The line between good and evil is simple. But how to know at which side you are if you’re just following orders?
Fair warning, this story isn’t for everyone. The people who enjoy sarcasm will enjoy this book. Inside Man is a tale of a demon. Once the Duke of Hell, the demon lost his reputation after The Happening. He follows orders to infiltrate people’s minds thereby becoming Inside Man. He then meets an exorcist as part of a plan. As far as my understanding, the relationship between both these acquaintances is fluid. It was good to revisit the places from Prosper’s Demon, which is also a very good book. The writing can be dense at places, but it felt necessary to pack all of the story into a 130 page book. The story is amusing and sarcastic, especially while discussing some concepts.
I think I might give this 3.5💀 Thank you Tor and Netgalley for the arc.
