I think I actually enjoyed A CUP OF SILVER LINGINGS even more than THE BOOK CHARMER, and that's saying a lot. Dove Pond is a wonderful place to visit and a hard place to leave. I especially enjoyed the exploration of Kristen's relationship with Ellen. Hawkins does a great job creating a sense of place and I can hardly wait to read the next novel set in Dove Pond!

This was a sweet read and I like the touch of magic (it reminds me a bit of books by [author:Sarah Addison Allen|566874]). I wanted some romance between Ava and Dylan though, or at least some sort of acknowledgement of their interest in each other. I'm looking forward to the next one with Ella, but I'm getting impatient for Sarah and Blake's book!
