This book club kit was very well put together. I thought the questions were thought out well.
I also enjoyed the section with the author, it gives you a different perspective of the book.

I really like having the social media icons and handles at the end, gives the readers a way to connect with the author.

5⭐️ Book Club Kit!

I thought that this was a decent read. I was expecting a little bit more out of it, though I did like the idea of parallel universe and how the main character grew and learned with each life that she had chosen.

TW: suicide, cancer, death, drugs, and alcohol

The discussion questions were helpful for the book club.

I haven't read the actual book but by reading this kit, its like you're getting an idea about the book. With the insights from the author, it helps with the overall background of the story.

The design of this is really cool! I enjoyed the graphic elements a lot. I also liked that it included discussion questions and an interview with the author. Would be a good companion for reading this in a book club!

I knew I would like this book from the very first page. The plot is imaginative, unique, and interesting! I found myself folding down numerous pages with little words of wisdom that I will carry with me. I may be a bit biased as I do love Matt Haig's writing. :) Highly recommend, especially for first time readers of Haig's work.

This was a wonderful resource for Bookclub. The questions were very thought provoking and so different to other examples I have found online.
I also really enjoyed the interview with Matt Haig the author as it gave us another insight into the book.
I wish I had more of these for our book club.

i didn't see that this was a book club kit when downloading. i expected to be able to read the book and that's why i didn't read through this kit.

This book was very helpful in discussing different narratives around The Midnight Library. It's great for starting detailed conversations and getting everyone's different points of view.

I enjoyed looking at the questions with my friend- it led to some discussions surrounding the book. This was the first thing I downloaded on Netgalley and helped me get into the swing of things!

While the book had plenty of things to talk about on its own, the book club kit for Midnight Library was really helpful to push discussion and allow us to talk about things other than what we came up with ourselves.

As someone who has tried and failed to create or be apart of MANY book clubs, I absolutely love this kit! This book is one of my top books on my TBR along with a few friends, after showing this to them we have decided to read and discuss together and use this kit to guide us! This kit was sadly lacking in much of anything except author interview and discussion questions. Not very impressive or interactive for a book club.

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig is one of my favorite books of all time, and this book club kit just added to my feelings of warm fuzzies towards the novel. The kit includes discussion questions and an interview with Matt Haig. It certainly would enhance any book club meeting.

My book club enjoyed using this Book Club Kit to enhance our discussion of The Midnight Library, The kid helped us stay on track with our discussion and gave us relevant questions to ponder instead of our usual, did you like the book question we usually ask.

This was such a popular book in 2021. I kept seeing reviews on it so I gave in. It's a great concept. I really liked all the characters, I just felt like it went on too long. I was ready to wrap it up long before the book was over. I enjoyed it, I just wouldn't tell everyone they have to read this book.

I would have liked to see more creativity with this Book Club Kit. Among the ones I have reviewed, I’ve seen bookmarks, paper dolls, recipes, alternate book suggestions, and considerate additives like a content warning and list of hotlines.

This kit lacks all of that and has only discussion questions and an author interview. Those are great, but it leaves the kit feeling kind of empty.

A cool addition could be a quiz section, like a choose your own adventure, to put yourself in the shoes of someone in the Midnight Library, looking in at the lives you may have lived.

I also would have liked to see more book suggestions, because after all, the book is about a library full of books. Suggestions are called for.

A helpful guide for novice book clubs. Perhaps not the most thorough aid available and does not instigate truly thought provoking conversation as this book allows. Speaking from the perspective of someone who has read this book as part of a book club and held a vivid discussion of the novel that elaborated much more than this aid encourages.

Overall, a pleasant and useful guide but a tad basic. The additional comments from the author added interest.
