It's no secret that I am not the biggest fan of "The Midnight Library". However, what I also have been pretty vocal about is the fact, that I think this book is great for discussions and book clubs.

This book club kit proves me right, because the questions are well fitting for the book ,even though I think some of them have a similar tone to it and maybe, could be combined or replaced with other questions.

The author interview was a great input though and gives a great insight on how this book came about.

I am seriously OBSESSED with this book club kit!!! It has author interview pages, discussion question pages, good ideas, read next ideas, games…. So many fun things to use with the book!! A great tool to have!!

This book club kit is a fantastic resource for Midnight Library. I read the title a few months ago and although I found the book not to my taste, the kit itself is great for starting discussions with friends or groups on the topics covered. I wanted to take a look at the Book Club Kit in order to better understand the book and I was pleasantly surprised with really deep and thought-provoking questions as well as an interview with the author about this book and his other works. The questions actually provided me with more insight into the story than I had previously thought about, so I loved being able to think more about something I really enjoyed. The conversation with Matt Haig was incredibly insightful and interesting, and I'm glad it is included in the Book Club Kit. Book Club Kit: The Midnight Library Review

This is such a good resource to use if you plan on reading the Midnight Library with your book club!! It has some great and useful topics so that you may have fun chatting and discussing about the book. I wish there was more tho. I felt like it had great potential but ut wasn’t as developed. Still like it tho.

A good book club kit to go with the book itself. Really enjoyed the questions, they’re bound to lead to some awesome discussions.

I actually thought it was the original book at first, anyway it’s an interesting source if you want to read The Midnight Library for your book club!

Although this would be, what seems to be, a great resource for book clubs, specifically around The Midnight Library, the file would not open on any of my devices. The error message stated that the file may have been removed or damaged. Hoping that others are able to enjoy the resource and apply it to their clubs!

This is such a smart idea. I read this book so long ago but going over this kit made me wish to reread soon! These questions really helpful for when you wish to analyse the book and put it into words. Moreover these thought provocking questions really made me think about my life as well! I absolutely loved having this kit and also enjoyed reading the "In conversation" part about the author to get the insight about their writing process.

Awesome book club kit. I'm really excited to read Midnight library now. Hopefully it will be more book club kit like this. It is so cute.

I’m so ready to read “The Midnight Library” after seeing this Book Club Kit 🤍💌
In fact, I’m pretty sure that I’ll be jumping right into it now!!

This was a very nice book club kit, I loved the questions and they can really spark the conversation between people.

Great book. After reading this, I went out and bought the physical copy to have at home because I liked it so much. Great writing and plot. I highly recommend this read!

I really enjoyed this book. It was not like my typical reads due to a little bit of the fantasy aspect, but the synopsis of this book and the buzz surrounding it made me want to read it and see what all the fuss was about. I'm definitely glad I did! It's such an interesting concept and handled very well by Haig. What could have been a convoluted, confusing attempt at fantasy was clearly written and extremely effective in its storytelling.

Now I know what you are all thinking, was it a little too feel-good? A little too cliche in its message? Sure. But is there really anything wrong with a feel good, happy ending to a novel? Does the ending have to be depressing to be effective? I don't think so. I think the ending was the perfect result for the story I read, and I appreciated the author going in that direction.

I really enjoyed this book when I read it. It was a great exploration of depression and how we learn how to cope with life when things don't go as we planned. That the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Matt Haig did a wonderful job with an intriguing plot and it came together for a beautiful end. Definitely need to read more by him.
