I really love this classic. I find it very easy to read, not like most where you really need to interpret the writing. Also the movie is just fantastic

This was an interesting Book Club Kit to read since it was the first I've looked at for an author who isn't currently alive and therefore contains no direct author related questions/input for a book club to think about. Even without anything author prompted, the questions listed provide some great discussion over some Classic Literature and history of the US for when The Great Gatsby initially came out.

This is widely available online--I had hoped to be able to find something new. The kit provided a few useful fun facts but it was not not very substantive overall.

The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books that I had to read in school. Great book club questions! This is a must have if you are reading this book and love questions that will get your book club rolling. This book club kit includes a copy of the novel along with thought provoking questions and interesting facts that will be fun to talk about and dive into. .

This resource will be perfect for when our Book Club discusses F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic work!

Let’s face it The Great Gatsby, while a classic, is real hit or miss for most. This guide though, gives you discussion questions to dive a little deeper, quotes on the impact of the book during different times from different people, and fun facts. It will definitely spark a discussion with people around you, and engage further with the text.

This is my first time using a book club guide/resource packet like this, and I think it will be helpful! While it felt a bit concise, I think it’s the right length to spark enough conversation for a book club. I don’t necessarily think the praise for the book adds value to the kit.

While this is a very concise resource, it does provide some unique and original discussion questions that would appeal to modern readers of “The Great Gatsby” and that would be a good springboard to facilitate discussion of the novel. Beyond the discussion questions, it also includes a list of “fascinating facts” about the novel and Fitzgerald and some feedback on how the novel has been received over the years. As a book club resource, it is just the right length to stimulate some fruitful discussion of the text.

The guide includes discussion questions and fun facts. It is brief, but could be used in or out of the classroom.

This is a great addition to "The Great Gatsby". I will absolutely include this with my curriculum in my classroom.

I love most of the book club kits from Penguin Random House Library Resources. However, this one felt a bit short for me. I wish they added more fun facts, illustrations, bookmarks, etc.! The questions were thought-provoking and even introduces new arguments and theories. Overall, if you love Gatsby, get this for the questions!!

I thought that the Discussion questions were thought provoking and provided enough background for discussion participants to get the group engaged.
"Love for Gatsby though the years" didn't add much to the kit and could have been eliminated. I think that The Great Gatsby is pretty universally regarded as a classic American novel.
I think that the inclusion of the original art deco cover would have enhanced the "Fascinating facts" section.
My copy of the paperback has several of these facts at the end of the book and I think they are interesting to include in the book club kit.
I would have liked to see some suggestions for a Gatsby themes get together with typical foods/appetizers and beverages that the characters might have had at their get togethers.

I missed the opportunity to study this in highschool and only read it later in life. This book club kit was a wonderful way for me to gain a little bit of that experience and insight that I missed out on by not studying it back then

What a great classic! I read it in high school and have since read it as an adult. I loved this book and all these questions/answers make it even better! I wish these were available for every book!!

This book club kit was a little disappointing. I really enjoyed how they included the page of interesting facts. But other than that there was nothing special, give me a recipe from the time or a game that could have been played! The only other redeeming quality was how cute the slides to the kit were otherwise this wasn’t anything I couldn’t have googled.
