I thought the discussion questions were really interesting, in particular I enjoyed the focus on food and what role food plays for the characters. I think this type of question could start up a nice discussion in a book club setting. The recipes were a nice addition too

Fantastic kit for use in book club meetings. We struggle with discussing the book (we usually say a few worked about it and then start chatting about anything in general) and this will help us to stay on track.

This Book Club Kit contains discussion questions, an interview with the author and recipes relevant to The Chicken Sisters and therefore contains everything you need to run a book club meeting about the book. I thought this kit was beautiful and I like that it carries through the orange and yellow theme from the cover of the book. There are a lot of discussion questions as well as an interview with KJ Dell'Antonia so there would be plenty to discuss in a book club meeting.

My favourite element of this kit was the inclusion of recipes at the end which would really bring the book to life and make for a fun, interactive book club meeting. The recipes included are the author's own family recipes and I liked that she included anecdotes with the recipes.

I highly recommend to anyone who is planning a book club meeting for this book.

I highly recommend reading The Chicken Sisters along with a group and using this Book Club Kit. The book is such a feel good story about sisters and it's funny as well. It is so good to already have discussion questions ready for a book club meeting. This Book Club Kit is so handy to have. Thank you!

Though I didn't read THE CHICKEN SISTERS, I was curious about how a Book Club Kit would be handled. I really like the way it was written, and I think it would be a great research guide for those in a book club.

This is such a fun, engaging book club kit! I love reading interviews with authors, and hearing about what inspired them to write their novel. The included discussion questions are perfect for encouraging deeper exploration of the book's characters and themes, the kit is easily printable/accessible and I loved how Netgalley began including on their sites. Will definitely use in the near future with my very own book club.

I just read the book club kit for THE CHICKEN SISTERS by KJ Dell’Antonia & think that it would be a fun addition to any bookclub meeting. Containing several questions to get the conversation going, this kit will make discussing the book easy & fun. The recipe at the back looks delicious. The Q & A with the author reads like she wrote the notes to you directly. This is a delightful addition to the book.
