and I will very likely read the rest of the series.

New to me author Siena Noble shows promise in the New Adult erotic romances. The kinky part of it may or may not be her forte. I am mixed because I am not sure if this book would have been better with or without the BDSM element. The BDSM element with the club is good. The kinky or SugarKink sex the two characters, Kiera and Caleb, fooled around with in their late teens is realistic and fun. Their youthful exploration is on par with what teenagers exploring sex would do. Their reconnection six years involving kink is a bit more iffy for me.
Perhaps it is the interactions between Kiera and Caleb which does not work for me. Their interactions are a constant conflict with them continuously out of synch. They cannot be honest with each other which is the basics and the foundation of a healthy BDSM relationship. Without honesty, there is no trust; without trust, there is no healthy relationship. Whatever it is between them, it reads like a complete train wreck for me. For some readers, this kind of drama is exciting and they love it. Perhaps from an old jaded kinkster, this kind of dysfunction is not for me. All the kinky accoutrements in the world will not make a kinky relationship work, even if it is just a short term no strings attachment, when trust is simply absent.
The baggage between these two may add a bit of complexity to the story but from a kink perspective, it has all the warning signs of do not pass go. Why? Because actions matter more than words. Caleb's actions from when he broke up with Kiera to his recent mixed signals are not a good sign for a dominant. A supposed experienced dominant which a newly submissive should trust should have been control of themselves. Now, in real life, are there men like Caleb as dominants? Yes. And they are just as much of a train wreck if not more. Since this isn't supposed to be a perfect guide on BDSM, we can move on.
Mixing work with a relationship like this is a tantalizing taboo people fantasize about. I usually enjoy these kind of plot devices. Except in this case, it is clear that neither Caleb nor Kiera have any power for damage control. This makes the story less exciting and more gut clenching. Do I keep riding this train and watch as it inevitable crashes and burns? What will be the collateral damage? How will the author write herself out of this situation without the help of a bit of ex deus machina? Is it possible? Yes; it is possible. Am I in for the ride? Regretfully no. For those who have not read the blurb carefully, this book does end in a cliffhanger. If you do not like cliffhangers, wait until the Trilogy is completed before picking up the books. You were warned.
This erotic romance is recommended to readers who enjoy a kinky exploration, "it's complicated relationship" status and second chances.
A rich, handsome heir with a tragic past ISO a female sub? Come on! We’ve all seen & read this trilogy before, haven’t we?! V e r y 50 Shades here.
This book ends on a sudden cliff hanger so beware.
Both of those issues aside, from the first page, I was pulled into this story. I finished it in a day. Love the writing style & the “throwback” memories sprinkled in. Not too many - just the right amount. The main character is relatable. I liked the development of her relationship with Caleb. I love the idea of revisiting a college romance & having a second chance. The BDSM wasn’t TOO much. I would’ve liked more of an “ending” because even in a trilogy, each book tells its own story. The cliffhanger ending is a let down.
This steamyniess in this book is right up my alley. This book is about exploring Keria past and sexutality. This is some ranuncy business. This is a brilliant start to the series and welcome the characters really well. Caleb is commanding and everything she’s ever wanted in a man, but can he be trusted? And what else is he hiding. How naughty leaving us in a cliffhanger.

warning...warning...this ends with a cliffy
Kiera and Caleb were in love and then tragedy strikes. He pushes her away. Now six years later they meet again. There is still heat and chemistry between them. They agree to a month together again, but will it be enough, will they be able to walk away at the end of their time. I'm thinking his half brother is going to create drama.
This mind blowing erotic novel is one that is intriguing and engulfs the readers on a journey very relatable to every day life and people's personal experiences. This fact in itself encapsulates the curiosity of the reader leaving them yearning to turn the page to read more of its thoroughly engaging content. With contents such as those written within the pages of High Risk , I am sure that readers will welcome and embody the essence of the novel while finding it to be captivating, tantalising and thoroughly entertaining. I would highly recommend this novel to the audience of this genre , it is definitely a must read.
This is the first book in this duet and it does end on a cliffhanger. Kiera left for New York six years ago to get a fresh start but now her past is catching up with her in the form of Caleb Martin. The spark between them is still their but so much has happen and so many secrets. Will she risk everything to be with Caleb again? Fast-paced read with lots of drama, steam and emotion. Great characters with lots of depth. Looking forward to the next book.
High Risk is a character/sex driven story about Kiera reconnecting with her ex and exploring her past and her sexuality.
Here's the thing, story ends on a cliff hanger to build anticipation for the next book? Fine, that's great. However, each book in a series should still have it's own story arc, and this one doesn't. This story felt like it was 1/3 of a book, instead of like the start of a series.
I did enjoy it though, and will likely read the next book if I can find it. It has cute, steamy moments and it was a quick enjoyable read.

One of the best eroticas I've read on here so far! This was a great start to the series and I really enjoyed it. The characters were well written, the plot was mostly unraveled really well (albeit a bit cliche) and the steamy scenes were immaculate 0_0 The writer really makes you care about these characters and I love that
I definitely recommend!!
