So excited to to reread the Grishaverse before the Shadow and Bone show comes out! No doubt it will be amazing.

I can't wait to dive back into the Grisha world when this book comes out! I am certain it's going to be as good as the first book, maybe even better!

Bardugo doesn't disappoint! After the cliffhanger of the last book, I can't wait to dive into this one. Her writing is precise and memorable, and March 30th can't come fast enough.

I hope that after the somewhat confusing middle of the previous book that she's able to bring all these plotlines together for a satisfying conclusion!

"Rule of Wolves" by Leigh Bardugo is the second book in a duology taking place in the now infamous Grishaverse. After a wildly successful first installment, this sampler was an easy selection! Bardugo's writing is clear, descriptive and extremely entertaining. The sampler opens with a more ominous attitude as Makhi learns that Nikolai and Ehri are alive, and her plans for marching into the territory need remediation. This dark beginning will have readers pulling for the main characters and hoping for the best possible outcome.

Bardugo writes from multiple points of view which makes the work seem more immersive. Readers will have a birds eye view of the story and be able to follow along with different characters which keeps the pages turning quickly. I enjoyed Nickolai's POV the best, but looked forward to reading the other perspectives as well. This sampler was a great first look into the book and I'll definitely be picking up a copy when it releases!

I was so happy to receive even 3 chapters in this book! I cannot wait to get the finished copy at the end of the month. Bardugo does a great job of building worlds. I love the Grishaverse. These chapters gave me a taste and reminded me about what happened before making me even more excited for this book!

This teaser has made me even more excited for this book to come out! The tension is immediately there, and we were given no indication of how anything would resolve. I love Zoya so much and want only the best for her.

I only received the sampler for this book - so the first three chapters I believe - which only made me even more excited for the release of the book! I love reading about Nikolai's story (Zoya and Nina too)! And really, anything Leigh Bardugo writes, sign me up for it please!!

Is it March 30th yet? That sampler has me (not so) patiently waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail. Can't wait to see how things play out!

This may just be a sampler, but it offers enough to make me impatient to read the entire book. Looking forward to it.

This is my most anticipated new release for 2021! I absolutely cannot wait to read the full novel! Reading this sampler has gotten me so excited for the books release!

So excited for this book to come out in April! I loved these chapters, I would hooked from the beginning, a great start to the book with the scheming of Queen Makhi. Leigh Bardugo paints images of beautiful scenery while also delving into human motivations and emotions. One the books I'm most excited to read in 2021! Everyone should read all her grishaverse book series!

Oh Goodness...I'm partially regretting reading this sampler because now I'm 100% ready for this book to release! If you haven't taken a step into the Grishaverse I definitely recommend Leigh Bardugo's magical world that begins with Shadow and Bone! Rule of Wolves is going to be epic!

This book was already at the top of my list for most anticipated for 2021 but just getting a taste of what is to come is making the wait even harder! I have loved every minute of this series and this world and can't wait to see how things end.

I loved this except so much. but i kind of wish i hadnt read it because now i am so much more excited for Rule of Wolves. I loved first got the queen of shu han's pov, and then Nina and Nikolai.When read it i just really missed the grishaverse. Anyways i was really good and now i cant wait for the book

I found this book easy to get into within the first chapter. I definitely got a sense of who the main characters are and the world they live in. There's a lot of intrigue within the first three chapters, which I was only able to preview, so this is a story I'm interested to read when the full version comes out.

I don't have any major negatives about it - it feels like it could be a high-fantasy book. Nevertheless, I would recommend it to those who like fantasy, especially royals, with compelling characters.

I did not immediately realise that I had picked up the second in a series here. Consequently, I felt thrown into the middle of the action which lead to some confusion. It seemed there were events that did not make sense and details that were not fully explained. However the characters were engaging and now I have realised my mistake, I am intrigued to go back and start with the first book!

It was difficult to follow the plot of this excerpt since I hadn’t read any of the author’s work. However, I was pulled in, wanting to know more of the story and characters . The author is skilled at creating a descriptive atmosphere and interactions. Her sentence mixtures are truly exquisite, making a pleasing flow of words.
