This book does a great job breaking down the 2020 election and looking at the issues, and perspectives, that dominated the cycle. It's a great "first cut" of history that will put a lot of the issues into context. For readers who may not have followed the election too closely, or want something that stands to be objective in writing, this book will enlighten. It's strengths lay in the fact that it does a good job surveying the scene of the election, explaining the background that led up to the issues surrounding it. My only suggestion would be to have a chapter that continues the trends and gives some insight into where the Biden administration might go. Overall, don't have students go searching for information about the election, give them this
