This is such a great recourse for a book club that isn't sure what book to pick next. Very helpful for teens and adults who want a summery and also discussion questions.
I just discovered this great resource and it is amazing. I am going to try to catch up with the latest issues as I know it will be so helpful with the book club I just took over at my local library.
Thank you Netgalley for this gift!!
Wow, This is a Book Club brochure which is an excellent resource for readers to think of what to read next. I wish I could read some of the suggested some of the favorite book titles: The opium Prince, Agent Sonya, The Thursday Murder Club, Glamour Girls, Wider than the sky, Perestroika in Paris. This Book Club brochure has suggested titles and sample discussion questions for my library. I have signed up in the link for the chance to win free books.
Thank you Netgalley, I just reviewed Book Club Brochure Vol. 21 by Various. #NetGalley
This is such a perfect collection of books that helps to narrow down what to choose next for book club! I love the brief description and the discussion questions that help to facilitate a group discussion. I have already picked a few to choose for my next meeting!

As the leader and selector of books for our library book club, I found this brochure especially helpful.
Loved the book synopses and recommendations in this magazine. I also loved that there were lots of discussion questions included. Overall a nice guide of many genres.
I may see if I can download some of the other issues.

As I have started Book Club so I am looking for some helpful books with some ideas of how it might be organised. This brochure is amazing! Thank you very much for so useful information!

Ok, so I'm late to the game but HOW COOL ARE THESE BROCHURES?? Admittedly, even though I have high aspirations of starting a book club- I probably won't anytime soon. I even added some of these books to my TBR as I've never heard about them. (Go figure, the FB or IG algorithm buries books unless it's a popular author)
This is cool in general, I don't feel it necessarily HAS to be catered to a book club (but the popular conversation questions are a bonus!). I would like these monthly (or even weekly) to see what's new and upcoming. Yes, I know I can add my email to the never-ending mailing lists for an author or publisher but honestly- they are sooooo overrun with marketing and links/promo that it's nice just to have a document that is concise and to the point- Title, Author, ISBN, Publisher, Format, Hook (and a note that if you like {insert title here} or are a fan of {insert author(s)} here that this book may appeal to you), and then a brief description of the book.
I would actually use these to add to my WL or my TBR or even to discuss with friends to see if it's on their radar and we could buddy-read.
Suggestions to improve would be adding genre, publish date and page count as that will assist people being able to scan through and determine what book will be suited for their next book club read!
Will definitely keep an eye out for these!! A++
These booklets are the PERFECT way to pick your next book club. Details on each book in various genres is a must have. As someone who has run several book clubs, this is the perfect addition to find out about upcoming releases.
Interesting idea, not very nice looking but does the job and could be an inspiration for booksellers, librarians or teachers wanting to create a similar guide with books of their choosing to discuss with clients, members or students.
Avid readers and less-passionate ones will find their next great book(s) to read in BOOK CLUB BROCHURE VOL 21 from Penguin Random House. Whatever your favorite type of story, you will find new treasures in the remarkable array of titles with thoughtful descriptions and questions for book clubs. As member of a long running book club eager to read and discuss books as well as our lives, I imagine that other readers and book club members will find their own gems in the guide, along with prompts and suggestions to elevate and deepen conversation. I received an advance reader copy of this book and the opinions expressed are my own, unbiased thoughts.
This is a fantastic Brochure. I will definitely lookout for more of them. Every page includes a book recommendation. Books are well-chosen and across all genres. Each book recommendation includes a description of the content, some advisory about the book for the reader, and a collection of discussion questions. This is a phenomenal tool for book choosing of a book club and also guiding through the discussions after reading the book for the next meeting.
I love these kind of resources!! Thank you for gathering all this information in one place. It is so helpful to my Book Club when we have a guide like when attempting to make our choices of book to read each month.
Thank you to @netgalley and the publisher for this free eARC.
I find this publication really helpful for both the inspiration on the next reads and also nice question to get the discussion started.
You don't necessarily need to be in a book club, you can use these templates for booktube or bookstagram.
I would like to get this every month!!!
I was so pleased that I chose to download this book....so informational and readable and delightful...........if you are in multiple boo clubs, this will be a necessary addition to your bookshelf or coffee table or nightstand. If you are only in one, tell your book friends to buy it and use its information in your meeting discussion. sherryk
This is a book club brochure aimed to prepare readers for book clubs. There are discussion questions provided as well as a summary of the book.
This is a great resource for use when planning 2022 book club books (or those still scheduling 2021 books). There are multiple genres represented and thought-provoking questions for use during your meeting. While we had already used some of the books, there are multiple options to use going forward.
A lot of good titles and books in this issue. I look forward to reading many of these books in their entirety.
I’ve been reading constantly for over 10 years. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find a good books. So this was a goldmine. This volume was very helpful. It’s a super short summary of each book, compared with like minded authors and a few questions to help decide whether you want it for a book club.
A great way to discover new books.
Thanks Penguin Random House Library Resources via Netgalley.
So many books I can't wait to read coming out soon! Too many to even list... I'm looking forward to requesting the next seasonal one of these
