A busy architect returns home to his ailing father only to find that his dad has decided to get engaged to a beautiful private nurse, who is 40 years younger than him. Beckett has always been consumed with work and his strained relationship with his father and stepmothers, however when his father’s health takes a turn for the worst, he decides to come home and try and spend time together. To his surprise, he is greeted by a much happier and friendlier dad and a gorgeous private nurse who Beckett finds himself falling for, too bad she’s engaged to his dad. Cora is a private nurse trying to make a living and sending money back to her family in the Philippines to help with medical issues. She’s become best friends with Chester (Beckett’s dad) and wants to help them repair their relationship as Chester doesn’t have a lot of time left. Chester offer Cora a deal, if she goes along with his fake engagement scheme he’ll help her with her financial situation and help her get money to her family. The only problem is that she might actually start be developing feelings for Beckett.

This was a funny and sweet rom com! I loved all the twists and turns and how fun Chester was as a matchmaker. Cora was super sweet and had a heart of gold! Beckett was a fun romance lead and it was just an overall great short read! I would definitely recommend it!
