I've never read a Book Club Kit before, and this was a great place to start! Untamed is a great book club pick, and this kit would be a great addition for any book club. I enjoyed how the questions were divided into parts, and not only did the kit have questions, but went into depth about said topic. My absolute favorite part was the Enhance Your Book Club section. The idea for everyone bringing a picture that shows them as "untamed" could be such a fun ice breaker, or a fun way to reminisce with friends. The Enhance section has fun and exhilarating exercises that will leave the participants feeling lighter and freer. I truly feel like I have been missing out by not checking out more Book Club Kits, and I 100% will be looking for more in the future.

A beautiful book club kit for the book Untamed by Glennon Doyle. I was gifted this book by a friend but haven’t started it yet, but the book club kit allowed me to have a teaser for it. Includes discussion questions and ideas to enhance your book club including supporting a charitable donation that’s important to Glennon.

-The discussion questions were in-depth, in chronological order for the story. They were thought-provoking and open-ended for reader discussion.
-I liked the addition of enhancement ideas included at the end of the book club guide.

Untamed is Glendon Doyle is about navigating divorce, forming a new blended family, and discovering that the brokenness or wholeness of a family depends not on its structure but on each member's ability to bring her full self to the table, --- a memoir. This Book Club Kit is an excellent resource for this book! It includes discussion questions that provokes discussions and a Q&A with the author

I loved the discussion questions in this kit, especially the enhance your book club ones. This kit doesn’t really include much else, but I think the topic and the book present ample opportunity for this to be useful. I’m also very curious about this nonprofit mentioned—it’s the first time I’ve seen one in a kit and I’d love to see that more often. It is the author’s nonprofit, though, which explains the inclusion.

The book club kit for "Untamed" by Glennon Doyle contains a plethora of discussion questions aimed at helping readers identify parallels between the author's journey and their own lives. There are also some suggested activities, which was a nice addition that provided a bit more for book clubs besides just general discussion. I would have liked to have seen a Q&A on the author's process for writing this book or some things that she might have discovered in her reflection on process and the book's reception. Overall, this kit provides good resources for structuring an engaging book club meeting.

Fabulous companion to “Untamed”. I will definitely be using this in my book club. The questions are thoughtful and really allow you to stop and analyze the chapter even more. This is accessible and makes for great discussion. I would highly recommend this tool as a book club reference to spark meaningful conversations.

Good overview and questions to spark discussion of the book. Seeing these questions made me realize there was more structure to the book than I first realized, especially as I listened to the audio book and didn't see the pattern visually.

This Book Club Kit contains both discussion questions as well as more interactive activities to accompany a book club meeting about Untamed by Glennon Doyle. I thought the interactive 'enhance your book club' activities were very thought provoking and would definitely make a book club meeting more interesting. The discussion questions seemed interesting and would evoke some good discussions.

I do wish that this kit were slightly longer and contained more interactive activities such as a playlist or recipes etc. I would be slightly concerned if I were to use this for a book club meeting that I would run out of questions and activities too quickly. Additionally all the activities are discussion based and a lot of the questions are quite heavy and personal due to the nature of the book so I feel that the book club kit could have done with something for light relief.

A bit more complicated to open up but a helpful tool for any and all book clubs! I can’t wait to use this resource in 2025!

Doyle's storytelling is both captivating and relatable. Her vulnerability and authenticity create a strong connection with the reader. This book club kit was well thought out and put together.

Fantastic kit for use in book club meetings. We struggle with discussing the book (we usually say a few worked about it and then start chatting about anything in general) and this will help us to stay on track.

I like seeing the resources NetGalley has for select books, so I picked this up because I recently (on the recommendation of a friend) read "Untamed". This is a little unusual in terms of NetGalley's book club kits—where others I've picked up have been multifaceted, incorporating things like book club questions and interviews and recipes and suggestions for readalike books, the BCK for "Untamed" is (almost) purely a reading group guide—about five pages of questions and one page of suggested activities to do with or without your book club.*

I find some of the questions more thought-provoking than others, which seems about right because it means that they're reasonably varied. A lot of them ask the reader to reflect on their own life and how it interacts with the themes in Doyle's book, but others ask the reader to consider the book's themes and craft more broadly. There are definitely way too many questions for any given book club to get through (this is a good thing), so if you make use of it in planning a book discussion, I'd recommend going through it carefully well ahead of time to decide which questions to prioritize.

It's been a while since I was in a book club proper, but long question lists make me think that I need to find a new one!
