Everything comes to a head in this volume, finishing up the story of the Doolin brothers and The Girl With No Name. Things happen pretty quickly, and I wouldn't have minded more pages to slow things down a bit, but I'm not counting that as a negative, just a preference. The Doolin brothers went very different ways previously, and now they're meeting up to either save the universe or break it, depending on who wins. I'm not giving any clues, but be prepared for an epic battle! I was satisfied with the way things ended, and how things got to that ending. The art continues to be fabulous, the coloring is gorgeous, and The Girl With No Name is an absolute icon (or should be). I loved this series, and will be looking for whatever Captain Artiglio comes up with next!

This third volume of Gunland was one big final battle between the Doolin brothers. It was fine but missing some of the weird inventiveness that made the first 2 volumes so interesting. Still, I'll be looking forward to what Captain Artiglio does next.

The art in this series is just amazing, and I wish the plot and the depth of the characters matched! This is the final volume of the trilogy, where all the machinations and sibling rivalries come to a head, but all the (somewhat tropey) events seem to happen too fast and be too shoehorned in; the pacing is all off. I can imagine picking up these volumes again and leafing through the art, and I love the inventiveness of the worldbuilding even after three volumes, but I just don't think the story matches the promise of the art and setting.

'Gunland Volume 3' with story and art by Captain Artiglio is the conclusion of this strange graphic novel series.

The very different paths of the Doolin brothers all lead to a big showdown. In a world of monsters, bullets and magic, an epic fight will be nothing short of epic.

I read the first volume and didn't really get all that was going on. I missed the second, so the third was out there too. Regardless, I love the art and this gonzo story. The worldbuilding is not completely original but works so well here.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Diamond Book Distributors and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

This is the culmination of the series. It's such a weird story. I liked some things about it but a lot of it just didn't make sense. I still don't even know half the character's names. But it was entertaining.

A brilliant conclusion to this trilogy. Gunland is such a unique story with a series of unique characters, artwork and world. I would struggle to find a comparison but think "I Hate Fairyland" crossed with "Jurassic Park" and the crew from "Stranger Things" featuring both a western style and aliens would be the closest I could get. I encourage graphic novel lovers to pick up the first volume. I can't wait for Captain Artiglio to create more works in English.
