My Quick Thoughts: A fantastic concept that is executed in an innovative fashion! Children learn to embrace diversity in this narrative that is warm, wonderful, and straightforward. Readers discover – delightfully – that no matter our differences, there is one thing we all have in common – we are all beautiful in our own way!

The illustrations accompanying the narrative are vibrant and adorable illustrations and sure to leave you with a smile on your face. And as a bonus, there are two quick and simple activities for its young readers at the end of the book.

A great book for parents explaining differences to their children, and for use in classrooms everywhere!

thanks to netgalley for the e-rc of this book. all opinions are my own

I loved this book! The cute illustrations were enough to captivate me but the cute and very important message made this book perfect! I love books with messages about self acceptance and diversity and this is one of my new favorites. I will definitely be recommending this once we get the title in!

All People Are Beautiful by Vincent Kelly was nicely illustrated. However, I feel like the overall intent of the book missed the mark. #AllPeopleAreBeautiful #NetGalley

This book incorporates the powerful and true messages that will help children/students throughout the years to come.

This is a very sweet book, and I love its message of everyone being beautiful because of our differences, rather than in spite of them. This is a great message for children, for everyone really. The illustrations are bright, cheerful, and engaging, and the text has a nice, non-sing-songy rhythm to it. A good addition to any kid's book collection.

Love everything about this book. It was very simple and easy to follow along. I would say my favorite aspect of this book would be the anti bias theme and how beautifully everything was illustrated. Great for any ece classroom

I loved this book and its message!

Finding books that portray diversity in an easy way for a child to digest has turned out a mission for me. This book does a great job of showing both diversity and different cultural backgrounds. My son loved learning about the kids in the story and trying to identify their culture and heritage. It helped us to talk about how in his school, there are kids from different backgrounds and cultures, and how to be respectful of other people's customs even if we don't understand them.

It was a great read and easy to read for my six year-old, and he loved the illustrations as well as the story itself.

Vincent Kelly’s new book, All People Are Beautiful, has lovely bright illustrations with a racially diverse group of characters. The idea behind the book is a good one. Showing kids the beauty of diversity in a global world is important. However, in my opinion the book falls short of the intended purpose.

Diversity includes more than just skin color. However, the book makes no mention of people with differing abilities, and the activities of children in the book are all gender stereotyped. This was a huge missed opportunity.

I love the approach of this book to introduce kids to people of different colors and races. I only wish that there had been kids of different abilities (such as in wheelchairs) but appreciated that there wasn't an emphasis on genders (such as the boy with long hair and it just being a part of who he is and not a discussion of gender/sex). I loved seeing the kids doing a variety of different activities and the pictures of them in different countries speaking various languages. It is a simple book but does a great job to show children that there are lots of different people and that people come in various different shades of color, culture, etc. I will definitely be using this book to introduce my children to different cultures in a gentle manner and teach them that all races and people are beautiful.

All People are beautiful is a book that celebrates diversity and tolerance. We belong to different family structures, religions, cultures, and countries, and there is beauty in diversity. I liked the concept of the book but the illustrations could have been better. It felt cluttered in a few places and the facial features were alike, with big eyes.

This bright and cheery diversity read will be a sweet addition to group storytime settings/kindergarten classes. The two activities at the end of the book are sure to help kindergarteners introduce themselves and start conversations. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating was because this book treaded lightly at the shallow end of the diversity conversation, so it did not stand out from other diversity books currently on the shelves for 3-5 year olds.

This children's book is a beautifully illustrated reflection that no matter what you look like, everyone is beautiful. Its a quick read, geared towards children, but with the way the world is now, adults could benefit from the message All People Are Beautiful portrays.

The drawings are very inclusive -- it features people of different races, ethnicities, and body types -- which is so important for young readers to see. The book teaches love and acceptance. This book would be a perfect gift for a young child.

This book is perfect for the classroom! It talks about how the world is a melting pot and it is ok to have acknowledge and embrace those differences! I’m looking forward to having this in my own classroom!

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy. This was a very cute book, albeit very short. It definitely needs an adult to read aloud for younger readers. I liked the activities at the end of the book. This book does not feature religious diversity, but it does include children from all continents. I liked it, and would include it in my classroom library.

Lovely book with a wonderful message. My son enjoyed looking at the beautifully illustrated pictures while I read it to him. Simple language, strong message that’s definitely required now.
A must buy!

This was a sweet book. I liked the illustrations and the extra activities at the end. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it wasn't really clear if this was a rhyming book, like a poem. Some pages seemed to rhyme and others didn't, so it made reading it out loud to my child a little awkward. I would still recommend this book about acceptance and loving others. I received a free copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Who wouldn't love LOVE this small colorful storybook?!

I just love the illustrations! They are so overwhelmingly good!

The main message is clear:
"All people are beautiful. It doesn't matter what you look like. What matters is that we treat each other right."

The diversity representation is done well and perfect.

The fun activity part towards the end of this book is a good one. I didn't expect that.

Go for this one. The kids and the adults will have a good time together.

Thank you authors and the publisher for the advance reading copy.

This was a very short and sweet book with the single minded message of demonstrating that as the title says, all people are beautiful. The text was a great size for easy reading by a young reader and the concepts were extremely approachable from a variety of grades/ages but I'd suggest this for elementary age kids. The colors in the illustrations were extremely vibrant and popped off the page. I loved that such a broad spectrum of people and aspects of these people were represented. If I had to give any less than stellar comments it would be that some of the people felt like they were in costume rather than genuine. Overall this was a really great book and I believe the target audience would agree.

Great topic for discussion in this age group. The illustrations were lovely and the message passed along well. Could have used a bit more of a story but still appreciate this book.
