Beautifully presented book club kit that talks you through major points of the book and gives you discussion topics. The kit includes questions, quotes and a Q and A with Michelle Obama to get the discussions going.

The visual design aspect of the kit is very neat and professional and the questions make for interesting and thorough diving into the topics of the book.

Becoming has been in my TBR for the longest. Everything has a place and a time; the time to b read this book was NOW. As I read this book i saw thru her writing the love and admiration she held for her husband- Barack Obama. There are many times in this memor where they could have taken the easy road, but did not. These moments helped to shape Michelle Obama, and her family into people that are loved and admired.
This is a must read memoir

Becoming is about and written by such a strong woman, these guide is so great in the way it asks questions that makes you think more about the book!

This Book Club Kit for Michelle Obama's book, Becoming, is a useful tool to reflect on one's experience reading this book. It includes graphics, an interview with Michelle, and discussion/reflection questions. Similar to some of the other reviewers, to make this kit more comprehensive it would have been neat to have some additional media included, such as suggested food/drink recipes for book club and also a music playlist, since Michelle loves music. But overall I would recommend this kit if you are wanting to have a deeper, guided discussion on Becoming.

Fantastic kit for use in book club meetings. We struggle with discussing the book (we usually say a few worked about it and then start chatting about anything in general) and this will help us to stay on track.

This Book Club Kit contains discussion questions as well as an interview with Michelle Obama and is designed to accompany a book club meeting on Becoming. My favourite part of this kit was definitely the interview as I found it fascinating and its definitely convinced me to finally read this book. I also really enjoyed the quotes page which was included as it gave me a taste of her writing style which enforced my desire to read this book. I thought the discussion questions would be great to encourage some interesting conversations at a book club meeting.

Overall this book club kit has convinced to read Becoming and I will definitely be referring back to the kit after I have read the book!

However, while the kit offers a good starting point, there are several elements missing that could have enhanced the overall experience of discussing such an amazing book.

To elevate the immersion for a book club gathering around "Becoming," it would have been fantastic to see additions like Michelle's favorite music curated into a playlist. This could have set the mood and added an extra layer of connection to the themes of the book. Additionally, including a book club food menu inspired by the memoir or incorporating engaging games related to the content would have made the discussion even more interactive and memorable.

Despite these omissions, the provided interview and discussion materials do provide valuable insights and prompts for meaningful conversations. With a few creative additions, this Book Club Kit could truly transform the experience of exploring "Becoming" together with friends.

A great kit for one of the most incredible memoirs to have ever been written. This kit helped me guide one of the most successful book club meetings I've ever lead. It helped me form the appropriate questions, discussion points and overall eternal adoration for the former First Lady. Would recommend!

I love the resources included in this book club kit. I would use this with older children such as 6 grade - high school. Overall it has great questions to keep conversation going and I could see myself using this with a book club.

I thought the questions were a bit lengthy and (in practice) may not generate lots of discussion. They reminded me of prompts from a high school English class where you have to write an essay.

This was a book that I had previously read. I loved this book. I loved how Michelle explained in her own words the ends and outs of how she became the woman that she is today. She is a very motivational person and it easily rubs off on others. As I read the pages I felt like I was in the room with her as she told the stories of her life. I highly recommend this book.

BECOMING BOOK CLUB KIT

I apologize in advance if this is not a review of Michelle Obama's favorite of mine called, "Becoming." I searched out the Book Club Kit on Good Reads and it brought me to the appropriate page to post this review of the "BOOK CLUB KIT," twice. Each time I entered my rating it brought me to the wrong place which is why it's posted here. I refuse to keep doing the same thing over again and getting hijacked here. So here is my very short review of the Book Club Kit that will have to be accepted.

I listened to the Audio version of this very powerful memoir of Michelle Obama's "Becoming." It remains my top three favorite Audio experiences. My other two are "At Home in the World," by Joyce Maynard, and "Inheritance," by Dani Shapiro.

So if you're looking for three fascinating Audio listening experiences be sure to try any of these three.

I liked this Book Club Kit of Michelle Obama's "Becoming," because I plan on using it at my book club meeting as we are discussing her memoir.

It has a wealth of resources to enhance any book club discussions. One of the things that I appreciate about it is the thirty questions to ask. They are broken up between two categories of each containing fifteen questions. Additionally, what I also loved about this Book Club Kit: "Becoming," are the questions and answers section with this iconic former First Lady

I know that this is going to be a hit with my book club this week, so I was happy when I discovered that it was available at random, today, on Net Galley.

I have seen book club kits before offered by Net Galley for other books that I have read, but never knew that they were so helpful until today. I will be sure to utilize them in the future after seeing how helpful that this one is.

It's frustrating that the Good Reads Website has me posting my review on her memoir in hardcover, which again I'm only doing because when I began my review on the proper book club kit in Good Reads it jumped to the hardcover of her memoir. I'm not going to torture myself by repeating the same actions leading me to here, therefore it will be posted here. But, not for my lack of trying.
