You need a guideline to host your book club meeting. Don't look further. With this kit you get everything to setup and host a successful and interesting meeting. Discussion questions are provided to drive conversations around the book. If you are interested in an interview with KG Dell'Antonia you will find this in this kit as well.
If you are wondering what to serve you will have a few ideas provided which comes from KJ's kitchen.
How fun is that? The design is very fun and all in all a nice tool to round up the book journey.

Though this book was not a favorite in our book club, the discussion questions in this book club kit helped move the discussion along. The questions were a nice supplement to the book and certainly helped create discussion, but I think the real "star" of the show were the recipes in the back--though I did find it interesting that the recipes were included in the book club kit and not the actual book, when food played such a large part in the story.

I read The Chicken Sisters and was excited to see the Book Club Kit for it here. Our Book Club will be using it next month as we sit around, having chicken of course, and this will be helpful for our discussion. I love that there is a conversation with the author, KJ Dell'Antonia as I like to hear their thoughts behind the writing of a story. But the best is the "secret" recipe for Frank's Family Fried Chicken. Yum.
If your book club is reading this book, which I highly recommend, this guide will be a great help.

I borrowed this book from my library and referred to this resource kit as I was reading it. Very helpful.

Ok. So I thought it would be a book but then it is a book kit with question that might be helpful for the ones reading the book or have already read it. And also there are receipes at the end😃

This book was sent to me as an ARC on Netgalley. However, all opinions were of my own.
Unfortunately I was unable to read this book as I did not realise the book was only containing prompts for the book club including questions for each chapter.

My neighbors and I decided to start a monthly book club and are kicking it off with “The Chicken Sisters”. Having discussion questions is a must, so I am grateful that those have been provided in this kit. What I didn’t anticipate were the recipes that were included! I am so excited to make the cream pie recipe for us to eat as we discuss this book together.

This is a great resource for a book club. I am definitely going to read the underlying book and possibly will recommend that it be added to my book club's reading calendar for the upcoming year. We always have one meeting where we carry in food that is all themed around the book so this would be a great fit, especially since the reading guide contains recipes!

This is a great resource! I love that there are open ended questions to share with your book club group, and also a short interview with the author. It provides some good insight into the decisions make in the writing of the book. We always like to chat about the author at my book club, so I appreciate that this was included. There’s even some recipes in the back of this guide!

I really appreciated having this book club kit to think about this book on a deeper level. I would be helpful to have discussion questions at the back of every book. Sometimes the questions make me think about the good themes in a different way.

This is a great book club kit to go with the book. My book club is always looking for discussion prompts, and I thought the questions in this kit were great to spark discussion. I really enjoyed the author interview and the recipes as well, since the whole time I was reading the book I wanted to be able to eat the food! I hope more of these kits are made for other books. They make hosting bookclub so easy!

Reality cooking show, sort-of feuding (but really just annoyed with each other) sisters, and small town politics are the genealogy that make up this tale that could have used a little bit more heart and soul.

I'm obviously stupid and didn't know what a book club kit was. All the same, this was fantastic. Amazing ideas and questions for discussion.

This was not the book. It was only the Book Club discussion of the book. I could not give it a review as I could NOT read the book. I did not get the reasons to send a Book kit.

This is a great resource for those looking to host a book club. It features some great conversation starters and I think it compliments the book well.

Great resource!! This is a great companion piece to the book! I have not yet read the book but I am looking forward to it. I've heard so much about it. I lead book clubs at my library and if we decide to read The Chicken Sisters this would be a good resource.

This guide will be awesome to have for a book club discussion! In addition to a reader's guide, and a conversation with the author KJ Dell'Antonia, it has a few recipes at the end! This will be great to have if my book club decides to read The Chicken Sisters in the future! And it would be so fun if we all tried to make the recipes and had our discussion over dinner/dessert!
